This property is exactly as advertised, and I would encourage anyone to book here! It's like visiting grandma's house in the country. Clean and comfortable, beautiful views, with the occasional deer and squirrels to keep you company. We received check-in information well ahead of time and were given additional contacts in case we couldn't reach our hosts. The nearby town offers some fun restaurants and shopping. It's also conveniently located for visiting larger places like Erie, PA Niagara Falls, NY. If we ever make it back to this area, we will book here again!

The hosts were very responsive and helpful before we got there and once we were there. The House is set up so that you can have common areas between two families, bedroom and bath on one side. Two bedrooms and one bath on the other side with a living room kitchen in between. You will definitely need bug spray if you plan on having a campfire but sitting and listening to the waves coming off the lake is definitely worth it.

Amazing get away!

The house and property is in a great location! It’s close to the pier where my boys fished and kayaked. We toured the lighthouse which was so amazing. We had such a great time enjoying the local wineries as well. There was plenty of space in the house and it has everything you need. The trail to the fire pit was the best! The stars are amazing at night with the most beautiful sunsets! The host was very communicative, available, and gracious. Would definitely recommend!

The location is great for boat launch at Barcelona Harbor but there is alot of traffic noice from the 2 main roads. The kitchen appliances could use some cleani g. The walk to the "lakefront" & firepit is much further than anticipated.

We enjoyed our stay here right on Lake Erie. As we enjoyed our morning coffee, mama deer and babies were playing around the pond. In The evening brought out the black squirrels chasing each other. The amenities was well thought out and included spices, quality hair product and bath wash. It even has beach supplies in a plastic tote, large beach towels and toys for kid to play in the sand. They even have folding chairs. Barcelona is where my husband grew up, and it was so nice to celebrate his 78th Birthday here.
