'Casa Palmillas' one of the original early Lake Havasu estates in the fancy 'residential estates' neighborhood Wood Lane of south Lake Havasu City. The home sits on nearly a 1/2 acre of quiet huge palm trees and gardens, surrounding a large newer pool with diving board and separate spa. Close to shopping and the lake, with plenty of parking, the home sleeps 9 without crowding. 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. $388 a day... still available for holiday weekends....no wild childs...girls gone wild frat parties...please...families....Even if you stay only 2 nights..this deal lets you come Friday early arrive mid- morning and leave late of Sunday after a long day at the Lake or playing golf. $150/minimum cleaning fee required. No 'clean it myself' option...it just doesn't work...sorry...Normal rates $388 a day; 3 day minimum. Worth every penny, gets all booked up, check motel summer rates.....Summer holidays, .4 day minimum. Cheaper than hotels and much much nicer.
Note bed count: 1 King Master with private bath, tub and shower; 1 Queen private bedroom and bath; 2 more connected bedrooms with bath and 3 twins and a double bunk so 5 twins; mats there for small kids carpet camping...but 9 adults.

I coimpleted the total renovation of this estate property in 2006...using all my experience and professional skills. I offer to rent to families, I prefer not to rent to large 'frat party' groups that will annoy the neighbors or damage the house. I like folks that treat this home like their own home...many of my guests this year are returnees....thanks $388 a day 3 day minimum 4 day minimum on big Holiday weekends same price as two hotel rooms. Late check out OK if not booked after....

Palms, pool, spa..golf course...every bell and whistle. Already being leased for weeks periods for this spring and summer. Folks always come back. Winter now available on a limited basis..... sleeps 9 in beds....kids on the floor.. We just did a full floor and tile renovation. New kitchens and baths......only showers to be done this year. It was the perfect house for our family reunion.
This house was in a great neighborhood. Close to the Grocery Store and restaurants. It was an easy drive to get to Lake Havasu State park.
We enjoyed the pool and the spa. The house is older and has a few quirks but it is clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
This house is awesome! Very clean home! We spent the entire time in the backyard. The backyard is everything you want when it comes to a Vacation Rental! Huge pool, grill, outdoor furniture, etc.
Great price for Havasu!
I will def try to book this place again if it is available next time I'm in Havasu.
Lacks cleanliness and organization
Joe is a nice guy. We agree with other reviews, he's attentive and accommodating.
However, two major issues with the home:
1) The cleanliness was well below average. To remedy this issue, Joe hired cleaners to get the home to a state that was tolerable. The cleaners were apathetic.
2) The home sleeps 9 in beds, not 12 like the listing states. Had to dig through multiple closets to find enough bedding and our guests had to sleep on the floor.
The pool and backyard was the redeeming feature for our stay.
I guess if you are on VRBO/Homeaway long enough you get a mediocre review.
1). Scott was very nice, another lady maybe the wife called me and really read me down.
She seemed to want a discount for her imagined cleanliness issues.
The master shower had a soap streak the maids had missed, the kitchen floor she said was dirty was actually just the natural marks in the new travertine marble floor, unfortunate
...some look like coke and ketchup spills (I have labeled them now).
The bed count is clearly marked, there are 5 twins. a queen and a king.
People always want to bring kids and we have floor mats.
I had the maid service come back and paid them to redo the house. They only charged me $50.00.....full clean is $150 (6 hours at $25).
I sent there deposit back immediately.
I will adjust the sleep count now (if it is really 12?) on VRBO.
Some folks are just difficult...and you do the best you can....
Please read the other reviews and look at the pictures....call me if you have any questions about the home.
No where in the listing did it say sleeps 12....I inserted ( every where I could).
Kids can carpet camp...but beds for 9.
It was clean and relaxing pool and hot tub was great all o all we had a good time

This is our 6 time staying at this beautiful home. The area is safe and very relaxing by the pool and the jacuzzi. The house is spotless clean and the owner is very attentive to our needs. I would recommend this home to anyone.
Everything you want and need in a Vacation Rental
My family really enjoyed our stay at Joe's house. His communication prior to check was great. The house was super clean and inviting when we entered the house for the 1st time. My wife had to clean up some spilled water on the carpet and was amazed that when she cleaned it up not a spot of dirt showed up on the paper towel.
The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms were great with plenty of TV's throughout the house. The big hit with everyone was the spacious backyard and the pool with diving board.
The location is great as we were just a few miles from the London Bridge and surrounding store's and restaurant's. The neighborhood was very clean and quiet.
I would highly recommend this rental to anyone and we look forward to staying at Joe's house on our next trip to Havasu.
A large rambling Meditterean home on a huge lot located on the 2nd green of the London Bridge Golf Course. Walk to the ProShop. A recent large pool and separate spa view the 29 huge old palm trees on the property. Dual air conditioning, total eco-remodel in 2006 featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, including a separate lockout area. 5 minutes to the lake, plenty of boat/boat trailer parking. This elegant home is not a 'frat party' place. It is perfect for a family that will take good care of it and treat it as their own. Our guests always come back. Glorious mountain views in a quiet, high value neighborhood. Check Google maps for 2420 Wood Lane, also 'street view'. Sleeps 9 adults in 5 twins, 1 queen and 1 king.
