If you just need a large place to land for a lot of people, this is a great option. Close to many conveniences and access to the city, this house provides a spacious and safe place for everyone to come home to. No modern luxuries or helpful elements for large groups in this home though-so plan to just use this for a home base.
We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very nice and helpful. If we ever go back to Boston, we will definitely stay again. The only thing that was challenging was the driveway parking. There is only room for one car at the top of the driveway unless you have smaller cars that can fit in the lower part of the driveway. Other than that, it was perfect! Thanks again!
This review is for our original booking, which was canceled the day before arrival due to a reported issue and resulted in us being moved to a different property. While we appreciated having an alternative, the experience was disappointing. When we arrived, there was a maintenance worker inside the unit working on the heat without any prior notice. The property also did not appear to be properly cleaned—there were issues with the floors and beds, and we even found a bug inside the Keurig machine. The heating problem was never fully resolved, and the basement remained very cold for the duration of our stay.We reached out to the host during our stay to share these concerns, but did not receive a meaningful response.Overall, this experience fell short, especially given the last-minute change.
Had a family get together for dad's 80th birthday which included a red sox game. They won! Nice and clean, nice neighborhood. Local market across the street was convenient. Lots of room for cars in driveway but very, very narrow. Living room in finished basement, not on the main floor and very narrow steps to get down to basement. Mild concern with dishwasher, but I will report that to the manager so they can repair-we didn't really need it. Overall, definitely worth it!
Very happy with our stay, while I did not receive communication from the host it was not necessary with the self check-in, but it would be good to have verification of the stay. The house is nice, occupying the basement level and first floor, potentially with people on the second floor? Two large beds downstairs with the living room and a bathroom. The rest is upstairs, with three separate entrances. Parking is a big plus able to park probably 6-7 cars in the driveway, but it is extremely narrow and you will need to assist getting in or out. Close to some restaurants and shops. Was very clean and some amenities were provided. Very happy with our stay and a very very affordable price for the Boston metro area for a large group!
