Rock Island Home Sweet Home

Consider this house your home away from home while you visit Rock Island. This gorgeous property features two bedrooms with a queen bed and a full bed, along with two bathrooms including a jetted bathtub. The living room offers additional space with a cozy sofa bed for extra guests.

My home is close to Rock Island State Park, Foglight Foodhouse, Cottens Marina, Cumberland Caverns, Isha Yoga, a short drive to Fall Creek Falls State Park, Stone Door in Beersheba Springs, and Short Mountain Distillery, and close to plenty of fun outdoor recreation. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families.

My home has been described as comfy, cozy, and homey - a home away from home. Enjoy amenities likes WiFi, central heat and air, a washer and dryer, iron, and hair dryer during your stay. I'm happy to assist with any questions while you stay at the house.

I do not subscribe to cable service but do have Amazon Fire TV and Wi-Fi.

Other things to note
There is no garbage service available. Guests can either transport garbage on their way out or feel free to leave it and I will remove it.

Beautiful little place. It reminds me a lot of the house i grew up in. Great hostess. No problems at all. Great place to just get away for a weekend. Highly recommend.

Simply wonderful

When we pulled up in the driveway we knew it was going to be a great experience. When we walked in the door we instantly felt at home, and we should have, because this was HER home. It was so cozy, warm, and welcoming. We wanted a place near McMinnville as we were going to do the "waterfall tour" and needing a base that was close and could not have found a better "nest". From the Thomas Kincaide prints on the walls to the amenities that she had you could not feel that you were not at home. Melanie thought of everything from measuring cups hanging from a nice country kitchen to chairs on the front porch to enjoy an evening from. When you walk in her place, and this is actually her home, you feel welcome and want to treat it as your own. She was only a text away if you needed anything and so charming. If you are ever in the area to see Cumberland Caverns or the 10 waterfalls in the area, please stay at her place. We know that you will feel like it is staying at your best friends place. The bed with her wonderful comforter is so warm and the bed and pillows are first rate, the en suite bath is just perfect. We don't know what else to say because you have to experience it for yourself. Melanie, that you for sharing your personal home with us.
