Exceeded all expectations!

  • 5 of 5

We booked this place last fall after an extensive online search. Jackson Hole lodging is very expensive, and I was looking for something more moderate in cost but still giving us a real experience. I'm very happy with the choice. The condo is set within a neighborhood of condos/private houses but it backs up to a meadow that makes you feel alone in the wilderness. The place was stocked with all the necessities we might need plus extra. My 12 year old quickly took posession of the mattress by the back window and my 9 year old willingly got the bottom bunk. We had brought sleeping bags, but there were bed coverings available. The night was cool, even in July, so I think they liked the bag warmth in the middle night. We saw female moose from the front parking area. The instructions sent to us from the owner were complete and extremely helpful. The condo is circa 1980s but has been maintained very well. I felt that the price paid, and the condo received was an excellent way to experience Jackson Hole without gouging a hole out of my pocket. The drive to town is 10 minutes, unless you get caught in traffic exiting the National park, and then drive took almost 30 min bumper to bumper. I was very pleased and would recommend to anyone wanting a similar experience. This has been my first VRBO rental, and I will be using the service again for our next vacation.

Perfect for us!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! The location and amenities were just perfect for us. The unit was very quiet and the area off the patio was serene. We were visited a couple of times by a moose and her calf. The condo itself had everything we needed. Access to GTNP, our favorite, was quick and easy too! Ginger, the property owner, was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to staying here again!

Great, family friendly place!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 had a great stay at Ginger's condo. The location is ideal for Grand Teton National Park, which we actually enjoyed more than Yellowstone. There is an upscale market nearby for any needed provisions or wine (!) and the condo is a great value for the local area. We know this because when the fires in Glacier altered our itinerary and we wanted to extend our stay we couldn't find anything comparable (Ginger's condo was booked).

Beyond the great location and accommodation, Ginger is a super owner/host. She provided great local information, tips and insight. She also went out of her way to help us with anything we needed. A top notch stay all around!

Owner's Response: Alison, Thank you so much for your detailed review, and it was a pleasure to work with you. One of the most significant things you mentioned is that you enjoyed Grand Teton even more than Yellowstone. Indeed, Yellowstone is a gem, and not to be missed. But the best advice I can give folks planning a summer or fall trip to this area is to consult with a friend, neighbor or acquaintance who has done this trip and ask them how they would allocate their time between the two parks. Almost 50% of our renters are people who have been to the area, but over allocated time to Yellowstone (only so many days you can spend in crowds on wooden walkways near thermal features), and under allocated time on the beautiful mountain trails of Grand Teton National Park. Don't take it from me, please ask someone you know and trust who has been there how they would suggest you plan your time this trip. I really think you'll find that helpful. Alison, thanks for staying with us and hope you'll come stay with us again.

Great place, great views, free moose!!

  • 5 of 5

This place is great! It had everything we needed for our weeks stay (except food, of course). Very clean and very well equipped. The views out the back of the place are fabulous, and we were even visited by a mama and baby moose right off our back deck! What a great memory. We would recommend this place to everyone. It's very convenient to Grand Teton National Park and to downtown Jackson. And the owner Ginger has been a joy to deal with!
