Love the water? Spacious waterfront home with an unparalleled view of the Albemarle Sound. Come escape to this retreat and forget your worries while paddle-boarding on the sound, kayaking along beautiful Salmon Creek, hiking in one of NC's newest parks, and just relaxing and enjoying the ever changing water view on a huge screened porch. Short drive to amazing restaurants in Historic Edenton. Ping pong table, gas fireplace, commercial grade 6-burner gas stove, and jetted bathtub!

Just steps from the porch stairs, you'll find a lawn sloping to a private deck with stairs into the water. Wander into the gradually sloping water to fish as the sun rises or float as the sun sets. Enjoy the views from the enormous screened porch complete with five ceiling fans and comfortable seating for entertaining, dining, and lounging.

Inside in the main living room, enjoy a stereo system complete with record player, a 55-inch TV, and a mini-bar with dedicated sink. Gaze at water views through floor to ceiling windows from the living room, dining room and kitchen.

The cooks in your group will find a well-appointed kitchen with specialty appliances, large refrigerator, and coffee maket. A large gas grill next to the garage opens further culinary opportunities, perhaps for the catch of the day.

Floor plan includes a large primary bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite large bathroom with jetted tub and shower on the main floor, Two bedrooms with plush new carpeting upstairs include one with two twin beds and one with a queen. Find a full bath with bathtub in the upstairs hall opposite the interior balcony with stunning water views.

On the main floor you'll also find a separate half-bath with water views, a washer and dryer, and a den with a brand new sofabed that sleeps an additional two guests.

Jeff the host was wonderful! The house was clean and beds were comfy. The kitchen had every pot and appliance needed. The porch is very large with a gorgeous view of the sound. Will definitely stay again if in the area. We had a great time exploring OBX which is only a 90 min drive away! We also saw a pair of bald eagles everyday in tree in water in back.

We enjoyed everything about our stay, the house was beautiful and perfect for entertaining our local family. We all enjoyed fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. It was a great location. And we had a rainbow on our first and last day there

Shortened Stay

We had a couple of issues with the house but the owner was FANTASTIC and made everything more than right bending over backwards to help us out especially when my wife became ill at the last minute. Would rent here again in a minute. Beautiful location! Great communication!

The property, both the house and the grounds, were impeccable. Clean, user friendly, and amazing. Jeff was very easy to communicate with during our stay for 1 week. We totally enjoyed the peace and quiet while listening to the sounds of nature. We loved playing table tennis on the porch which, by the way, is completely screened in. Not 1 bug or gnat gets in. Very very nice amd we will definitely be staying here again.

Peaceful Getaway

This was a nice peaceful house with spacious bedrooms and closets. The porch was by far the most used part of the house for us! A great view over the water on one side and this beautiful view of a field and forest on the other side! We got to see deer and even a spotted bear! Easy access into the water at the house but also just a short drive to Bertie Beach which we loved. We went into Edenton and had to try both coffee shops and the Italian restaurant. It was very charming and everyone was so nice! Would love to return!
