LA ZONA VIVA Y LA COCINA INTERIOR ...

En el interior, la sala de estar principal de THE ROYAL COMPOUND tiene cuatro juegos de puertas francesas con grandes travesaños que llenan todo el espacio de luz. LA PISCINA PRIVADA Y LA COCINA AL AIRE LIBRE ....

El área de la piscina de THE ROYAL COMPOUND es única. El amplio patio que rodea la piscina está pavimentado en travertino, con espacio para ocho tumbonas. Luego, está el porche de estilo pabellón que parece flotar sobre la gran piscina, con suficientes asientos para todo el grupo debajo de los ventiladores de techo al aire libre que cuelgan del techo abovedado del pabellón. La piscina tiene una cascada que fluye desde el borde del porche. Muy dramático. Beautiful house with two additional bungalows. Perfect for a large group with the benefit of privacy. Best location. Right in the center of everything.

Fantastic outdoor oasis

This house was top quality throughout and the management team was excellent. Highly recommend for families. Everything was clean and worked well. Pool was fantastic. I personally didn't love being in the Truman Complex because of the locked gates, but others may love it. It just means you have a slightly longer walk home from all but the Green Parrot after 10 pm.

Amazing Home

The Admirals Compound was 10 STARS!!! Great place to stay and Last Key was amazing property management company. The house has everything you need and on an Island with so much going on around you, The Admirals Compound is a private oasis close to everything.

Calming outside space

The highlight of this property is the outdoor space next to the pool. The family spent a lot of time reading me and relaxing outside.

Tropic Oasis

Truly an amazing property. From the main house to the two separate master bedroom buildings. Unbelievable outdoor kitchen and bar complete with all appliances, stainless BBQ grill and wall mounted tv. Fully furnished gazebo with fans next to a spectacular pool with waterfall. Very well landscaped with lush vegetation, bamboo, and 90’ Coconut Palms making the whole Compound very secluded. Inside of the main house was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. All appliances were high end and were a pleasure to use. The whole property was very well maintained and the staff of the management company were available anytime and very efficient in every manner. The Royal Compound, along with its prime location would be a dream vacation for anyone!

Paradise in perfect location

This a perfect spot for a large family or group to relax and check out Key West. Located in a quiet gated community, the Truman Annex, this is a very private compound with a large main house with 3 bedrooms, a separate master suite house and a back cottage with queen bed and bathroom. The center of the property contains a great pool, large pergola deck and hot tub. Very quite and secluded by beautiful landscaping. Quick walk to watch the sunset on the square or to check out Duval street. One of the nicest properties we’ve ever stayed at.

This House MADE our vacation

The listing is good, but doesn't quite prepare you for just how nice this property actually is. We had 2 families stay in this house and this property is what made our vacation amazing. We had lots of activites in Key West but the kids often just wanted to come hang out at the pool and back patio as well. Overall and wonderful experience and Shel, property manager, was wonderful.

Festive stay in Key West

After canceling plans to Hawaii, we opted for a get away within driving distance. The house was awesome and a bike ride to everything. The pool offers a tranquil setting and there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy.

The Royal Compound was perfect for our visit in every way. The outdoor and indoor spaces are unrivaled, living up to the expectations set by the photos in the listing. Not apparent in the photos are the excellent, responsive service of the property manager and extremely well stocked kitchen. A perfect setting for our family Thanksgiving!

Excellent property and service

We rented the home for 9 nights and it was in excellent condition and surpassed our expectations. It is very spacious with much outdoors space, in door living space, and larger bedrooms so your group will not feel on top of each other. The extra space provided by the outdoor kitchen and outdoor living room really are enjoyable and useful. The kitchen is very well stocked for making lunches and dinners. The location is excellent for anything you would like to do in Key West. Rounding out the great experience is the management company. They are extremely organized and responsive and have a team willing to help you with anything that you need at the property and to plan any excursions or reservations - such an extra and helpful service. All in all an excellent experience.

Special Hidden Gem!!!

We have been been coming down to Key West for spring break many of years with the whole family. We always stayed at Sunset Key. We decide to change it up. We are so glad we did, this property was AMAZING!!!! It had everything we were looking for!!! Everyone had there own space with the guest suits, great outdoor living and full kitchen area, beautifully pool and backyard. We could not ask for a better location close that you can walk/bike into town but far enough to have our privacy. The house has everything you want for tropical vacation. Shel Segel from Last Key Realty was a wonderful host making sure we felt right at home. Thank you again for making family memories for us!!! See you next year

Location Location Location

Shel Segel and Last Key Realty really hit our stay at Plantation Tropicale out of the park. We stayed from 1/05/19 through 1/12/19 and loved every minute of it. A few highlights: We loved the outdoor covered area and spent many hours talking and hanging out. We watching the NFL Playoffs at he outdoor bar and the kids LOVED the very large and inviting pool. We had issues with the pool heater and Shel and team went above and beyond to make it right for us, which made a very cold pool a non issue. Thanks again to Shel and enjoy this wonderful rental as our family did!

Special place for a special time.

Our son was recently married in Key West, and we wanted a special meeting place for the many out of town relatives & guests. Plantation Tropical was the perfect choice. First of all the facility set up perfectly for a wide variety of functions, from communing around the large outdoor kitchen, lounging in the grotto-style pool, to late night chats in the awesome gazebo area. The home was versatile, comfortable, and picturesque. The photographer took full advantage the lush landscaping for exquisite pre-wedding photos, and the wedding party used varies areas of house to prepare for the event. But, it wouldn't have been the same without the terrific work of Shel Segel and the fine folks at Last Key Realty. Shel was the quintessential host, and helped us with details, provisions and recommendations, and the Last Key Concierge was there to help arrange any last minute excursions. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking for casual luxury, and a great open floor plan. Thanks again to Shel & Last Key... awesome job helping create a lasting memory.

PERFECT property with the PERFECT MANAGER!!!

We go to Key West every year for vacation and try to utilize Last Key Realty for the house we choose to stay at. This year we were lucky enough to not only locate an AMAZING property but we had the pleasure of having Shel Segel as our manager and host!! Without a doubt this property has anything and everything you could possibly want or need at your fingertips! Upon arrival, Shel was waiting for us to give the grand tour and provide us with any and all info that we might need while in Key West. Shel checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and assured us he was always a phone call or text away if we needed ANYTHING! If you are looking for the perfect house to relax, entertain, cook or just have a cocktail by the pool this is the place and your in the best hands possible with Shel!! ENJOY!

A special family vacation

Plantation Tropical was indeed a tropical paradise. The house certainly lived up to our expectations. For our Family Vacation we chose this home as our gathering place for our 26 family members. The outdoor kitchen and eating bar were superb in filling our outdoor dining needs. The pool and covered area were exceptional, and easily accommodated our family. This house was recommended by Alex at Last Key Realty for our family in the Truman Annex within easy walking distance of our 3 other Annex rental units. Shel was a gem in helping us get settled and able to answer any questions about Key West. For our restaurant dining we chose one of Shel's favorite restaurants -El Siboney, which was able to handle our family size easily, good food, and a wonderful evening. The vacation will have lasting memories for all of us. Thanks, Shel

The property was absolutely beautiful!

The property was absolutely beautiful and was ample in size to meet all our needs. Having a very private master suite on the first level as important to us and this was perfect. The location was great. Private, quiet and secure yet convenient to the water and town. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The one issue that kept me form giving it five stars is that the air conditional in the mater was not working on our arrival. Although they quickly brought in portable air conditioners that was an inconvenience.

Fabulous!!!!!

We shared a great week with friends and family. The house is so beautiful and has so many amenities, we were torn between staying put and venturing out into Key West. The pool and outside living room are where we spent most of our time. The Truman White House is literally across the street. We walked to Mallory Square, Duval St and the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor. The Truman Annex is very quiet. Thanks Shel for a memorable week.!!!!
