Beautiful Queen Anne Victorian house built in 1890 (first on street overlooking Potomac); decorated with period and antique furniture. Large front porch with rocking chairs and upstairs screened porch and stone patio with table and chairs. Attic bedroom with king bed and bath. Three bedrooms (2 queens and 1 full beds) and two full baths on second floor; bathroom with shower on main floor. Spacious kitchen, fully equipped with seating area. Large dining room seats 8. Cable TV, WiFi, DVD. Attractive yard and garden with fenced in area. Walking distance to Harpers Ferry National Park & Appalachian Trail.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Place trash (in plastic bags) and recycling (glass bottles & aluminum cans) and flattened cardboard in provided bins near back door.
Turn off all lights, including porch lights. In winter, lower heat to 60 degrees.  In summer, adjust thermostat to 76 degrees.
- In used bedrooms strip bed of sheets; put sheets in one of pillowcases and leave in hallway.  Do not remove duvet covers or shams.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We had a lovely stay. Deborah kept us apprised of everything we needed to know and sorted us for restaurant recs (more than we could have used the whole time we were there!), and extra towels for our tubing adventure. Loved the porches for time with girls - perfect for morning coffee and afternoon drinks!

Wonderful location to visit Harper’s Ferry. Old home with charm and comfort. Host was very attentive. Air conditioning was great. Kitchen well supplied. Eight of us had a great stay. Beds comfy. Having 4 bathrooms a definite plus.

Everything was wonderful. Location is perfect for us- quick walk to historic part of town but very walkable to restaurants and coffee a few blocks away- quiet and safe and convenient. House was lovely- welcoming, clean, and functional. Adorable little porches and balconies if the weather cooperates for you to enjoy! The owner was communicative and helpful. Truly nothing I would change about this stay - it’s a great value and a wonderful trip!

Gorgeous house minutes away from everything in Harper's Ferry!

Gorgeous clean house, with ample space, bathrooms, and amenities for all (including excellent AC on 90F days). The location was unbeatable to everything in Harper's Ferry. Our families had a lovely time!

Beautiful setting

Gorgeous house at a great location

Stayed here over the President's day weekend with a group of 7 of my friends. This is an absolutely gorgeous home, you can clearly see all the care that has gone into it. Deborah and Zan gave us a wonderful welcome and walkthrough and we're very responsive.

The house was really nice and clean. We loved the indoor patio upstairs. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife that was right in the front and back yards.

Truly a home away from home

My family and I stayed here for the weekend. We loved being able to walk to great restaurants and see the town without getting in the car. We had a couple of friends over for dinner one night. The kitchen had everything we needed, the dining room was perfect, and folks stayed up late visiting in the living room.

Excellent location!

Enjoying this lovely home for our vacation was easy! We traveled from Michigan to hike local attractions. The property offered a central location to Maryland, Virginia & WV for the various things on our to-do list. Quick drive to Charles Town for groceries, etc. Deborah offers a clean home, fully stocked kitchen & bathrooms, along with comfortable beds! We had a great stay.
