In perfect walking distance to downtown, the grocery, the waterfront. Plenty of parking. My cat’s litter box fit well in the bathroom and wasn’t in the way (big plus). I felt safe being there alone. I’d stay there again! 10/10

This property gets very hot! Great location, however could be cleaner. There was a dried dead slug on the bathroom window ledge. Good communication.

The accommodation was exactly what I needed, and the location was ideal for me to walk around Halifax and savor the city's personality. It was very clean and well-maintained. I'd definitely stay there on my next visit.

Good Location

Good place with a short walk to get to the downtown area! However, sheets and blankets were not provided for the pullout couch which made for an extremely uncomfortable stay.

Cute loft in a great location

The apartment is cute and quirky. The windows didn’t open, which was rough during some very hot days. A few key items were missing, like cooking utensils and oven mitts. The location was super.

Sweet studio apartment in the heart of the South End

Apartment appeared as advertised, very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and museums (Pier 21, Discovery Centre, Maritime Museum). We easily relied on public transit to get around. Apartment was clean and well organized

One bathroom faucet was broken, the wifi wasn’t working and no one got back to us when we messaged them about it, the windows wouldn’t stay open, there was a bug on the counter, no real blankets for the pullout couch, a bug on the counter… it was cute, but clearly style over substance.

I came to Halifax to say a final goodbye to my dad and was looking for a cozy, quiet space within walking distance of key areas.The location itself is great — close to the VIA Rail station, within walking distance to Point Pleasant Park, and about 20 minutes to the Citadel.That said, the stay itself had several issues.When I arrived in the evening after a long train journey, the unit was very cold (approximately 15C) with no central heating. The only heat source was a small space heater. After contacting the host, an additional heater and blanket were provided, which helped in the main living area, though the back portion remained a bit chilly.During my stay, a ceiling tile fell in the bathroom. Fortunately I was not underneath it at the time, but it suggests some maintenance concerns.The most disruptive issue was a loud, persistent pipe-banging noise that occurred for extended periods — including one full night and again early in the morning (around 4:15 a.m.) on my departure day. I was advised this was related to a shared space, but the duration and intensity made it very difficult to rest.Amenities were very basic. Guests may want to bring additional supplies (e.g., extra toilet paper, coffee options), as only minimal provisions are provided.Overall, the space has a certain quirky charm and a very convenient location, but it may not be suitable for those seeking a quieter and less rustic experience.

This was an amazing space! Prime location and a perfect spot to stay while visiting the city. The host is excellent to deal with and instructions are very straight forward. The house felt very clean. The only downside is the shutters done fully close so at night I felt that people could see right in. I would highly recommend this property!!

Natalie was fabulous to deal with. We had a few hiccups with the property, and she really hustled to move us to another unit. We were attending a family funeral, and she went the extra mile to help us extend our stay and to adjust check out and check in times to accommodate us. Would 100% recommend.

I stayed for approximately 2 months and it was well worth the investment. So close to all amenities, privacy, has everything you need whether you are staying for a couple nights or a couple months; highly recommend!
