As a caring owner all feed back is received in a positive manner as I believe it will only improve what so many others found a fantastic Luxury Holiday Home rental experience. After receiving this review it has prompted me to change some of our long standing policies which include: 1. Not leaving Salt, Sugar sachets etc in the cupboards to help the incoming guests. 2. Mugs and cups that are accumalated by out going guests will be thown away so only the original sets remain for new holiday makers. 3. Towels, although are always clean and fresh will be renewed 4 times throughout the summer season and more frequently renewed if required. 4. 6 Sunloungers supplied as standard and a spare replacement parasol. 5. Bulbs will now be replaced each month regardless if they work or not, thus doing everthing to ensure they do not blow during occupancy. Lastly, Villa St Martin is undergoing extensive maintenance work over the winter to ensure we are all set for another season of happy holiday makers!!

In 18 years of renting my villa out this has only happened to me twice, although once is to many! It was quite obvious from the beginning that Philip was trying to scam me. After our maintenance company visited the Villa none of what Philip was complaining about was actually true. As the owner I game Philip a full refund to release him from the villa even though he could not provide photographic evidence of why he was complaining, however Vrbo policies dictated that they could not refund their fees.

As always constructive criticism is received in a positive way. Sunbeds Every sunbed cover is changed for new at the beginning of May at the start of each season. Throughout the summer the sun does slightly fade the colour of the fabric but this is the same throughout Cyprus. However If Shelley had communicated her views on day 1 of her holiday I would have happily replaced for new. Cleaning I take these comments very seriously as sub-standard cleaning standards is not expectable, and It is true I was staying prior to Shelley's stay. As I live in the UK I employee a professional local cleaning company to clean to the highest standard. On this occasion it appears this may not be the case. In light of this I have replaced the cleaning company with immediate effect. Towels & bed linen All towels, bed linen, quilts and pillows are brand new at the beginning of each season every year. If they become stained in any way during the season they are dry cleaned or replaced. Again if this was the case its not acceptable and I refer to my comments on the cleaning company above. Painting Villas St Martin is painted from top to bottom every year at the start of the season, In light of the fact everything is painted white. The villa is also painted throughout the season when required. I touched up the walls in need of painting myself just before Shelley's stay. Honestly speaking I believe the walls were painted to a high standard at the time of her stay. Outside lights All outside lights were in perfect working order when checked. The only thing that comes to mind is the light switch which is located in the pool shed wasn't turned on by the guest. Instructions for this are supplied in the villa information. Owners next door This is a crazy situation. Over the past 13 years when they are staying at their villa they try and steal our repeat business. The reason I know this is because I've lost count of the happy guests that have warned us this is going on. Their friends from the UK also own a villa in the Cul-de-sac and also do the same thing Summary The first I heard of Shelley's experience was when I read this review. I cant help but feel it could of all been resolved had I been informed on day one of her holiday. It is firmly my opinion that Vila St Martin is one of the cheapest villas when compared with like for like in the same prime location. I would also I like to point out that Shelley received 20% discount on her stay.
