The house was just as described. Clean and had basic necessities. The neighborhood was quiet. Parking was tight but we only had one morning that was extremely difficult.

Convenient and comfortable

We made this Cambridge townhouse our home base for a week-long visit in summer. It was so easy to get around and there was a Star Market a few blocks away. When we had a couple of minor questions, the host was quick to respond and help. They even left us a beautiful bouquet of fresh cut roses from their back yard. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect spot for Cambridge and Boston Visit

Stayed for two nights with 3 friends who had not visited before. Great location for walking to Harvard Sq and easy access to T. Park like neighborhood is lovely and house felt quintessentially Boston to me, which I loved!

Very nice

Very nice rental. Comfortable, clean. Easy and responsive communication with owners. Driveway parking. Very nice west Cambridge neighborhood with short walk to public transportation (10-12 min bus ride to Harvard Square T station - bus runs frequently) and a Star Market supermarket. Neighborhood abuts a major bike pathway and area streets have good to excellent bike infrastructure. If owners had bicycles available, I am sure they would be used.

Wonderful location, quiet stay

The house is really cute from the front, with beautiful flowers. Mark had a vase of fresh peonies on the table for us. He's a great host. We had a nice stay, it's a quiet neighborhood. It's a long walk to Harvard Square (1.7 miles), we did it the first evening but took Ubers after that because of the time. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom has been redone and is very nice. He was installing the air conditioners just before we moved in, and they worked great. It seems like a new venture. It needs some little things -- tall glasses, creamer for coffee, update on decor, nightlights would be nice -- but overall a great place to stay in Cambridge away from the noise of the Square.

Quick Trip to Boston

Great place to stay, really good location. Door Dash and Instacart had tons of availability. Beds were comfy, apartment was comfy, and having three spots to park for free was AMAZING. Owners were amazing and responsive and left us yummy fruit!

Wonderful

The house was so lovely and better than the pictures! The house sits in a lovely residential area, within walking distance to the bus stop and several restaurants and a grocery store. The hosts were wonderful. We arrived earlier than expected and they were gracious enough to allow us to leave our luggage while they got the place ready. We were able to walk around the area and visited the Mt. Auburn Cemetery down the block. The home was larger than expected with three good size rooms a full, large kitchen equipped with all of the necessities. The living room provided a nice common space in the center of the home for my family to gather. We did not use the backdoor and I cannot speak to any outside areas because we were out from the house for the most part. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

Everything we were hoping for

My family came up to Boston for a long weekend to see family that had come over from the UK. They were staying in central Boston, but with the expense and craziness of the city, we were looking for something conveniently located but a little removed from the busy city center. There's 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 teenage kids, and it was important for us that all the kids got their own space and didn't have to share beds and feel packed in like sardines. To this end, this accommodation served perfectly! The property was beautiful and well maintained. Everything was well laid out, with every comfort. All the facilities we expected from the listing, and more! The kids were thrilled they each got their own space. The neighborhood was peaceful and this was a great place to return to after a busy day touring the sights of Boston. It felt like a home away from home. This accommodation was a big part of making this such a wonderful and memorable trip. Thank you!

Our family stayed here to move our daughter into BU. Easy access to BU. Clean and comfortable for our family, and nice to have off-street parking.

My sisters in law stayed here for 6 nights. PROS: AMAZING location- 30 minute walk to Harvard Square - BUSES around corner- great coffee shop- Supoermarket 5 minute walk- PLUS 5 minutes to gorgeous walk at FResh Pond. CONS: Kitchen poorly equipped for 4 guests- ONE bathroom- not great access to outdoor space-

Flat in Cambridge

The house was great. It was walking distance to a number restaurants in Watertown and a great bakery just up the street. There was ample parking. The rooms were very nice. Mark our host was great.

Great location, property, and hosts!

We just returned from our trip to Boston and we really enjoyed this property. Location - this is a great location! It's walking distance to the grocery store (Star Market), a great reservoir with a walking path, and it's in a safe neighborhood (I walked at night by myself without concern. For our purposes, driving was necessary so I can't speak to access to public transit. Property - this first floor property was set up to be reserved by bedroom or the whole unit (which we did). We had 6 people and everyone fit nicely. There is a common space for watching TV and the kitchen is large/equipped. Keep in mind, this neighborhood is well-maintained but has older homes that don't have central air. There is an AC unit in each bedroom and the living room. We found this system to work well for our needs (close the doors and turn on the AC when you return and bedrooms are cool and comfortable by the time you go to sleep). Communication - hosts were quick to respond and answer any questions we had. Super kind to allow us to use their driveway while there (I think this is standard but still requires work on their part!). One thing to keep in mind - my husband did work from the property one day (he was the only one home) and was frustrated he couldn't make video calls from the wifi. All of our other wifi needs were fine including regular web browsing and texting but the video calls were difficult. We had a great time and would stay again!!
