The view of the ocean from deck was fantastic. House was spacious and welcoming
The location is marvelous. To be a few feet from beach was great. Kitchen had everything you might need. Views of the ocean from living room was great fun. One of the best vacation rentals I have ever experienced. We will be back!
Spacious, perfect location, clean and comfortable
This is an excellent spot in Crescent City. Tons of room, well stocked in linens and cookware. Easy access to the beach and the parks, no noise, no traffic, just great views. Diana is very helpful and everything went smoothly.
Great Central Location
Redwoods to the East, the Ocean to the West. We loved it. Clean, Cozy and affordable.
Visiting the Redwoods with a nice spacious home
Our family of 4 (two little kids ages 1&3) had a wonderful time at this property and was pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was here! The views were truly grand and watching them from our bedroom window or balcony was awesome! The view of the lighthouse was nice as well. This house was well stocked with even the little touches like Kleenex, dishwasher soup, paper towels, washing detergent/dryer sheets, lots of extras in the kitchen, extra blankets, a fan, towels, books etc. Everythig was nice and clean-location was great-there are a few places to eat in Cresent city (sit in or fast food) and also a couple grocery stores very close (all within a few minutes). If you are looking for a place to hike the Redwoods--location here is perfect! Less than a 10 min drive and we saw some of the largest Redwoods near/in Jedediah smith state park-it was so awesome to hike all day and be so close to "home" so we had plenty of time to relax instead of a long drive back. The Redwood national and state park information center is also here in cresent city and it has a nice souvenir store along with people to point you in the right direction as far as trails go. We did the Stout loop trail, some of the river trail & then we hiked the Mills creek trail---(also walked Howland Hills road due to it being closed to cars-last day it opened so we drove down it as well)--all soo beautiful. Back to the house....The upstairs master bedroom had enough space for us that we didn't bother using the bedroom downstairs. We set up a pack n play and made a bed from the extra blankets on the floor for our kiddos-they loved it and there was STILL plenty of space for them to run around and play in the room! We would recommend this house and would return if in the area again! We also would bring my parents as we didn't realize how much room we would have. Thanks for a great clean spacious house to call our own for a few days!
We really appreciate the remarks that visitors take the time to leave for us. We love to be a part of creating pleasant memories. Thank You.
Great location and views!
Very roomy house for 4 adults. The location is great, with nice views of the ocean and lighthouse. One night we had a stunning sunset!
The house is well appointed, nice furnishings, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything for cooking. Well, except the hand can opener needs to be replaced Sorry I forgot to mention this, Diana!
Diana was always easy to deal with, through questions, booking, and after. Any detail, and she took care of it promptly!
We loved the master bedroom, upstairs. There was a balcony with even better views!
The house was tidy, but not quite spotless. This has been addressed, so think it was a one time oversight. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding, if needed.
The ones using the lower bed said it was squeaky. Not sure how to resolve that one!
I would definitely recommend, due to location, amenities, and service!
We were in this area for 4 nights to do some hiking in the Redwoods. BTW, I would highly recommend doing the one mile hike at Fern Forrest. Beware, it is an 8 mile drive down a bumpy gravel road! Well worth the drive, though, and we had a sedan.
Perfect Ocean Family Stay
I can't say enough about this place. First of all, the manager of the property is a sweet heart. She was always there to help out and answer questions. And she worked with me on sending my deposit late due to the fact that they don't take CC. So just remember this when booking. But worth the extra little effort by far. We stayed here with our two young adult kids for a week. It was heaven on earth. Location is right across from pebble beach with so many treasures to hunt, you don't even have to drive any where else. It is also very close to Smith National Forrest where we walked through the magnificent redwoods and swam in one of the many swimming holes in an emerald river. We felt at home and comfortable the whole time, cooking together and laughing together and exploring the unique setting and local shops and eateries in Crescent City. Lovely people, and lovely place. Will come back! Sooner than later we hope.
