NEW, built in 2023! Welcome to The Serenity Lake Hutch, your home away from home! If you are searching for the perfect beach vacation spot, your search is over. Located in the heart of Port Clinton and the Lake Erie Islands, this New Ranch style cottage encompasses everything you would expect in a lakeview home. You will be very close to the Jet Express to enjoy a day of Island hopping and fun! Less than 2 minutes from the ferry as well as downtown Port Clinton for live weekend music and festivals throughout the summer.
Entering the home, you are greeted with a large open floor plan, with tall ceilings, premium furnishings and bright airy windows offering lake views. There is a spacious well-equipped Kitchen and dining room seating for 6. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The primary bedroom is a king size bed with en suite bath. The soaking Tub is great for relaxing and sipping some local wine. The second bedroom includes a queen sized bed and large closet. The 3rd bedroom includes double sized bunk beds to sleep all the kids. The second bathroom is great for larger groups with a full tub/shower.
From the Living room you can get a great view of the park and lake. 3 doors down from the public beach access in Port Clinton with everyone’s beach side enjoyment. The sandy bottom and gradual sloping water depth allow for some of the best swimming in the area. This is the perfect place to sit under the stars with a cocktail while catching glimpses of shooting stars. Cedar Point is about 19 miles away making this location great for a day at the park. This house can also be rented with the house next door to sleep up to 16 total guests for a total of 6 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Please send an inquiry about booking both homes.

Great Location/Beautiful Home

Had a great 5-day stay in this beautiful home. It was immaculate and well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen. Comfortable living area and beds. Great location for families with children, with a great park across the street and only 1/2 block to the beach.

This house is absolutely lovely! It was a perfect home away from home. The owners were great at communicating and responded promptly to any messages. The home is across the street from a great park and just up the street from beach access to Lake Erie. This was great for my family and had all the amenities we could have ever needed.

We had three generations stay at this lovely, clean, spacious property. The open plan worked well for cooking, visiting and keeping our eye on the toddler. The neighborhood was quiet, away from the bustle from the carnival (Port Clinton Pirate Festival) but within walking distance of the restaurants. The Most Valuable Player was the amazing playground across the street

Excellent accommodations and location!

The Lake Erie Serenity Hutch is such a great home! New, very clean, and spacious! Kitchen had all the amenities we needed. Shopping is very close by so it was no trouble getting stocked up once we checked in. Being able to play right across the street at the very well equipped playground with my grandchildren was delightful. And the beach was just steps away as well! Neighborhood was quiet, not busy. Parking at the house or on the street was a nice convenience. The owners are helpful with information and reachable with any concerns. I will definitely come back to this home!

Great house in a great location

This house is immaculate! We walked in and were immediately impressed by how tidy and beautiful the home is. Truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to cook meals there if you choose to. And the location is perfect: a quick drive to the ferry to get to the islands, Cedar Point isn't too far, and if you want to stay close, the beach that's walking distance makes for a fun day, too. Great for kids with the park/playground right across the street as well! The host is communicative and responsive. 10/10 would stay at this home again!

Fall Break Fun

The house was beautiful, comfortable, and well furnished. The soaker tub was very enjoyable and a great way to relax. The park across the street was convenient for the kids to play and be able to keep an eye on them while preparing meals. The close beach access was also very nice. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great home across from playground

We enjoyed a weekend at the house and found it to be extremely well stocked, clean, and comfortable. We loved having a playground across the street with a wide variety of accessible equipment, and we loved being a short walk from the beach where we collected shells. The house was perfect for gathering together after a busy day outside - we loved the comfortable sectional. Lots of little things like kid dishes were greatly appreciated by our kids!

Weekend family stay

Our family stayed at the Serenity Hutch with two kids-ages 6 and 8. We chose the site specifically for its proximity to the beach and a great playground and park directly across the street. Port Clinton’s main beach and the Jet Express was a five minute drive away. The house itself was ideal for us: fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms and a laundry room, plenty of space to eat in. We all agreed we would love to come back for another stay.

Excellent option for families

Since we had children and toddlers, the proximity to the beach, and a super fun playground, was perfect. The location is clean and the people are friendly. The park across the street is shady with lots of picnic tables.The house is in perfect condition. The open kitchen and family room make hanging out with family easy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals at home. The master bedroom and bath are impressive. I’m picky about mattresses and I found the bed to be comfortable. Kids loved the full-size bunk bed. There’s a laundry room for use by guests. All the decor is well done. The owner even left some toys and sand toys for the kids, which especially entertained my toddler. The only thing missing was easy access to the backyard patio so we didn’t hang out there at all. All in all a great stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The house is beautiful. The rooms are nice. Bunk beds would be great for kids, little difficult for adults. Beautifully decorated. Great location. Easy access to ferry and downtown. Would definitely rent again.

The Beach Hutch provides the following amenities:

Starter supply of Toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), 1 Roll of Paper towels. Guests are responsible for supplying their own supplies beyond the starter supply.
Trash bags, Dish and Dishwasher soap, and Laundry soap are provided to accommodate the cleaning standards during your stay as well as light cleaning supplies necessary to maintain cleanliness of accommodation.
Bed Linens. Sheets and a light blanket are provided and set out for Guests prior to arrival. Pillows are provided as follows- Queen/King Beds- 2 pillows. Twin beds- 1 pillow. Additional pillows or heavier comforters are the Guest's responsibility.
Bath/Kitchen Towels. 8 full sized bath towels, 2 Hand towels, 2 washcloths, 1 floor bath mat towels are provided. Additional bath towels and beach towels are the Guest’s responsibility.
One kitchen towel, sponge and oven mitt is provided.

Wi-fi and TV streaming services. Directions and passwords are located in the accommodation.
Clothes Washer and Dryer and Iron.
If any of these supplies are missing, please let us know the day of your arrival.
