Excellent Beach front property

This was perfect for our family of 4. Our children loved the beach, and pools at the resort. The condo was clean, bright and had lots of space for ua to enjoy. Will definitely stay again.

Fit our needs

Condo met our needs nicely. Elevators were intermittently out of service through our stay. I realize it’s hard to clean the grit of sand from the floors, but they were well coated when we checked in.

Good location

The view was beautiful. The balcony was not in the sun (march). The back bedroom bed was noisy and uncomfortable. The fans were quite and effective. The property is nice wuth the pool and hottub. The location to Johns pass and the beach are great.

Great vacation!

It was so nice to stay somewhere that was sincerely kept clean. Everything we needed was available to us including beach supplies. We arrived to town much earlier than expected and the owners were so understanding allowing us to check in as soon as possible. We would definitely stay here again.

Great!

Thank you Sunset Vista's for great time. It's our second time in this condo. Apartament was great for our family. The washing machine was a little too loud. I recommend. We will definitely go back there again.

Great condo. Kinda far from the action though.

Booked this because of the proximity to the beach & water. Condo was great, had everything we needed. But we had to take Uber (before we found out about the FreeBeachRides service) to most restaurants, bars with anything going on. If you don’t eat at Willy’s down on St Pete’s beach, you haven’t lived. It took a local to point us there. Great vacation.

treasure island

Sunset Vistas was a beautiful resort, very friendly front desk person that tried her very best to help us get in our condo. The managing company's email went to my junk, so i did not receive it and could not get in our condo. She tried calling and the call center called more than 6 different numbers but noone would answer or all back. This was about 1am, finally received a text about 8:15am. Thankfully security was able to get in the condo and let us in.

Sunset Vistas great but condo had issues

Great location on the beach. Great view from condo. The condo was nicely decorated, but dishwasher did not work, floor was very dirty, above stove light was out, curtain fell off the wall in bedroom, and the washer was very old and smelled musty. Called realty management and some one came out to fix the curtain rod and stove light. They had some one come to clean the floors, but they left filthy towels In our washer! The dishwasher was never addressed by them! The staff at Sunset Vistas seems great, but this was a privately owned unit that is cleaned and managed by an outside source.

Close to the beach

Our apartment at the Sunset Vistas building was nicely maintained, clean and comfortable. It was nice being so close to the Gulf, although it was apparent to me that the several different kinds of birds I saw right at the water line have a harder time adjusting to all the people who are moving around in the shallow water where they are feeding. I appreciated having light-blocking curtains on the bedroom windows, but unfortunately the curtains in the room where we slept didn’t do a good job of blocking the light coming through our one window. However the beds were comfortable and all the appliances worked well. We probably won’t choose a Sunset Vistas apartment for our next vacation, mainly because the bedrooms were a little smaller than we hoped, the light that came in around the light-blocking curtains, and the very little storage space in the kitchen cabinets for our food and belongings. A small pantry would have made the kitchen much better.

Not worth every penny

We love this property but not unit 511S. This unit has very uncomfortable living room furniture, a missing smoke detector in the master bedroom, the hot/cold in the second bathroom faucet was switched, standing water in the master bath while showering and the plumber who came to clear the clog didn’t bring any tools. He used a steak knife from the kitchen and then put it back in the drawer after he used it. The TV in the living room had to be replaced but wasn’t until the second day of our trip. There was what looked like blood stains on the bed sheets and someone else’s hairs at the end of the bed that we didn’t notice until stripping the bed. We had to purchase our own cleaning supplies to clean the master bathroom toilet seat which has a pee stained lid. The pillows all felt like rolled up blue jeans they were so hard. The positive? The bath towels were wonderful and there was plenty of hot water. The heat didn’t really work though and there wasn’t really any blankets. Lastly, the water pressure and shower heads are flat out terrible. Please consider all of this when booking.

Nice place but poor service

The location was very nice, right on the beach. I was not impressed with the property management company. They sent us the wrong check in instructions and were not responsive to our service needs. Will not rent from them again.

Good amenities

The room was dirty. The shower curtain was filthy but they did replace it on the 3rd day. The blender was covered in a brown sticky substance and the beds had no mattress pads or blankets. There was a leak under the kitchen sink and they left the dirty smelly towels there to soak it up. They did fix the leak but left the smelly towels. I felt like everyone had the code to our room. Did not feel secure.

Family Vacation 2021

The property was exactly what was advertised that made our stay comfortable. It was nice to have the starter kit of supplies cause we got in late and didn't wanna go to store. My family thanks you for everything and we will stay again.

Poorly maintained

Our family enjoyed Treasure Island and the location of Sunset Vistas; however, the particular unit we rented was poorly maintained and ultimately we had to check out and stay elsewhere. The A/C did not work well and our condo never reached a temperature below 75 day or night, even on a day where it was cool following a storm. The dryer was so loud that no one could be in the condo while it ran and the second day that I tried to wash towels, the washer stopped working. Thankfully the people at Sandcastle Realty were easy to work with and quickly refunded me for the remainder of our trip

Great spring break getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay with our two teenage daughters. The beach was amazing and there were lots of good places to eat nearby. The pool area got a bit busy at times, but it was spring break time. The little outdoor bar near the pool and the ice cream place next door were definite bonuses.

Nice Place

Sunset Suites is in a nice location, right in Gulf Blvd and on the beach. The unit has a nice gulf view. It is a little smaller than I thought from the pics. I would have liked a little more amenities: e.g. bath bars that actually lather, tissues.

Great condo, esp. for a family vacation

This is a wonderful condo in a great location. The condo itself looks just like the pictures. It was very clean and the view is lovely. The kitchen and closets are well stocked. We definitely appreciated the beach chairs and beach toys for the kids. The size of the condo is great for a family (we’re a family of 4) and the location can’t be beat. The beach is right there and so is a lovely ice cream place. We also enjoyed the pool. The atmosphere around the property was very relaxed. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back.
