Welcome to Goodnight "Moon". This super cute 3-bedroom 3 bath beach home, located in the desirable "Heart of Avon" is just a short walk to the beach and close to
restaurants, shopping, kayaking, the Avon Pier, Food Lion, The Haulover and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse! Light, bright, open and airy.

Inside you will find lots of spaces to relax and entertain including a very comfy sectional, separate loft area, fully stocked kitchen, decks with beautiful new Trex, ground level cook out area with picnic table and room for your group to be in the shade after a great beach day!

Outside you will find a yard and plenty of deck space with impeccable views and an outside shower that has a dressing area to ease the trips back from the beach.

We loved our stay in Avon. Overall, the property was in great proximity to the main road, beach access, local shops and eateries. The property was clean from sand, which I found to be amazing. But had stray hair all over the couches, chairs, bedding, and bathroom rugs. Many of the pots and utensils have food remnants dried on them, which was a little off putting. But appliances were evidently cleaned. We enjoyed having bathrooms connected to each bedroom and the dual porch access. The property was mostly quiet. However the HVAC very loudly cuts on in the middle of the night and that upper bedroom sways, which I’m guessing has something to do with the house being on stilts. The neighbors and community was friendly and we sincerely hope to return to OBX and Ocracoke Island!

The house was great! Very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds and furniture. The decks were very enjoyable and the sunset was nice to see over the trees. We would definitely stay again!

A/C unit went out 2 days into our stay. Rental Agency was very accommodating with the situation. Microwave quit right in the middle of fixing dinner but we just switched to the oven (was trying not to use it due to no a/c). This was also reported. Both inconveniences but did not detract from our stay. Great nights were had on the front deck. Sleeping arrangements were perfect. Will definitely consider booking again on any future trips
