チャッカナットベイコテージは、ビーチからすぐ近くで、風光明媚なチャッカナットドライブを下って、ワシントン州ベリンガムの歴史あるフェアヘイブンまですぐです。 ロマンティックな休暇を必要とするカップルや、カヤックに水を必要とするアウトドア愛好家や、フロントドアやバックドアをサイクリングやハイキングするための何マイルものトレイルに最適です。

このビーチに面したコテージは、サリッシュ海の手つかずの海抜40フィートの絶壁に位置し、チャッカナット湾、ベリンガム湾、サンファン諸島の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができます。 サンセットビューは一年中壮観です！

This place is a treasure. The bed was comfy with many pillow and blanket options. Great kitchen with anything you could need. The view was amazing and just an all-around great place to stay. Mere minutes from Fairhaven, which is a cute little part of Bellingham to explore. The hosts were warm and friendly.

Wonderful, chill alternative to downtown Bham/Fairhaven. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. We saw seals and otters from the property's window. As noted in the description, there is a train that goes by - I thought it was cool.

Where the hot is located is a dirty mess.no place to sit not clean at all.they can watch you in the hot tub from there down stairs windows..they drained the hot the day before we was to leave .1400 dollers for the hot tub they didn't want the bubbles on .he said he's pays water so lease don't use much.

Had a great stay at Sarah and Johns cottage. I loved the open layout and beautiful setting! The cottage was clean, bed comfortable, and the bluetooth speaker was a nice touch. The location is perfect - easy access to hiking trails, the water, and town. The trains weren't a bother. The hosts communicated well. I hope to stay again!

The property and owner were lovely, friendly and helpful. Nothing beats the view of a sunset right from the beach! Ceiling fans were helpful on a toasty day. We would love to visit again!

Our stay at John's cottage was perfect. It was quiet, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved sitting down by the water to read our books and watch the sunsets. He was a lovely host and made sure we had everything we needed.

Adorable cottage in a perfect location

We loved everything about our stay, especially the use of the kayak. We were fortunate to have a warm sunny day in July and we kayaked out to Chuckanut island and saw many seals and birds. The next day, we hiked to the top of Chuckanut mountain and got views of Mt Baker. The cottage had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. John was so friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We would love to visit again.

Beach House Stay

Maybe different from some other travelers but all my wife and I cared about was getting away from the kids for a couple days. Mission accomplished. This was a perfect size for two. Good location close to Bow and Fairhaven. Fairhaven is where we did dinners and shopping. We used the hot tub and and beach access. There is a train very close to the property which runs every 1-2 hours or so but seems like a break during the night. The second night we were more used to it. It runs along the coast and into Canadian and is essentially just part of the landscape in this area. We like to travel around and try new things and this was a fun one for us.

Chuckanut Paradise

Guest cabin felt very private, with large storm windows facing out to Chuckanut Bay. The immaculate cabin was surprisingly spacious, with beautiful bright woodwork throughout, outfitted with good quality linens and a comfortable bed. There was easy access down to the water, where we enjoyed sipping our morning coffees, while sitting on a big rock at the waters edge. The owner was friendly and on site at the main house next-door, but was laid-back and didn’t hover or have a long list of rules. It felt like we had the property to ourselves. I hope to return in the summer months.

Very cozy cabin!

My sister and I enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cabin in a beautiful location. It was high tide when we arrived and we were happily surprised when the beach appeared ready for exploring the next morning! Easy to find location off of Chuckanut Drive, and convenient to Bellingham.

A remarkable play to stay

Listing is accurate in all respects. Book with confidence. Nice hosts. As much privacy or interaction that you need.easy entry for kayaking if you like. Absolutely clean and well equipped ( could use a new corkscrew) 😎. We knew by the end of the first day we’ll be coming back

I started working at a very young age and eventually owned and ran a large local residential construction company. I designed and built many local homes. Presently I am concentrating my efforts on our VRBO as well as clients that need my expertise. My wife has also worked her way up through the Medical Profession and currently works for a NW Native Tribe.

After living in the Northwest for many years in several locations we have settled in one of the very best. Many locals know it as the 'Bahamas of Bellingham'. You can see what they mean by checking out the garden. The waterfront opportunities our property provides has been limitless, more than we could explore in our lifetime! One of our favorite things to do is just sit and watch what the change in tide brings; the magnificent sunsets, weather over the water, the birds and boats.

Whatcom county is a wonderful place to recreate but it is also is a great community. It has great environmental consciousness and diversity. WWU contributes a great deal to the community. It is a mountain bike destination with one of the greatest jewels of the region right out front, the San Juan Islands. Sunsets at our property are truly some of the best. A short paddle from the beach is Chuckanut Island, a Nature Conservancy island, with nesting seabirds and fine white shell beaches at low tide. Along the way to the Island you will likely spot an Eagle, Blue Heron, Otter or a Seal that share this wonderful bay with us. The island environment is protected so only day visitors are allowed.
In addition to Chuckanut Mt., nearby Galbraith mountain has great trails for mt. biking and hiking. Hang gliders land on the Bow valley just off Chuckanut drive. Fairhaven is a stone's throw from the property and offers many great options for eating out. Restaurants along Chuckanut Drive offer seafood and other gourmet meals for a special dining experience and offer great romance too. Those that wish to cook their own food, the kitchen is fully appointed and if anything extra is needed we may have it at our house. We love the Taylor Shellfish Farm which is a few minutes from the house and there is a Wednesday Farmer's market in Fairhaven for fresh produce and local arts and crafts. Haggen's grocery, a NWFRESH store, is in nearby Fairhaven as well and offers many organic choices.
