Carriage House Apartment- bloques llenos de luz a la playa y el paseo marítimo

Nuestro apartamento 1928 cochera está situado en la histórica Beach Hill. Ha sido recientemente reformado, sin embargo, gran parte del encanto original se ha mantenido. Es un lugar perfecto para familias o pequeños grupos - cerca de muchos lugares de interés turístico sin embargo ubicados en una zona residencial.
Playa de Cowell (bodyboard y surf), el carril de Vapor (surf avanzado), Monterrey Centro de Exploración, Boardwalk, muelle, guerreros estadio de baloncesto, en el centro, y el West Cliff Drive (moto / caminar camino a lo largo del océano) están a un rápido 5 minutos a pie de nuestra casa.
El apartamento está situado en un jardín privado, lejos de la calle principal, detrás de nuestra casa. Esperamos que les encantará este barrio histórico tanto como lo hacemos!

A perfect place to stay for a beach trip. Clean, comfortable, convenient, and the owners thought of all the details (or stuff for s'mores). Truly great place to stay, we'll definitely come again.

The location was superb, with easy access to the boardwalk, wharf, beaches and coffee shops. Exploring the area was incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this rental - great amenities (beach accessories, treats/smore's making kit, outdoor fire pit), ideal location (5-10 min walk to beach/boardwalk and downtown Santa Cruz in safe neighborhood), great hosts (friendly and responsive, provided excellent recommendations on restaurants/things to do). Hands down one of the best stays we've had! Highly recommend!

Great Location with lots of fun extras

This quaint little carriage house was the perfect set up for 2 adults and 2 teen boys. The location was excellent being walking distance to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the beach and the river trail. The house is comfortable and fully stocked with everything that we needed and more. The garage is loaded with everything needed for a beach day and the thoughtful basket of smores ingredients created a fun night by the firepit. A definite recommendation!

A lovey two bedroom apartment. Close to the beach and it has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Sarah was a great host and we would not hesitate to recommend this place to others

Clean, comfy, conveniently located

We added this to the end of our Yosemite adventure as a little R&R before heading home, and thought the kids would love some beach time. This place exceeded expectations! The carriage house is very clean and has so many nice little touches. This place is perfect for kids- ours really loved the boogie boards at the beach and the games when we were relaxing. It’s a nice, short walk to the beach and boardwalk area. The beds are very comfortable, and the temperature was perfect for opening a window at night. The owner is very kind and accommodating. This is definitely a place I would return, but spend a whole week next time.

Lovely and quaint

A beautiful home and location. The accomodations suited all our needs. The only negative was the shower pressure but honestly wasn't that big of a deal. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot for a family to enjoy Santa Cruz!

The property was well kept, stocked with everything we needed (and more), and was quiet, safe and secure. The owners were friendly and helpful. Only a short walk into downtown and to the boardwalk. We all had a great time!

Great location and comfortable beds!!!

The apartment was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. They were generous with a laundry room, fire pit, and surf boards although we didn’t use any. The street parking was not a problem. There are steep stairs to the apartment but they were well lit and a good hand rail (my mother who is 83 was with me). The location near the boardwalk was great for morning walks.

Santa Cruz visit

Great property, close to the beach and all amenities. Great information provide by Sarah which helped us chose where to shop, dinner, etc. the hosts were more than happy to recommend places to go to.. Property clean and well maintained. Great facilities, laundry, beach stuff we could borrow.. even a pint of milk and coffee & snacks on arrival.. Definitely gets our family recommendation.

Difficulty entering the property

The rental is located behind the main residence. The house numbers were not present on the street and also I had not received directions how to get through the gate. Luckily, my tech savvy brother was present and able to access a Wi-Fi hotspot so I could email our dilemma to the owner who was home. she came out straight away and helped us get inside. This was our only problem. Everything else went smoothly and the rental was lovely.

A Perfect Vacation

The Carriage House is an absolute dream. It is a quintessential beach cottage offering a peaceful stay yet a quick walk to all the excitement and foodie heaven that Santa Cruz offers. The owners are very kind and helpful people, their recommendations and venue descriptions were spot on. The location comes with a bevy of unexpected amenities as well. The house is airy, bright and extremely comfortable. We cannot wait to go back!!

Family getaway

This was our second time here and again it did not disappoint. Sarah was just as responsive and accommodating. The cottage was lovely and comfortable for our family of 4. We were couple of blocks from everything so we walked everywhere and never had to worry about parking. And our favorite part was ending our trip with a fire in the backyard and making s’mores the night before we left. This may become an annual ritual. We will be back. Thank you, Sarah!

Our house is located in historic Beach Hill. It is between downtown and the beach and boardwalk. While you are here you can walk or bike to just about anything in town. We are close to museums, parks, movie theaters, live theater, sporting events, and shops, as well as the ocean, wharf, and boardwalk.
