I am a local! Born and raised at the beach! A few years ago, just before I retired, I built a new beach house at the oceanfront, where my means of transportation from the Spring until the Fall is my beach cruiser. I recently decided to obtain another beach cottage, built by the same builder, so I can enjoy sharing my hometown and the simple beach lifestyle with others. Why Kathy Runkle chose Northeast Virginia Beach
I built my beach house and then bought this similar property because I love the Old Beach area and want to share my hometown with others. An early morning stroll down the boardwalk to watch the sunrise or a casual bike ride in the evening to listen to the local bands, makes for a relaxed lifestyle. I'll be excited to share where the locals eat and shop, steering you away from the tourist "traps". I personally inspect the home before every guest arrives to ensure everything is in pristene condition for my next guests and I am readily available throughout the week, if you need any assistance. This beach house is nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation!
What makes this House unique
The location cannot be beat! The beach and boardwalk are less than 2 blocks away! There is no need to pack up the car and drive to the beach, as you can't park any closer! Speaking of parking...the driveway holds 4 cars and I can assist with parking on the street if necessary! The beach house is perfect for families with kids, as one huge bedroom has 6 bunk beds! The Virginia Aquarium is only a few miles away. There are lots of planned activities and concerts at the beach, all within walking distance. The fishing center at Rudee Inlet is only a couple of miles away. Great shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. A new indoor skydiving adventure just opened in 2015, and is only 1 block away. This is the perfect beach rental because it is new, nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. And...as a local, I'm available to share my knowledge of the area to enhance your vacation.
