A true gem of a home, this 1930 stone cottage has 20" solid granite walls with curved plaster ceilings, elegant design, firepit, spa-like bathrooms, and a robustly outfitted kitchen. Recently designed by Kaemingk Collection, this home is curated for those discerning travelers looking for that hard to find elegant space to relax, dine, and enjoy nature.

    The Stone Cottage of Ferndale

    This is a beautiful, clean and comfortable home stocked with everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend. The property is quiet and secluded but only a few minutes to town and lots of other fun, interesting and beautiful places to visit.

    We had the best girls weekend!! We enjoyed our stay so much. A lot of thought and design expertise went into this beautiful cottage! It’s clear that the hosts want their guests to be perfectly pleased with their stay, they even left us fresh flowers in almost every room!

    The host was very accommodating, and the space was beyond compare for this type of lodging!This is by far the nicest place I've stayed. The quality of the remodel was of the highest quality and the interior design was very well done. The overall experience was wonderful and as an architecture and interior design firm owner, I encourage the owners to continue they're efforts of finding housing gems and making them shine again!Well done and all the best in your continued efforts.     Brandt is exceptionally responsive and the cottage is like staying in a home magazine layout just before a photo-shoot. If you like being insolated without being isolated, then this is a great spot. We had intended to do day trips and became happy to just enjoy the space. The home had everything we needed and a few things we wouldn't have anticipated. We have rented homes in several countries and this would be on our list to revisit.
