A Palm Tree Haven in Key West

This lovely single-family, two-story luxury home is in the prestigious Truman Annex gated community on a very private cul-de-sac. At the end of a brick drive is a beautiful french door gate house entrance to the property. Once inside this gem you will find a fabulous, heated pool with waterfall, and lush tropical foliage, wrap around porches, large balconies' and lots of doors and windows in which bring the outdoors in for the perfect island setting. This large and very comfortable 4-bedroom home is complete with designer interior finishes, crown molding, high ceilings, gourmet kitchen & plenty of space to entertain or just simply hang out.

Please note: This property will require a minimum of a 28 night stay.

Truman Annex

We loved our stay. We were there for a week and the location could not have been any better. It was a little pricy, but we made it work. We could not get a few of the fans to work.

Beautiful Get Away

We truly enjoyed this home and it worked really well for us 6! Loved the pool, the ceiling fans were fantastic, the outdoor lights were fun!! So close to everything - would definitely recommend this home and would return!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the private fenced yard, the close proximity to Duval Street, the house was perfect for the 8 of us. The pool was cold for us when we 1st got there. I contacted the office and they told us that it needed a part to turn the heat on. It was fixed on Monday and we all enjoyed the pool very much after it warmed up. The only thing we wish was for a little more sunlight in the yard during the day, but was not really a big deal. We have already talked about reserving the property for next year.

A perfect vacation

We were looking for a nice week long getaway after our plans to go to the Dominican were changed. We have always loved Key West and decided that with our two families a house made more sense than staying at a hotel. A Palm Tree Haven has been beautifully updated, it’s a spotless and comfortable home to spend a week in. The location is perfect as it is just a block off of Duval Street. We loved having the pool to cool off in and the beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room to hang out. Compass Realty was wonderful to deal with and were readily accessible to get us in and to answer any questions we might have. All in all, we would highly recommend a very enjoyable stay at Palm Tree Haven.

The house was clean and had up to date amenities. Beds were all very comfortable. During our stay a few issues did arise. What an amazing place. Zero complaints. House was super clean. Location is amazing. Outside space with pool was so relaxing. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The house was immaculate inside and outside. Privacy from the neighbors while enjoying a tropical pool paradise garden patio. Comfy living room to relax with full kitchen compliments. Quiet neighborhood just steps away from the best Key West entertainment and dining. Will be back

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was well furnished and very clean! Loved the location, pool and outdoor space. However several items did not work properly. All the ceiling can lights would flicker constantly. The ceiling fans on the front porch did not work. The electrical system was inadequate. The pool waterfall did not work. Several interior pieces of the refrigerator were broken. There was no hot water in the downstairs full bath sink. The sliding door in the master was broken. The AC would cool the upstairs very well, but not the downstairs den or bedroom. This layout did not work for 2 couples. Only one couple had a decent bedroom with en suite bathroom.

Very close to Mallory square and Front St. The only con I would have, being such a big property and allowing many guest, one parking spot is not ideal. Compass Realty did provide me with another parking spot while I was there, which was helpful.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home fit our family of 10 like a glove. Very well-appointed amenities and plenty of open space. The pool was perfect (although the water fall was inoperative.) We do Key West once a year and the location is a "10" with easy access to everywhere. Entire house was very clean. Only negative is the extremely low water pressure at the kitchen sink, but showers, etc were fine. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Saw a lot of reviews for other houses complaining about garbage trucks or roosters or partying noise, and this house has none of that, AND even better there's no tradeoff on being away from the action- everything is just a block away. Has all the amenities you would expect and more. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids and had everything we needed for a comfortable week long stay. We were happily surprised by how large the pool is, and spent many hours in the comfortable rocking chairs watching the kids play in the pool.Will definitely stay here again when returning to the Keys!
