Couldn’t ask for more!

A charming property with all the comforts of home! Beautifully appointed! It’s rare when we can sleep well away from home but we did… great mattress, linens and comforter! Highly recommended!

Great place, good location, modern decor

It’s not easy staying in a brand new listing without reviews, but I am glad I took the chance. Beautiful modern decor, large, cozy, comfy bed, all new appliances, including full sized washer/dryer, large bathroom, and a relaxing front porch with seating for company, wrap up this quaint apartment situated between two fantastic beaches to fish and spend the day collecting shells. Host was always responsive but never intrusive. Loved our stay!

Let me start by telling you what isn’t on their listing:1. Property is on the main road so it’s noisy from traffic. 2. It’s a 2nd floor unit so if there is another person staying below you, you will hear their dog bark and any other noise they make. 3. There is a 3rd rental in the main houseWhen we arrived, our door code didn’t work. The phone number provided to call for help is out of service. Cell service is spotty so we had to drive 15 minutes to be able to pull up the app to tell them the code wasn’t working & neither was the phone number. They messaged to tell me there was a problem with the code and to use this new code but they didn’t actually provide the code. After an hour of waiting for them to respond to my message, I called VRBO who also couldn’t reach them. Finally, another renter got there who knew the owners & called them & they provided a code to get in-2 hours after check-in time with no apology. No towels hanging in the bathroom (there are actually no towel hooks at all) I open the cabinet to look for a towel and there are wadded up towels covered in hair. Contact them and they say they will fix it, they don’t bring towels until the next day around 11am. By the way, the towels are paper thin, scratchy and so short they don’t cover anything. Hair on pillow case. Couch is dirty & covered in stains. It was clear the floor wasn’t vacuumed well as there was still debris on the floor. Don’t let the pictures fool you, it’s not as nice as it appears.

As is common in many areas of the Outer Banks, cellular service can be inconsistent depending on location and carrier. However, we recognize the importance of being accessible to our guests and are taking steps to improve communication and support during arrivals. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. Guest feedback helps us identify opportunities for improvement, and we are committed to providing a better experience for future guests.
