Il ya des vacances où vous courir aussi vite que vous pouvez visiter chaque site historique, boutique dans chaque magasin de boutique, manger dans tous les restaurants, vous pouvez trouver ... Vous portez-vous sur et vers le bas et devenir éreintante. Dans quelques jours, vous mourez d'envie de rentrer à la maison où vous pourrez vous reposer et vous détendre.

Eh bien, cela ne se produit pas à Whale Rock .... pas ici. Vous ne voudrez pas quitter Whale Rock parce que chaque moment de la journée est spécial ici - comme la lumière du matin sur l'océan et la plage - dormir tard si vous voulez) - comme après-midi doux et promenades sur la plage ou le long de la rivière (ou vous pouvez faire une sieste - n'êtes-vous pas en vacances?)

Vous aimerez les premières soirées paisibles ... un temps pour les cocktails ou de vin tout en sirotant donnant sur la plage de la terrasse privée surplombant la plage - appelée "The Perch" - et de la houle du Pacifique ... et, bien sûr , comme au coucher du soleil et des promenades sur la plage .... pourquoi voudriez-vous laisser Whale Rock?

The beach was very nice also. The only fault was it looks like there is dish and maybe a wifi antenna and you cannot use it. No lan line either. Didnt like putting trash in the garage where the ping-pong table was. But that was minor. Will probably try to go back again.

An absolutely amazing experience with an extremely helpful host to help make your stay the easiest and most relxed possible. Our family fell in love with the beautiful house and the breathtaking scenery to go with it. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely save this home for the future.

House and location are fantastic!

Too many superlatives to list about the house but the highlights are spectacular location right on the ocean, very comfortable living room, beds are great, the most movie dvds I have ever seen in a private home, excellent large screen tv and fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our daily: Morning coffee on the deck. Dog walks on the beach twice a day. Early dinners in Mendocino a half hour away. Back at the house for hot tub sunset.

It is the perfect, relaxing getaway. The view is almost unbelievable in person and the house is so cozy - the perfect vibe for the atmosphere. The beds are also incredibly comfortable which is so rare in a vacation rental. We're already planning our next visit and can't wait to keep coming back for years to come!

The house comfortably fit our family of 4 + dog. The dog seemed like the biggest winner with the easy access to a large sandy beach. We enjoyed everything about our stay except having to leave.

Great location

My family and I enjoyed saying at Whale Rock. Great beach access and great views. The house was pretty clean but there were a lot of spider webs around the house. The front bedroom could use a new mattress. One side of the mattress is very worn and you kind of sink. Fortunately, they left the 3rd bedroom unlocked and my mom and sister slept in there. Overall, great place. Would definitely recommend.

Throwing the ball for the dog on a nearly deserted beach? Is it the pretty, comfortable living room with its endless array of movies to watch? I think we’ll have to go back to answer the question definitively. The best rental ever.

Welcome back to the 90s, Mr. Banks!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On the positive, the house was fine. Tremendous views, workable kitchen, comfortable spaces in the living room and dining room. The beach access was great. Nice spot for two couples since the bedrooms are separated by the central living space.In the negative- it's 2017 and this house has NO WI FI. I think this should have been listed as HUGE DISCLAIMER on the website. Every other house we have rented on the Mendocino coast has had an internet connection, including one two doors down from Whale Rock. One of the members of our party needed to work while he was here, and this presented a big obstacle. We finally worked it out (changing service providers and establishing a hot spot) but it was a lot of unneeded stress that ate two days of our vacation time. Bottom line- the owners need to get with it and provide Wi Fi, especially considering the fact that they are not at all shy about their rates. We are almost 20 years into the 21st century!They also need to replace the bar stools in the kitchen with something resembling comfortable. The two stools there were awful.

Everything we hoped for and more

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying at Whale Rock and we were NOT disappointed. The weather was a little bit wetter than we had hoped however with a view like this we couldn't have wished to be in a better house. We were able to see whale activity right from the bedroom view. The pictures and details on their website are accurate as well. Critique: The master bath skylight did have quite a leak during the evening down pours which we needed to put a bucket under. When we mentioned it to the management they confirmed they were aware and that they had a new skylight on order. The second morning we received a phone call asking if the hot tub repair man could come over. We just would have liked both of these issues brought to our attention ahead of our visit. It wouldn't have changed our plans however it would be better service. We were refunded $50 for the hot tub inconvenience which has been customary when we have used other property management companies. All other interactions prior to our visit with Mendocino Preferred were friendly and helpful.We would love to return when the weather is better so that we can enjoy the convenience of the beach access.

Wonderful time at the Ocean

There were a few surprises, there were rat droppings in the garage and one of my friends saw a rat on the kitchen counter in the middle of the night getting in to food. The shower head in the master bath is very old, and it comes out so strong it actually hurts, just need a new one. Like I said, we love it and enjoy our time very much!
