Perfect Adirondack Stay

It was a much needed fam time to catch up with each other, the place was omg, HUGE. The caregivers were very helpful. Super friendly. And i enjoyed the tub in the master bedroom with the jets, an added perk to my stay. We are hoping to return their again soon. Everyone around that staying on the camp were nice.. friendly. So glad we found that place and the owners are 'a plus' thanks again soo much for allowing us to stay.

Spacious and charming home

My family and some close family friends visited in April to be nearby the path of totality for the 2024 Eclipse. We really enjoyed our time! The space was big and had lots of cute touches. You could feel the love that went into building it. We liked the summer-camp feel of the neighborhood and enjoyed taking walks around the house and walking to the lake. Theres also a convenience store within a few minutes walk away. The hosts were very helpful and kind. We definitely recommend for a larger family stay--plenty of space for everyone! Thanks for a wonderful home-base for us to enjoy the eclipse!

Cozy Stay for Skiing

The property is located in a quiet little town away from cities but was perfect for our ski trip - 20 minutes from a nearby ski resort. The house is spacious for our family of four; we only used the 3 bedrooms upstairs but I noticed there are more beds in the basement. Family with little kids would appreciate the high chair and the playpen that the host provides. The kitchen has plenty of spices and seasoning, probably from previous guests. If you need to shop, there is a general store in town and a bigger store in the ski town. The check-in and check-out was a breeze and the host was responsive to text messages.

Needs a little up dating

Great stay no problem with the home or the owners . All TVs need to be update to 2000 No cable TV are in the late 50s . DVD player are all from the 80 and don't work have the time .

Kayaking Seniors

The house was very clean and comfortable. The lake was wonderful for kayaking. The little community was friendly. The basement bedrooms were on the cooler side even during the summer months. We enjoyed the house immensely played games and enjoyed company of friends who haven’t seen each other in a long time. We would rent again. Thank you.

Family vacation

Great summer vacation home for the weekend. Lots of room. Walk down the hill to fish/swim. Fire pit. Caught a bunch of fish, rented kayaks nearby. Hiked. paddled. Enjoyed.

Another great stay in wells

The property is kept clean. It has all the amenities of home. Plus offers room for your family. Offers beautiful view of lake with Adriondecks in backgrounds. The property managers are always helpful and friendly.

Annual family icefishing weekend

Family vacation

We had never been to this area of the Adirondacks and did some exploring. Bonnie and Guy were very nice and helpful. Loved the house and all the room - it had everything we needed. We fixed a few meals, ate out, swam and played games before bed.

Great place, bad management

The care taking was extremely nosey,and tried to charge me for damages that were from previous vacant. Was not happy overall.

Autumn family weekend

Ashley and Tom were super responsive. Spacious property and close proximity to lake were amazing. Basically spent the whole weekend preparing family meals in the well-appointed kitchen, enjoying boardgames at the large kitchen table and in the comfortable family room, and enjoying the outdoor fire pit. Would come again!

👪 family fun...

Excellent location and spot for our family vacation, loved the fact that they had everything in the 🏠. They took care of everything... Loved the master bathtub. Downside. The place had a bees nest which was a nuisance and scared the life outta my kids and 4 of the people were stung during our stay.

Spacious with lake access

Overall this was great. Only 6 of us so our two 5yr olds had lots of room to run inside and out (having the slide was another great feature!) Small beach area was great, during the week girls had it to themselves; more families there on weekend. Bonnie was wonderful, sharing her gazebo for shade and her paddle boats! Main floors were clean & comfortable with many amenities. Basement with 2 bedrooms, 1 dorm style with 4 beds was still a basement. Sagging ceiling tiles, loud water heater (?) Which was in an easily accessible area. Ok for our 5 yr olds who knew to stay out. Not as well cared for as rest of house. Once we all moved upstairs we slept better. All in all met our needs easily. Enjoyed our week there.

Spacious, comfortable home

Beautiful, clean, well maintained and spacious house with lake views and everything you need for comfortable stay by the lake. Hosts Tom and Ashley are very responsive and home-caretakers, Bonnie & Guy, are friendly and helpful suggesting local places to shop and eat. Great experience for our family's first trip to Lake Algonquin. Thank you.

Quick family getaway

We rented kayaks (From the country/general store further from house) and fished the lake everyday Thoroughly enjoying its charm and quietness. House was great for two separate families combined. Would highly recommend

Great Rental, Great Locals

Large clean house with lake access

Big, wide open, clean house. Plenty of living space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Steps away from lake access. Quiet neighbors, walk to convenience store with soft serve ice cream. Would stay again for sure.
