Llamamos a esta casa "Rise & Wine" debido a los magníficos amaneceres y su proximidad a la Ruta del Vino del Lago Seneca. La casa es espaciosa, con 4 dormitorios y 2 baños completos, puede alojar cómodamente grupos de hasta 10 personas.

"Rise & Wine" presenta un plano de planta abierto de más de 2200 pies de espacio habitable. La gran cocina con isla central fluye maravillosamente hacia la "gran sala", completa con chimenea decorativa, TV de pantalla plana y comedor. La gran sala fluye sin problemas hacia una enorme cubierta envolvente a través de múltiples puertas corredizas de vidrio. Las vistas del lago desde la cocina, la gran sala y la terraza son absolutamente espectaculares. El lago siempre ofrece una vista increíble en sí misma, pero la granja de caballos de nuestro vecino, el clásico granero rojo y los acres de campos de girasol en primer plano también son impresionantes.

Rise & Wine, se asienta sobre más de 2 acres de césped nivelado que es absolutamente perfecto para picnics, fogatas o juegos de wiffle ball o corn-hole. Con una ubicación central, "Rise & Wine" está situado al norte de Dresden Village, en el lado occidental del lago Seneca. Se encuentra a poca distancia a pie de la bodega Anthony Road, los viñedos Seneca Shore y Serenity y muy cerca de los viñedos Fox Run, la granja Climbing Bines Hop Farm y el Dairyman Diner, uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en la zona.

The house was perfect for our family, including our pups. Plenty of room for us, love the open concept, bedrooms big and comfy, the deck was great, watching the sun set over the lake, and morning coffee watching the horses! Perfect location, very centralized. Owners checked in on us to make sure our stay was a happy one, and it was!

One of the cleanest properties we've stayed at. View of the lake was great. Even more special were the horses on the adjacent property that came right up to the property line. Perfect for a get away with our daughter and her fiance for a long weekend of wine tasting on Seneca Lake.

We really enjoyed here. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions and help us out. The property is just as described. We had 3 adult couples and 3 kids ages 15 mos, 2 & 6 and they loved having space to run around and play. The view from the deck was spectacular and we enjoyed sitting out in the evenings. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect stay

We had a great stay at Rise and wine. The house was as exactly what we needed for our last summer vacation. The location is perfect and the kids loved seeing the horses in the backyard. This place was so beautiful and was a treat.

Family wedding weekend

We booked this home for our family for our nephews wedding in Geneva. The location was convenient to both Geneva and Penn Yan. The open concept main room worked well for our group. We really enjoyed the spacious deck, and views of the lake.

Great Long Weekend Getaway!

Nice property with great lake views. An easy drive to either Watkins Glen or Geneva and plenty of wineries and breweries. The hosts were attentive and helpful. Some of the communication suggested to bring your own drinking water, but we had no issues at all with the on-site well water. Would stay again!

Neighbors Long Weekend

We spent the weekend with neighbors! Had a great time, despite the weather not being optimal for a beach day. Loved being on the bay in peace and quiet, while also being close enough to town to visit boardwalks and fishing.

Very nice property. Lovely farm with horses next door. Owner was kind to let us bring our greyhounds. They loved walking on the expansive property, and were keenly interested in the “Big Greyhound” horses next door :)

Beautiful location! Gorgeous sunrises!

We had a great girls weekend! The house is incredibly spacious! The kitchen is great for cooking and entertaining. We cooked a nice meal one night and then went to Ports Cafe for dinner the next. Morning coffee on the big deck looking at the lake was amazing!! It was a great weekend and we look forward to coming back again.

Wine Trip

Rise and Wine was EXACTLY what we expected, based off of pictures and reviews. It perfectly suited our party of 10 and was definitely the perfect place for us to stay. The weather was perfect for morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake and the horses in the pasture below. At night, the fire pit was the perfect way to end the evening. The open floor plan and large bedrooms accommodated our party as well. Everyone loved it!

A DIAMOND IN SENACA LAKES WINE COUNTRY

Nine two-legged and one four-legged family members gathered at this beautiful home to continue our Celebration og Life for my husband, their sibling and uncle. The setting, house, deck, fire pit, furnishings and stocked items were perfect. We wanted for nothing. Each of us felt we were wrapped in a warm hug just sitting in the house or on the deck. Karen was wonderful and only a text away if we needed anything. Can't recommend this home highly enough do to it and management justice. Thank you so much for making a sad and difficult gathering one we will always remember with gratitude and lits of smiles!

Great house with great views

We had 4 couples in this house and it was perfect. We had an issue with the deck being redone earlier than expected so we couldn't hang on it, but we were refunded $$ without even having to complain. That is a sign of a well run place who is about satisfying their customers. The views of the Lake and the horses right in front of us were really great. You are close to so many wineries. We had dinner at Ports Cafe on Saturday night and it was SOOOOO good!! I would highly suggest hitting here for a dinner!!! We are already talking about coming back for another visit next year!!! If you complain about this place, you may be the problem! It is all you need to enjoy a nice weekend at Finger Lakes!

My grandparents purchased one of the original cottages on Seneca Lake near Dresden in the 1930’s. The cottage is on Rockhaven Beach and still in its original form.

My brothers and I grew up enjoying summers on Seneca Lake. We knew all the neighbors and enjoyed boating, water skiing, swimming, skipping beach stones, catching cray fish, telling stories about the Native Americans, picking black berries, roasting marshmallows, big family gatherings, and so much more!

As we got older and started families of our own, we each decided to purchase homes on Seneca Lake to continue our long-standing family traditions for years to come. Like us, our daughters now spend their summers at Seneca lake.

While some of us have stayed in NY, some of us have moved out of state, but Seneca Lake is still our home away from home. We like knowing that other families are able to enjoy this beautiful place and make memories to last a lifetime.

In addition to our family traditions, we are avid outdoor people and love everything about what the Finger Lakes has to offer. Incredible wineries & craft breweries, endless miles of trails, dozens of waterfalls, national forests, nearby ski resorts, amazing fishing, great antiquing, quaint little villages, incredible farm-to-table cuisine, U-Pick farms, farmers markets, etc., etc., etc...

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Without a doubt, the main reason we purchased this home was for the views the property provides of Seneca Lake and for its central location.

The 3 walls of windows & sliding glass doors that lead out to the deck offer a breathtaking view of the lake. As an added bonus, an adjoining horse farm adds pastoral views. The sunrise view is absolutely stunning.

From day one we had a vision of what this house could be, and we made plans to renovate the house so that we could have a place to entertain our family and guests that was located right "in the middle" of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. We renovated the house specifically for this purpose. We modified the floor plan by removing several interior walls & created a huge, flowing great room that combined the kitchen, dining area and family rooms together.

We invite you to come and enjoy all that the Finger Lakes has to offer, and to take advantage of our location - right "in the middle" of the famed Seneca Lake Wine Trail along the western shore of Seneca Lake.
