Make yourself at home in this 3-bedroom private Tecumseh Island retreat. This adorable vintage house sleeps up to 9 people, perfect for a tranquil getaway. With amenities like AC, WIFI, and heating, guests can relax with beautiful views of the open water. .07 miles to Cranberry Resort one of the best Restaurants/Bars on the lake! Fish, swim, kayak, right off the property! Our Home has a lot of original features. This originality may not be for everyone. If you're expecting a remodeled, modern, near perfect home, ours may not be for you. We look forward to hosting you at our place.

Charming Vintage cottage with great location to kayak ( we brought) down the canals. Plenty of parking . No central AC but the 3 window AC units did the job very nicely. Great area to go for walks down the streets. Host was very attentive. Thank you for a great stay.

If you wanna place that close to the water and your grandkids can catch fish right off the back dock this is a good place to go. It was comfortable and provided everything that we needed. The unit was kept cool with wall and window, air conditioners, which were way more than adequate.

We loved our stay at Gary’s place. Everything was exactly as described, and Gary was very quick to respond with any questions we had. There’s plenty of seating, inside and out, and all of the beds were very comfortable as well. The window units did a great job keeping the house cool. We really enjoyed sitting outside under the lights, on the patio near the water, and the Bluetooth speaker was a nice added touch. We were able to rent a pontoon from Indian Lake Pontoon Rentals, and they dropped the boat off to us right there at the house. It was the perfect little lakefront home for our annual girls trip. Would love to come back!

The house is small but retro and nice. We swam in the lake. Enjoyed the lake view.The door locks were tricky and probably need replaced. The shower is bad. And needed replaced yesterday!Overall clean and comfy.Except shower!Owner helped us with the lock and was pleasant. Thank you for a needed time off.

Wonderful stay! Exactly what we hoped for: a small, quaint, functional fishing cottage! Our girls had a blast fishing right off the seawall and playing in the small backyard. We loved waking up each morning to a beautiful view of Indian Lake. Gary was very responsive and the location is perfect, anything you could need is a very short drive away. We will definitely return!

My wife and I along with our 3 kids stayed here for the week and it was great for the most part! The home is older, but in fairly good shape aside from the shower(the water here has definitely taken its toll on the inside over time) and there were a couple windows that had tape on them where they’d been cracked. The backyard was where we spent a lot of our time when we were here and not out doing things and seeing places and it was awesome. Plenty of seating, a nice gas grill, outdoor lighting for after dark and decent fishing for my kids. They caught a lot of bluegill and one good sized catfish. We would definitely stay here again. The host was quick to respond if we needed anything and was friendly. I’d give this place an 8/10 overall!

Beautiful view. The house needs some up keeping and cleaning cob webs flies. The bath room shower needs updated very low water pressure. Bed was very comfortable. The neighbors Steve was very helpful to had no tv or internet for the 2 days that we were there. At. This point I would not recommend this place

Rebecca, We stayed after you were there and noticed someone had closed the heat vents in almost all the rooms. Being older, some people probably have never seen heat vented and coming down from the ceilings. Plus the springs on the vents are old so to fully open some you have to help them with a long utensil or something. We were cold too until we noticed they had been turned off. Anyway, glad you had a good time!

The house has so much charm. Love the vintage features throughout! The outdoor spaces were wonderful. So many places to sit around the lake and the landscaping was beautiful. We had a great time sitting by the lake. We even got all the teen outside fishing everyday. Great trip!

Perfect little house

I got extremely lucky with the weather for my stay. The cabin offered outdoor seating so i got to enjoy the sun and the wind. At night, the hanging lights created a warm friendly environment and provided ample light for night fishing.

Beautiful property

Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the lake & sunrise. We used the fire pit and there was plenty of wood provided. The beds were comfortable and had quality linens. The communication was flawless. The furniture and rug in the main area was very new and clean.

Cute and cozy home situated in the perfect spot for admiring the sunrises during our stay. Easy to access and good directions provided by host.A plethora of comfortable outdoor seating options that beg to be taken advantage of to take in the beauty of Indian Lake. Outdoor grill and griddle, lighting and speakers were icing on the cake!Gary was quickly responsive to questions and provided check-in information that worked perfectly. Wi-Fi strong including in outside areas. Kitchen small but serviceable although it could use a good scrubbing.

Ladies trip

Don’t go expecting an updated home, but you can expect a clean, nicely decorated small, older lake house. Yes, shower could use some upgrades . Fishing was great, but the condos across the inland ruin what would be a beautiful lake view. Very convenient one minute walk from house to lake edge where there is great outdoor seating, a grill and a type of blackstone…also a fire pit. We rocked the speakers for four days. Gary was very accommodating and accessible. We had a good trip!

Disappointed

We left after one night even though we paid for a three night stay. The condition was so bad we did not care about lossing the money for the two nights we did not stay there.1. Air conditioning units were dirty and filter sensor advised the filter needed to be replaced.2. Shower was rusted to the point we were concerned about cutting ourselves and did not use it.3. There was no room to place our toiletries as the cabinets were filed with the owner's properties.4. We left our stuff in suitcases becase there was no room to put our stuff away due to the owners property filling the property.5. While other properties have been updated this house lacks general maintenance.

Had a great time. This is exactly the type of home we love to stay in, had all of the basics, no high-maintenance issues, perfect setting! Built a fire in the fire pit, grilled hot dogs, sat outside on the beautiful lake, ate, drank, listened to music through the bluetooth speakers, laughed, talked & relaxed. Perfect weekend away with friends we have known for over 50 years. Thank you.
