Recently added to the HomeAway website, The Villa Felice Estate is composed of two buildings — the main villa and the Casa Felice — set in extensive private grounds with large swimming pool and wonderful views of Tuscany's rolling hills, fields and vineyards.

-VILLA FELICE-

Built in the early 1800's as a holiday retreat for the powerful Fierli family of Cortona, the main villa has been elegantly and painstakingly restored and upgraded by the current owners over the last 10 years. Full of art and elegant furniture, the main villa sleeps up to 10 people over three floors, which benefit from underfloor heating and radiators during the cooler months of the year. There is an extra twin room that is suitable for 2 young children.

From the main entrance you access a majestic entrance hall, with a wonderfully chequered black and white marbled floor. Doors lead to the study, living room, dining room, beautiful kitchen and large and spacious ground floor WC.
The original stone staircase leads from the ground floor to the first floor, where you enter a beautiful and very large lounge with parquet flooring, and a small balcony overlooking the main entrance.

Doors lead from the lounge to the master suite with marble floors, double bedroom and its own beautiful lounge, bathroom and fireplace.

There is also a second large master bedroom with elegant bathroom and a stunning painting of the Annunciation commissioned by the owner from a local artist

The traditional stone staircase continues from the first floor to the second floor of the villa, with marble floor and three further double bedrooms, with large ensuite bathrooms and a TV area.
There is also a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.

-CASA FELICE-

Traditionally known as "La Fattoria", where the estate's wines were made and stored, Casa Felice sleeps up to 10 people over two floors. Some extra beds can be made available to bring the total to 12 or 13 people.

Life at the Villa Felice Estate tends to center on the poolside patio at the front of Casa Felice, and from there glass doors lead to the main entrance hall of Casa Felice with its central table and beautiful chandelier above. Arches lead through to a bright and spacious lounge with comfortable sofa and armchairs. It is not unusual for children, tired from hours in the pool, to take a siesta here, before launching inot the pool again. The ground floor also has a large formal dining area and a fantastic kitchen with centre island and separate food storage room/pantry

A stone staircase leads to the first floor with five bedrooms and lounge with TV and wifi internet access. There are four bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with the option of a double bed or two single beds.

From every room the stunning views continue.

Attached to the Casa there is a large laundry with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.

-OUTDOORS-

A gated driveway lined with 100 year-old pine trees leads directly to Villa Felice, past 150 young olive trees. The moments of driving slowly along the driveway serve as a portal to leave the world behind and enter the paradise of the Estate. The main entrance features a magnificent bronze angel by renowned Bolivian sculptor Pablo Eduardo as its centre-piece, and foretells the beauty and art that is about to welcome you.

Set in extensive private landscaped gardens, Villa Felice enjoys breathtaking views in almost every direction and a special view of Cortona and of the rolling hills of Tuscany. The property offers several areas which are perfect to enjoy eating “al fresco”, as well as a BBQ and beautiful large swimming pool with Roman steps, which is open from May to October. The pool fully complies with all recent Italian legislation and is fenced to enhance safety of young children. Guests love the pool fence, which they say allows them to relax properly, even with young children around.

There is a large upper terrace with table and chairs which leads down to the Casa, where there is a pergola looking directly on to the swimming pool with sun-beds, umbrellas and spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside. At the corner of the Estate lies a huge patio that is perfect for dancing the night away. The property managers can set up tables and chairs here for dinner for over 20 people.
