Great place, just more stairs than I thought for elderly folks! Very quiet with deer and turkeys every morning, nice view!

Great location, easy check-in and out process, we had a great time in Hill city!While the property overall was very clean, the shower curtain liner in the master bath has some mold and could use a washWould definitely come back to this property!

This property was in a gorgeous location. It was very well equipped and exceptionally clean. It is in a central location for many must-see sites in the Black Hills and surrounding area. We highly recommend this property.

Kitchen had all the items for cooking. Could use better tongs and need a steel spatula for grilling. Otherwise, place fit our needs perfectly. All 5 of us were happy!

Gold Mill was just what we needed for our stay in the Black Hills. Close to most of the major attractions. Place was clean and well stocked with amenities. Having a garage was a bonus.

Great place to stay

Very clean place to stay. Loved being able to see deer outside the windows every morning and evening. Quiet little neighborhood was perfect. Will definitely stay here again!

Thank you for sharing a review. We are happy that you have stayed with us several times and look forward to a repeat stay. For just two people, the long living room probably isn't as cozy as you would prefer. However, for full capacity (8 people) we need to provide furniture including the futon for adequate seating and sleeping space. For others contemplating a stay here, the living room furniture consists of a love seat recliner, two other recliners and the futon sleeper. Your comments give us reason to consider other options that might make the living room better: We are contemplating replacing the futon with a regular sofa and provide two fold away beds so that we can still accommodate up to 8 people for sleeping. Thanks for helping us plan for ways we can improve our accommodations! Marcia

Excellent property

Had a great stay! Perfect location to most of the area attractions and excellent property. The hosts were available to answer questions and we even got to see their impala in the parade!

It was great having you visit over the 4th of July holiday and that you got to see our "little town parade!" Our red 1960 Impala is a joy to have in parades and short tours in the Hills. We hope you can come back again someday in the future.

Excellent Location

Comfortable accommodations after a day of exploring the Black Hills. It was clean and had everything we needed for a family vacation. I would definitely come back and stay again.

great setting for family gathering

Our family gathering of 8 people plus one infant fit nicely into this unit. We enjoyed the sitting, eating, sleeping, and hot tub areas.
