El Palmar Cottages - Unit 1

This stylish place to stay is perfect for your next beach getaway! Unit 1 can accommodate a family of four or two couples. Maximum occupancy of 6 is subject an upcharge of $10 per additional guest, per night stay.

El Palmar Cottages, the property is Beach, Third Level. Unit I of the Duplex.

When renting per the Unit, half of the duplex, Unit I and Unit II share the outdoor amenities. The outdoor amenities includes a covered patio with TV seating area, a swing, grill & tables and chairs.
The beach chairs, buggie and beach covers are set for double occupancy.

If a question or concern is NOT an emergency, you may text the owner/manager direct. If it is an urgent situation or something that you need a quick answer, please you must call. Thanks

For wifi or other pertinent information, please consult with Info Folder found on desk with other information about where to dine or visit in the beach area. Thanks You.
Min booking age 25 yrs or older. Booking guest must be a guest staying throughout the length of say. Min $500 security (refundable) deposit required with each reservation. Deposit is refundable subject to no loss or damages. Refund issued no later than 7 days after check-out. Booking guest must sign a Rental Agreement and provide a legal picture ID. The Lease will be emailed to Booking Guest via the property`s business email. Property must receive the Rental Agreement and ID min 7 days prior to arrival or earlier depending on the date of arrival. Key access code will be texted only to the Lessee no earlier than half hour before arrival time, subject to Lease Agreement & ID having been received.

Great stay!

Lovely furnishings, decoration and finishes. Convenient location. Great outdoor space. The mattresses in the 2nd bedroom were a little soft and mushy. Overall a great place to stay and vacation. Hostess is super!

Hi Janelle, thank you for complementing my decorator skills. I knew that you'd find our place is very conveniently located and I'm glad that you got to enjoy our outdoor space. As for our mattresses, all of them have a pillow top which may be what you noticed. Also in the second bedroom the mattresses are a medium firm, whereas, the room with the queen bed. is extra firm. This is a perposefull decision in order to give option to guests who may not like extra firm mattresses. Mia

Great place and location

Mia was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Location was between St. Petersburg and Clearwater. Could see the beach across the street and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets.

Fantastic, relaxing stay

Mia’s cottage was exactly what we wanted for our trip to Indian Rocks Beach. The cottage was perfectly furnished with comfortable beds, cozy living room, open kitchen and relaxing outdoor space. We were only a five minute walk from the beach and there were plenty of good restaurants nearby. Mia also went above and beyond accommodating our needs as guests and made us feel at home during our stay.

Loved it

We loved staying at Mia’s rental. The location can’t be beat. It’s one block from the beach. We always stop by the Kooky Coconut when we’re in the area, and it’s also only a block away! It was very comfortable to stay in and well thought out. We would stay here again!

My stay at El Palmar

We really had a wonderful stay at El Palmar. Our place was very clean and stocked with all the comforts of home. The garden and BBQ areas had plenty of tables and chairs, so when we had family over to cookout it worked out great. The beach and a little restaurant is a very short walk a way. Excellent Choice - Especially in this price range

This is a great property in this price range and comfortably accommodates a family of four. The décor is very tasteful and the amenities were great also. The location is perfect - beach view and easy access to the beach, restaurants and just a short drive to Clearwater Beach if you're looking for more action. Mia was such a pleasure and most helpful in every way. I highly recommend this place if you're headed to Indian Rocks Beach.

Perfect vacation rental!

Mia was an absolute joy to work with during our entire vacation rental experience. We rented her entire house (unit 1 and unit 2). We had so much space! The house was tastefully decorated, supplied with everything we needed, and very clean. The beach was a short walk across the street, which we absolutely loved! We also enjoyed spending time grilling on the awesome patio. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Indian Rocks Beach area! You won’t be disappointed!

Great Place Close to Beach & Eateries!

My fiance, his 12 yr old daughter, and fiance's parents had a blast. It was so wonderful to be so close to the beach and the wonderful beach cart, chairs, cooler and umbrellas really came in handy! We had ice cream every night which was just a very short walk away. We even were able to walk to two different restraunts and walk to a convince store which was less than half a mile away. The condo was very comfortable with kitchen nessestites to cook in. Even a waffle maker!

Lovely place, wonderful location

We were in the area for a few days to attend a couple of Phillies spring training game in Clearwater. This property was perfectly located an very easy 25 min drive away. Apartment was clean and comfortable, well appointed and private. The beach is right across Gulf Blvd and easy walk. Beach chairs and umbrella made available was a nice touch. Many great restaurants in the near vicinity - highly recommend Keegan's! Mia was easy to work with. Will definitely keep this in mind the next time we are in town, hopefully for longer than 3 nights. High recommended.

Trully a Paradise Across the Beach

Thank you so very much for a truly relaxing vacation. This place has it all! Central location, near many dining choices, convenient short walk across the street to the beach and stunning romantic sunsets. The patio oasis was the best place to relax and read my book without the interruption and noise of people walking and playing along the beach. I loved the décor, very clean and modern. We loved going to Kooky Coconuts for the best ice cream and their sandwiches were very good too. We recommend taking the trolley, which stops right in front of the duplex. We enjoyed the scenic drive up and down the whole strip of the beaches.

Family spring break

Had a great stay. Just me and my adult son. The space was very nice and fit our needs. Clean, nicely decorated and close to the beach! Just what we needed. Ask close to several restaurants. Only downside was the construction on the home next to us. They started about 7:00am and worked all day so no sleeping in and we really didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space. However we did use the grill, which was in great shape. Overall, great trip, great space. I’d gladly stay here again.

Simply amazing!!!

We had the best time staying here. The walk to the beach was so short and simple. We were able to walk there and back multiple times a day, even with 3 kids. We loved all of the amenities provided and our house was spotless upon arrival. Mia made everything so simple and easy, and even let us extend by a day because we were having so much fun. The local area is amazing. Clean beaches, cute shops, amazing food. We walked to many of our dinners and lunches, and walked to get ice cream and two separate shops. The house being in the center of all the towns was perfect because it made the drive to everything so simple when we left Indian Rocks. We had an absolute blast. We will be back. Don’t miss out on this amazing property, you won’t regret it!!!

Renter Beware

Ur unit is very nice, it's very clean, and we could tell u take pride in this property, but the EXTRA fees we got socked with to book this unit, essentially DOUBLED the actual rate. In hindsight, I made a mistake paying this much money for only a few days.

Excellent beach rental

Excellent stay! Home away from home with all of the comforts you are used to having with a great screened in porch. We stayed in Unit 1 which was facing the blvd and the shore right across the street. Sunsets were beautiful and beach access is right there. Common outdoor area is very nice and well maintained. The rental has a beach cart and sand toys, chairs, cooler and umbrellas for your use. We brought ours but we wouldn’t have needed it if we didn’t because it is all there provided. An outdoor grill and fire pit are also in the outdoor common area. The unit was in great condition with beach and nautical decor everywhere. Technology and wi if available for the unit in every room. The owner also has a binder with useful information and local guides and restaurant menus for your convenience. We had an excellent stay and plan to return.

Clean, nice, great extra's, NOT right across from the beach.

Only 2 negatives first: 1. This is not right across from the beach, but either cross the busy road and a SHORT walk North to beach access, or an even shorter walk South to cross walk, then back North to the beach access. 2. While the inside repair was great, the outside needs a little attention. Screen door not close well, latch not work well, ceiling of the carport (newly redone) coming loose (few small pieces landed on our vehicle). The GOOD: Clean, newly remodeled and looks new, nice layout, large rooms (but for OK bath size), inside picture very accurate, very quite inside (remember busy road out front !). Good beds, just about everything you would need to cook etc. The shared outside room under the side away from the road was quite quiet. Not screened, but no bugs at all while we were there, and better than pictures from chairs, fire pit, tables, hammocks AND lots of beach chairs, shades, toys AND carts to wheel to the beach. REALLY NICE.

But I also feel compelled with the need to apologize for any confuion or misunderstanding that you may've had or experienced about our location. First: There's not much space allowed on the Main Header of the listing for such a long description. For this reason, Vrbo provides a space in each listing, under the property's pictures, "ABOUT THIS RENTAL". In the second paragraph, we provide a more exact description of the property and its location in relation to the beach. "The beach is just a short walk across the street, with beach access at either corner. Also, in our pictures, the second slide is of the front balcony where the street is in clear view. Vrbo also thoroughly verifies all our information before our listing is published. As for your secondary concern, I assure you that it is being addressed. Enjoyed our stay in Indian Sands

This property met our needs perfectly! Although I knew the street we were on was a typically busy beach area, 2 lane road, at night there was very little traffic and the area was pretty quiet. Every block there is access to a very nice beach. Boardwalks take you to the sand and the walk is about 100 feet to very calm gulf water. There are pedestrian crosswalks with flashing lights every block or so to cross the street. There are no lifeguards and no dogs are allowed. This is also a turtle nesting sanctuary from May-Sept. with lighting restrictions. We enjoyed Unit One. Linens were provided, as was a nice set of cookware, utensils and dishware. Martini and wine glasses were also available. Dishwasher soap, kitchen towels and paper towels were also provided. We felt that the owner provided things you need when you first arrive. We cook our meals traveling and this unit had a nice, big, clean refrigerator and stove/oven unit. The outside area had 2 glass top tables, plenty of chairs, a working gas grill, firepit and lots of beach accessories were available. We needed ac a couple of days and the heater and ac worked quietly and efficiently. The unit is very nicely decorated and our dog was welcome with a non refundable fee. The owner was easy to get ahold of when we had some questions. This was a wonderful stay for us and should we return to Indian Rocks we hipe staying at this property again.

Can't Say Enough Nice Things About El Palmar Cottage and Mia

I have stayed in a many VRBO properties over the years, and this ranks as one of the best we've ever visited. My husband, sister and I, along with two senior dogs, spent a week at El Palmar Cottage. The photos are great; the cottage is even better! It is one of the best appointed properties we have ever stayed at. It was beautifully appointed and decorated, clean as a whistle, and conveniently located. Sadly, the weather was less than ideal (cold, windy), but we were perfectly happy to cocoon inside. We cooked quite a few meals ourselves and found the kitchen to be one of the best-stocked we've ever visited. On top of a thoughtfully decorated and laid out space, this was also the most welcoming VRBO for dogs we have ever visited. There was a padded dog blanket in the living room (in a basket marked "Woof") and plenty of extra blankets in a second basket. Here was the part we did not expect: the cottage is literally right around the corner from a community dog park that has its own shower and doggie shampoo! We met a lot of nice local dogs and owners during daily visits to the park. The lounging area underneath the cottage was terrific, too. It was just a shame that the cold weather drove us indoors when the sun set. Mia could not have been nicer and more helpful in communicating with us during booking, check-in and check-out. I was so over the moon with the cottage when we arrived that I sent her a text telling her how beautiful it was. Thank you again, Mia. I am only sorry we never got to meet face-to-face so I could thank you in person for creating such a lovely and welcoming getaway!

IRB stay

Clean vintage cottage close to beach and nature preserve. Traffic noise due to proximity of Gulf Blvd. It was only a concern when on patio. Nice ‘hang-out ‘ area in back. Mia was very accommodating.

Great proximity to the beach!!

We loved the location of this property. We crossed the street and walked a half block and we were on the beach!! The property was clean and spacious. There were chairs, umbrellas, coolers and carts that made the time at the beach even more relaxing. Mia was available to us and responded to texts quickly. I’d stay again if I come back to this area.

Great Week!

We had a great week. Everything we needed. Great location. Many of the restaurants we enjoy within a 1/2 mile. Short stroll to the beach. Dog Park a block away. Only problem is we had to go home after just one week.
