Lovely and Quiet

This is a lovely, private, and quiet apartment in Cabbagetown. The neighborhood is close to downtown, but feels as if you are miles and miles away. There is a beautiful park across the street, the others houses are well kept and the neighborhood is very peaceful. The owners are very nice and helpful, parking is super easy and safe and there are many restaurants to walk to. I will definitely book again if I am in the area.

The property was very clean and the property appears to be well maintained. Wifi and TV worked as expected. I would recommend that a HD antenna is provided to receive local stations.I also would recommend that the shower and similar bath products should be fragrance free. The bed was supportive and comfortable. The bed pillows were very flat. I recommend that these are upgraded and additional blankets are provided in the cabinets.

Well appointed, sparkling clean, great location!

The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and oh so convenient. Bakery downstairs with great coffee and yummy bites. Shirley was responsive and helpful. Parking was key and we would definitely stay here again!

We love the property so much we came back! Our 2nd stay was just as amazing as our first. Great property in a cool neighborhood that’s close to everything. We are definitely staying with you again next time we are in Atlanta.

Great place, great host!

My time spent at this beautiful home was remarkable. From the time I checked in, Shirley and her team was wonderful and thoughtful. I'm familiar with the Cabbagetown area, and so I was excited about my stay. Shirley's bakery around the corner from my place is delicious and a staple to the neighborhood. You must stay here when you come to Atlanta. Thank you for making me feel at home.

Idyllic Location

This place was such a treat! The property managers were great at communicating and very helpful. We loved all of the details that went into the design of this loft style apartment. It was beautiful, clean and cozy. The location is over the bakery which was wonderful getting to have fresh pastries & coffee for breakfast and having them on the balcony overlooking the park was the icing on the cake. It’s such a great, accessible location with just a short walk to the belt line and restaurants. I would love to stay here again!

Great neighborhood, perfect location, amazing condo

We were really happy with this condo. Super clean, probably one of the cleanest ones I have stayed at. Very quiet and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The porch is just the best way to start and end the day. The owners are super nice, responsive, and respectful. Absolutely recommend! And how can I NOT say anything about the bakery. O...M...G....deliciousness. Thank you Shirley and Robert.

Nice apartment located in cabbagetown above a bakery on the edge of cabbagetown park. Nice, quiet, only complaint is that the bed was really uncomfortable.

Loved this Place!!!

This place was amazing and located in one of the best neighborhoods. It was beautifully decorated and the owners provided you with everything you could want. The coffee shop and bakery below is just icing on the cake. This neighborhood was so quiet at night that it was hard to believe downtown was just a mile or less away. Recommend this place for families and ones just wanting to have a quiet getaway. Parking behind back was always available and loved the local artwork everywhere you turned. The owners are the best and so helpful. Provided us with excellent recommendation for local eateries and also ideas to try with our kids. Best place we have stayed so far...

Quiet gem

I don't want to tell anyone about this rental so it will be available next time we are in Atlanta! We loved it. We stayed a Tuesday-Saturday. Check-in was very easy and instructions helpful. Parking easy. The space is very well designed with lots of windows and light, spacious bathroom and living space, and included great amenities and nice touches. We sat on the patio each morning to drink coffee and sometimes at night before bed. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. Even the bakery was unobtrusive and we enjoyed watching people stop for their coffee from the patio. I walked every morning and looked at the art of Cabbagetown, walked to the Martin Luther King memorial. Location was convenient to where we wanted to go. We will stay here again.

The perfect getaway.

I was in Atlanta for five nights for a visit with my daughter. Robert and Shirley were incredible! The check-in process was smooth. There was complete correspondence between the online listing and the actual unit. The location was what I had hoped for. Every morning I walked downstairs to the bakery for a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin, sat on the deck that overlooked the park, and was able to enjoy the moment. If there was something I needed either Robert or Shirley were a text away. I would recommend this setting without reservation. Go Cabbagetown!

Bed and Breakfast vibes

I chose this rental for my staycation and it did not disappoint. Everything was incredibly clean and bright. Shirley and Robert made my check in super easy. They were very friendly and personable, if i needed anything, they were just a phone call or text away. But the best part is that it sits above a DELICIOUS bakery and you can smell everything from the condo. Grab breakfast downstairs and then people watch from the balcony. I'd definitely recommend this and would definitely book it again. 15/10.

Great home base

This location was a great home base for use to explore Atlanta. Calm, safe, and easy to navigate area. Beautiful and clean space with every little detailed covered and need met. We loved enjoying goodies at the bakery below almost daily during our stay and the parking was a great convenience as well. Easy check in and out process.

Cabbagetown Loft

Overall, the place was clean & up to date. The fold-out couch had its issues when trying to fold back in. It would have been nice to have a couple of chairs in the TV area, in addition to the couch, since the loft "sleeps 4". We were going to buy a blender & just leave it for the next renters but were told that a blender would be brought over, but it never was. The owner was very nice & explained policies, how to use TV, etc.. Would rent again if there were only two of us. Since the bathroom was on the 2nd floor, it made it harder for the fold-out couch sleepers to go up & down stairs in the middle of the night. Loved watching the people at the park across the street with their dogs & walking to see the graffiti murals.

Great apartment

Robert and Shirley were amazing host/hostess. Robert met us at the property and gave us a very informative orientation which included info about the area. The apartment is adorable and well taken care of. Location is perfect. The bakery below the apartment has the BEST cupcakes and cheesecake. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Great location close to some awesome spots!

I loved this property! It had all the amenities I needed and was in a great location overlooking a park. The coffeeshop downstairs was an added bonus! Quiet neighborhood within less than a mile to Krog Street Market, the Beltline, and Joystick Gamebar. I would definitely stay here again!

Spacious, modern loft above tempting bakery treats!

This apartment was clean, modern and offered more space than I expected. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. There is a full stairway to the loft which is a must for us older folks. The area was quiet and beautiful. And resisting the goodies downstairs was out of the question!

Overall good but with a couple kinks..

The overall experience was mostly good. The check-in process wasn't pleasant. After a 5+ hour drive, when you want to simply check-in and unwind, we had to wait awkwardly inside the bakery below for about 15-20 minutes while the host arrived with the key and forms to sign. This was AFTER the posted check-in time and after our ETA was clearly communicated multiple times during our drive there. Once the wait was over, the check-in went well. We were given a quick introduction to the property and left to enjoy it which I appreciated. The apartment is not kid friendly- from the furnishings to the stairs. That is not a knock on the place in the slightest (just an observation). The posting doesn't claim to be kid friendly or kid-centered, so no problems there. The location was great- not a far drive from anything we wanted to do. The park across the street was a highlight. There was some noise from the neighboring unit but not at a disturbing level- just enough to not feel completely secluded (if that is what you're looking for). The most notable issue we had was with the pull out bed in the living room. It pulled out (with some struggles), but we immediately noticed permanent stains on the mattress cover. That was super off putting. The pull out bed also did not properly fold back in. We examined it. It had been previously broken and the frame severely bent; preventing it from functioning properly. Hopefully the owner replaces it soon. Because it does NEED replacing. We also learned that the thermostat is controlled remotely and we were told to text the host/owner of we wanted the temp changed in the unit- not the best experience. Again, overall, out experience here was mostly good but there were a couple set backs that the experienced traveler would rather not have to deal with. I would still recommend the place, but with clear expectations that everything isn't perfect and if you can find another place around the same price point with similar immensities, I would probably say book at the other location first.

The homeowner appreciates your feedback and would like to note that they did ask you to let them know when you were 15 minutes out so they could meet you. However, we're sorry for the inconvenience. The condo is also exactly as pictured online so that travelers can make sure this is the right vacation rental for them before booking. The owner is sorry for the issue with the pullout sofa and plans to address this concern. Unfortunately, the owner was not able to verify your claims of the sofa cover being dirty or stained. Regarding the thermostats, there was previous damage to the HVAC, so the owners switched to a remote system. Upon check-in, the owners reach out to find out their guests' preferred temperature. These owners are known for going above and beyond for their guests, and we're confident future travelers will have exceptional stays. Best, the Evolve Team

Hands Down the BEST Property I have stayed at!

Great Property in Cabbagetown! The condo is in a great location, across from a beautiful park and just a few minutes walk to local restaurants. Everything was as described. This condo has everything you need including Shirley & Roberts amazing bakery on the ground floor. I would definitely come back and stay here again. I highly recommend this condo to those wanting to visit Atlanta!
