We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, cookware, a coffee bar, snacks, and water. The accommodation was exceptionally clean. The bathroom thoughtfully provided toiletries for any forgotten items. Robin was a wonderful and attentive host. We would certainly welcome the opportunity to stay again if we are in the vicinity!

The amenities of the vacation home, including the fully equipped kitchen, and the location—quiet in nature on the one hand, yet close enough to our actual destination, the North Wilkesboro Motor Speedway, on the other—were perfect for us. We also appreciated the friendly interaction with the hosts.

All The Little Extras

Very clean little home with all the extras. Simple but felt like home. We loved staying here and found that it was close to the drive in theater, tubing and lots of other little things that makes the area a hidden gem. Would definitely go back!

This home was really amazing, you can feel the love they put into this home. They provide everything to make you feel right at home,from soaps to towels to snacks,. They appeared to spare no expense to make this a really amazing stay. The shower is huge, and accessible for a wheel chair or shower chair. I will certainly be back.

Comfortable quiet setting

This Home was a great comfortable cozy place for our family to stay. From the welcoming snacks to a fully stocked kitchen more than ever needed. The comfortable beds and Clean! comfortable surroundings inside and outside the home. Lots of extras! The owner did a great job! Very roomy inside and room for the kids to play outside also. Easily located with Google maps and nicely located off the road. Yet close enough to Elkin or Wilkesboro areas.We will definitely be back when we come to visit our daughter and her family.

Weekend in the mountains

Great location. Visited Historic Elkin and Boone.House could sleep 6. If you are a cook, bring your own sharp knives and additional cutlery. We had to buy dinner knives. Also, be aware of possible “extra” charges not at first listed. We enjoyed our weekend.

This home was charming and welcoming and accommodating to all our needs! It was clean and smelled clean. The three bedrooms worked great for our family. We enjoyed some warm apple cider around the fire pit. The host was responsive and provided some great recommendations for local activities.

Our residence is located atop a hill, bordered by pine trees on two sides and smaller trees at the rear. The terrain is level, making it ideal for hosting events and setting up inflatables. The property is frequented by wildlife at night, as they find safety traversing through the pine trees to a small clearing.
