The house was beautiful and the stunning view of the lake could be seen from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom. The back deck was a perfect spot to relax. Can’t wait to go back!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was very well equipped and the kitchen especially so - it was a joy to prepare meals, and the views of Triangle Lake from the kitchen and the front of the house were spectacular! The grounds were beautifully maintained and it was a peaceful location to enjoy our Mother's Day getaway weekend. Thank you Arlene for letting us stay in your amazing home!
Everything about the house was lovely. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The views from the porch were breathtaking. The fog rolling in on the lake at sunrise, and the deer sightings while drinking coffee on the porch were amazing. This city girl and her family loved every minute of it. Highly recommend this property.

Best Guest Ever! Truly blessed by her care, concern, and appreciation of our home.
We had a nice time at this lovely home but the area is very remote (no cell service) and access to the lake is difficult. The neighbor's barking dogs were an issue when we were outside.

It is listed as a Lakeview , not Lakeside home and is a remote area, 26 miles west of Eugene. There is WiFi at the house. To access cellular services you need to turn in WiFi calling on your phone. Unfortunately, most of the lame is privately owned so, it does take a bit of an effort to access the lake at the public boat landing, Lakeview Grocery Dock, or Memorial Community Dock and Grounds.
It all started on the day of arrival... The house is using a well water pump that is shared between the neighbors so when we wanted to prepare the dinner there was barely running water as it apparently was used by neighbors during the hot day. Later in the evening my kid tried to take a shower but the water stopped running in the middle of it so he had to wait covered in soap for ~10min for water flow to resume to wash it off. The same evening strong winds resulted in complete power outage around the lake. What does it mean? No running water, no drinking water, inability to take shower or use toilets, food in refrigerator is going bad, No Wi-Fi that is the only way of communication to the outer world (there is no cell coverage in this area). By the morning, the area was covered by heavy smoke from the wildfires east of Eugene. We confirmed with the power company that power is not planned to be restored till end of the day. We found a landline phone and contacted Arlene the owner, trying to explain that it is no longer safe for us to stay in the house considering the situation and asking to cut short our planned 5-night stay. We encountered a cold reply from the owner stating that our reservation is not entitled for a refund. She suggested to travel to Eugene (~45min away) and wait there for the whole day till power will be restored… When we tried to convince her to refund remaining nights, she abruptly hanged up the phone on us. After experiencing this type of attitude, we just took off and headed back home. When we finally were in cell coverage area, we wrote Arlene the message asking to reconsider and not to charge us for remaining nights. This time, she did offer to extend the credit for stay at another time, but I doubt it will ever happen. Worst experience ever!!!

The wildfires, weather, and power outage was completely out of my control. He agreed to a no refund reservation. Even though he was very rude to me, I extended a credit for him to stay at another time free of charge whenever it is convenient for him.
The view was Spectacular the beds were super comfy the house is very efficient
Myself and my husband and four friends 55 and above all went to this wonderful home. It has a beautiful view. We had a spectacular time, we kayaked on the lake. The house is very efficient and the beds is super comfy. Would stay here again…
We had a family reunion at a nearby park and this was a great place to retreat to! We had our parents and an aunt staying with us. Plenty of room. The lake road up could be intimidating if not used to winding road , but she gave us a heads up.
This comfortable home has the most amazing view of the lake, great neighbors and is nestled into the fern-and-moss laden evergreens, which makes for wonderful walks through the woods. We stayed in the off season and it was so peaceful and relaxing! We will definitely stay here again.
This was a lovely home with a great view of the lake. There was a lot of room to space out, as 3 adults were trying to work with kids running around. It was best to drive to the lake, so it is not for those that just want to pop over by walking easily. We had a lovely stay.
This lovely house has wonderful views and is very spacious. It was a perfect place to bring my elderly father and my two teenagers. My father could sit on the porch and look at the lake while the rest of us enjoyed the lake. The kitchen is well equipped and has a great view, so makes cooking a pleasure. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved being able to kayak and paddle board on the lake and the owner was very responsive whenever we had questions. Thanks so much for a great weekend!
Excellent property. Very clean which is always most important to us. Well stocked. Owner very helpful and communicated well. Views are beautiful. It was pretty cold but heater worked well. Fishing wasn’t great but we didn’t have a boat which I would recommend if you want to do any serious fishing. Overall it was excellent and we would stay there again! Recommend if you want to be out in the country and enjoy the peace and quiet and the beauty of the place!
A very comfortable home with a beautiful view of Triangle Lake. The house had fresh flowers (hydrangeas from the yard) in almost every room. The kitchen has everything needed to cook or bake including pots, pans and utensils. There were also a good variety of spices.
The beds were comfortable and bathrooms had plenty of towels.
Having kayaks and paddle boards available was a nice bonus.
Easy drive to both Eugene and Florence.
The property owners were available by phone or text whenever needed.
If you're looking for remote property, 5-min walk to a gorgeous lake with deer casually grazing your front lawn and birds visiting, this is your place!
Thx Arlene!
Wonderful weekend at this lovely home,
With great views, comfortable accommodations and plenty of space to spread out! The lake, kayaks, paddle boards, rock slides and hiking filled our days and the deck with views and fire pit made for relaxing nights! We were pleasantly surprised by lots of fresh flowers and muffins on the counter! Kitchen is well stocked and a great gathering place. Will definitely stay again!
The property was very clean and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with pans and spices. The views from the patio are breath taking. The house layout and beds were very comfortable. The house is remotely located and the road up to the house is tricky, especially at night. The neighbor dogs were a bit of a problem being on the patio a great deal. Eugene is about a 40 minute drive away and there is a great deal of the drive where there is no cell service. It was a wonderful place to get away from the fast pace of the holidays. I would stay there again, but next time in the summer to be able to enjoy the lake.
We were very happy with our stay at this house! Well stocked with everything you need, roomy and beautiful view! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!
