About this property

Welcome to the Brick Pearl!! This immaculate home in the middle of Isle of Palms has it all! With 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, the open concept living room/dinning area & kitchen offers the perfect setting for family gatherings or friends looking to reunite!
Their is a private spa and pool in the backyard (the spa is heated but the pool is not. There are not pool lights.)
Enjoy your morning coffee or have dinner on the screen porch overlooking the private pool & hot tub. The large enclosed outdoor shower is perfect after a fun day on the sand.
Each bedroom has has a shabby chic decor and modern furniture.
All furnishings in living room, screened porch, and dinning area are new as of 2023 as well as a brand new King Bed in the master.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home, new stainless steel appliances and fixtures. The home is professionally cleaned between each guest including extra precautions in light of recent events.
The home is handicap accessible. There are ramps to both the front and back entrances. One bedroom has an expanded door to fit wheelchairs and the bath also has an expanded door with hand rails for the shower/tub.
The home is located on 24th Ave, Isle of Palms which is a quiet street only 3 blocks to the beach. (5 minute walk)

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel and hand towel per guest the home sleeps. Pool towels are provided but we do not provide beach chairs.
Pool cleaning: We get the pool cleaned every Monday and Friday, extra cleanings cannot be accommodated but there is a skimmer net that can be used as you see fit.

*The exterior of this home was painted white in 2023 and we are waiting for a good time to take new pictures.

Weekend beach/golf trip

A Great Getaway

The whole experience was wonderful. The five bedrooms provided our extended family of 7 with spacious comfortable lodging. The pool and hot tub were a BIG hit with my grandchildren, even in November. The location was easy to access and close enough to the beach that a very short golf cart ride had us all there. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great Place to Stay!

The house was just as described and was very clean upon arrival. The pool was clean, just had to skim some fresh leaves out of it. Access was easy to get into the home. Property manager was very responsive and answered all my questions promptly. Very nice! The only problem we ran into was that the TV in the living room did not cooperate and it was difficult to figure out how to change the input and find the source to watch TV. We eventually made it work, but the remotes were either out of battery or did not work at all. The only other thing was the bunk beds in the bedroom were not very sturdy. We had adults sleeping in them, but they were not comfortable doing so since they were worried about the structural integrity of the beds. For children or teens, this would not be an issues at all! Overall, great stay and we will keep this place in mind for future stays!

Late Summer getaway

My family and I booked our accommodations with this property only a week before our stay. Our original accommodations were cancelled a week before our vacation due to maintenance issues on the original booking we were told. Obviously we were frantic about the last minute cancellation, but I believe we landed exactly where we were suppose to be. The owners were quick to respond, super accommodating, and provided very clear and precise instructions for check in, and check out. The homes living space was spacious but all on one level which we found perfect for us. It allowed for lots of family time, but also offered plenty space for a little quiet time when needed without completely unplugging. We didn’t use all 5 bedrooms but it was nice having the option to spread out, and we had no complaints with the mattress or bedding. We all slept comfortably. The home was fully equipped. No need to really take anything with you. Screened porch and outdoor space were beautiful. Weather wasn’t ideal during our stay but the heated spa pool was a huge bonus. The location was great, very quiet, and no more than 5-6 minute walk to the beach. My family and I look forward to our next stay. Best Regards, Jackie Patterson

Amazing

Our stay was great. The pool was perfect, clean, and there was plenty of sitting space outside. The house was great. I would have loved beach chairs being at the house or a beach umbrella, but we ended up only doing one beach day and one pool day so it was okay! The couch was so comfortable and fit everyone that stayed in the house for us to watch movies and relax. The beds were comfortable as well. The table was a great size for eating dinner and the outside porch was another bonus sitting space. The communication with the property owner was great. I would definitely come back!

Into each life some rain must fall

We were in Charleston on a college visit with our son and decided to stay at the beach. Unfortunately, because of hurricane Debbie, our stay was cut short and we needed to leave. The host, Tyler, was very accommodating and even refunded one nights stay! Totally unexpected - Thank you! This beach house is well maintained, clean with plenty of room. Highly recommend this property!

Great getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The pool and outside area was our favorite spot and the kiddos especially after a hot walk back from the beach. Hot tub gets HOT quickly so you aren’t waiting long at all to use it. Beds were comfy and kitchen had everything we needed for the week. Plenty of dishes etc for 9 of us. Walk to the beach was about 10 minutes. Not bad but if you have someone with difficulty walking too far I would highly suggest renting a golf cart for the week or just driving them down to the beach access. We didn’t find parking there a problem. Host was very responsive to any questions or needs that arose.

A Really Wonderful Place

So we stayed here in July 2024. (And are hoping to return again) E-Z beach access-about a 6 min walk. We walked some/drove some. All in our family group LOVED this property. We have come to IOP for 40 years-this was one of the best properties for the money. The inside was immaculate, and made for very comfy vacation living. Sweet kitchen and pantry, large family/ TV room, dining table for 10-12. Bedrooms all great(Master suite was off- the-charts)! We loved the pool in the backyard - one of the nicest backyards we have seen in our travels. Communication with owners stellar. Not much not to love about this one. All families want to return. Much thanks to the owners for their graciousness!. Peace :-)

Great holiday experience

The house was adorable and was within a reasonable walking distance from the beach. In the evenings we had a great time grilling out by the pool. Near good restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the house was furnished with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Moms weekend getaway

Our group had a wonderful stay at this IOP gem. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were well-appointed for us. Everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival. We had relaxing mornings and evenings on the screened-in porch, and enjoyed the outdoor pool and spa space during the days. And it was such a short walk to the beach! Overall, this space is a true gem on IOP and we hope to return in the future!

Family wedding

Everyone enjoyed the house and happy we could find one with no stairs, as we had a 97 year old with us. The weather didn’t cooperate to use the pool, but the hot tub was a big hit. Thanks Tyler, for being so easy to communicate with, and we are grateful you were able to ship the things we left at the house.

Great Family Stay

This home was exactly as advertised and made our first stay in South Carolina enjoyable. Myself (9 months pregnant) and my husband (30s), stayed with my parents (60s) and grandmother (90s) comfortably with plenty of room and accommodations available. The location made access to the beach easy and walkable and a short drive to lots of great restaurants and bars. On the third day of our stay, the property manager informed us that the spa heater was broken, but would be providing a refund to compensate. The pool was not clean, but considering the 1x/week cleaning and wind/rain storms when we arrived, it was understandable and we were able to use the tools available to clean the surface of debris for use. Overall, would recommend and would stay at this location again in the future.
