Wonderful house and great location
We stayed in mid March for spring skiing. The house is close to the town and the market. It was well equipped which was helpful considering we cooked meals for our large group each night. The basement was great as it has a pool table, steam room and the hot tub is right out the back door. Don't forget to go outside on the upper deck in the evening to see a beautiful sun set. We had an unforeseen maintenance issue on our last evening and the management company had a person on call at the house in 30 minutes. He was friendly and knowledgeable and quickly took steps to address the issue.

We had a great time!!! The house was wonderful and well stocked so that we instantly and truly felt right at home. Looking forward to doing this again.
June 2016 Stay
This house worked great for 3 different families to share. The teens loved having the basement to themselves and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, hang out, and of course eat!
The patio was our favorite and enjoyed all the wildlife that came to visit
Spring Break 2016
Well, we've rented this house three times and this past trip had a few issues. Great house, plenty of room, hot tub was nice. The thermostats for this house were an issue...it was either extremely cold or extremely hot. Temperature would never stay constant and the thermostat would not stay on the designated temperature. Not having enough hot water at times was also plenty of annoying as well. No water pressure in the master bedroom shower for the entire week. Maintenance was prompt, but it water pressure was never fixed. Pool tables did not have any pool cues but some were brought to the house later in the week. Love the house, love Pagosa Springs but this house has some maintenance issues that need to be fixed. Also, bring your own DVD player because the house ones didn't work. We would rent this house again if they garauntee these issues are resolved.
Sorry about this review and the problems our guest had during their stay, couple of items we are addressing now, which we could not help with during their stay was the heating problem; it's in floor heat which takes time to adjust to large heating and cooling request. Heats are set at 68 degrees which are checked on before guest's arrival, power went off before they arrived which heating system needed to be reset to get started again, home was checked 2 days before arrival, system went off temperature when down over the 2 nights before their arrival, it took time for system to reheat this home same with boiler system for hot water which is on the same system. There is calcium in our water system here in Pagosa Springs that plug up shower heads periodically which make the water system slow down in bathrooms, we cleaned all the shower heads and waters faucets throughout this home during and after their stay all are work fine now. We did reimburse these guests for one night to soften the problems we had with this home and for being inconveniences for a day while we tried fixing these problems. This will never happen again sorry! All of our guest are very important to us as are our home owners, we apologize and this will not happen again. We'll be checking all home the day guest are checking in to make sure this does not happen again.

Another good time at Cedar Ridge Cabin!
This was our fifth stay at Cedar Ridge Cabin. This is a very nice place for a large family get together. This is a large, very well appointed cabin In general, we would rate this visit as being very good, but not as good as previous years. We love this place, but there were a few issues this year. In the spirit of providing feedback to enhance the enjoyment of future guests, we provide the feedback below: (Note - I provided this same feedback to the Rental Agency and they quickly responded that they would immediately look into the issues.)
On the negative side,
Thermostats / heating system did not control temperature properly in mid-February. Basement was always too cold (63-66 ºF) , no matter what the “Hold” temperature was set to. Luckily nobody slept downstairs this year. (Note - I have these same exact thermostats in my home and am familiar with their operation.) The home was rented the previous 7 nights, so it was not an issue of “the in-floor heating taking a while to come up to temperature".
Hot tub temperature could not be seen on the hot tub display. Otherwise, the Hot Tub worked fine.
Both Icemakers made very little ice; about 5 cubes per day (although the bins were pretty much full when we got there, but it looked like ice from a store); We had to go out and buy ice (and left some for the next guests).
There were only two pool cue sticks this year and there weren’t any “tips” on either one.
In the past 5 years we have stayed at Cedar Ridge cabin, there were always reasonable amounts of cooking and cleaning supplies (oil spray, sugar, vegetable oil, liquid dishwashing detergent, .... Not so this year. (Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to know that we needed to bring them this year. In all fairness, the literature says not to expect any of these items. We were just spoiled in the change from the previous four visits).
On the positive side (and improvements over the last few years):
The brand spanking new Propane barbecue grill worked well!
There was enough laundry detergent to do two loads of bed linens and towels on the morning we left to save the housekeeping team time.
There were ample dishwasher soap packets.
There were not nearly as many burned out light bulbs as there has been in the past. Kudos to the maintenance team!
Trash cans had trash bags this year!
So, in general, we had a very good time but there were some unexpected changes that we would have appreciated knowing about before our arrival.
Thermostats need to be changed, working on this, sorry.

I came on here and saw a poor review (2 stars) and was very surprised! We came to this cabin and had a great time! The slopes are 30 minutes away and very convenient. The house is HUGE with a pool table, hot tub, steam room and a great overall living space to fit a ton of people. We had a great time here at a great price.
Thank you, This is a beautiful home, never had a bad review, ever until the one you are talking about, I just wish guest would read our responses on bad reviews so they would get an overall look at what happened. Casino located in ignacio 30 minutes west from pagosa springs, chimney rock ruins 30 minutes west of town. Durnago 60 miles west of town with shopping, dining, skiing, and the durango silverton train.
