We absolutely loved our stay at this charming villa just outside of Cortona. Anna Maria is, without a doubt, one of the most genuinely hospitable people I’ve ever met—and after a long career in hospitality, that’s saying a lot. Honestly, many hotels could learn a thing or two from her level of care and welcome. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile, gracious hospitality, and thoughtful touches: a bottle of local wine, dessert wine, and delicious bruschetta—such a welcome treat after a long drive from Rome. The property itself is rustic in the most authentic and comfortable way. Surrounded by blooming roses, giant rosemary bushes, and peaceful olive trees, it felt like stepping into a storybook. The location is ideal—just a few minutes from Cortona—and we used it as our home base for unforgettable day trips to Assisi, Siena, and Montepulciano. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of our return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a true Tuscan experience with unmatched hospitality.
