Our Beach Lovers now are Lovers of the views from this wonderful water way. We were amazed at huge sail boats, Pirate ships to dolphins not to mention Drawbridge. Fishing from Dock fun too. We’ll be back!
We loved the Bayfront Cottage. The view was beautiful and it was a great location. We loved being able to walk to the historic district, while being out of the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend this rental.
We enjoyed our stay at the Bayfront Cottage. Fished everyday off the dock and caught mostly catfish. We saw dolphin and sea turtles daily and one day a manatee swam right past the dock. Check-in was easy, parking was great, and it is located in one of the best areas for visiting St. Augustine or the beach. We were a little disappointed in the master bath shower - there is no door or shower curtain. No bathmat is provided. A great place to relax and enjoy views of the water and old St. Augustine!
We absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was so clean and cute and location is absolutely perfect and close to everything. We mainly wanted to stay here so we could have our own private dock for fishing as my 11 year old son is obsessed with fishing. We caught lots of sheepshead, flounder, blue fish, toad fish, catfish, eels and stingrays. Even caught a big shark down the road in Vilano! We had fun playing ping pong too. We would definitely like to come back for another weekend sometime soon. Thank you for making everything simple and for providing a wonderful spot for our family's spring break vacation
The location here is fantastic. It’s just minutes from the beach, great restaurants both on the island and a quick walk across the Lions Bridge to the old city. The sunsets are gorgeous from the back yard and there is a long dock to enjoy the water and the ships - and even some dolphins/porpoise on occasion. It sleeps 6 but note it is a cottage. We had a very active response when we had door issues and they were fixed within the hour. As far as amenities, they have plenty of both bath and beach towels and the beds are comfortable. The showers were not spectacular and there were no bath mats, so we ended up buying those. Other then lack of wine glasses and utility knives and cutting boards, which we also bought and left, the house was fine, location amazing.
Wonderful location and a short walk or uber to the historic downtown city center. We loved the dock and saw dolphins swimming in the bay. The view from the backyard is breathtaking and sunsets are a must see. The only one thing I don’t like was that someone entered the home when we were not there and I was not notified They left the side gate open and turned off the A/C. Not a big deal but it would have been nice if I got a call or a message so we expected it. I am looking forward to a return trip !

Hi Jason- we apologize. When guests call in with requests someone from our team answers as they are in the area, unless given specific instructions to not enter the home if no-one is at the property.
Our family had a truly enjoyable stay at this VRBO property in St. Augustine! The location is absolutely fantastic, making it incredibly convenient—just 10-15 minutes to everything we wanted to do. We especially loved being able to walk to numerous restaurants and even stroll over the Bridge of Lions into the historic district. Seeing the Castillo de San Marcos from the dock was a special treat, and we were thrilled to spot dolphins playing while enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The property itself felt elderly and kid friendly, with easy accessibility that made it comfortable for everyone in our group. The house itself was super clean, and we found the beds to be very comfortable, ensuring good rest after our adventures. We did encounter a couple of minor hiccups during our stay; the smoke detectors went off a few times in the middle of the night (which we resolved by removing batteries and reporting the issue, declining immediate repair). Additionally, the washing machine stopped working and leaked, which was an inconvenience since we'd packed lightly anticipating laundry access.Despite these small issues, the overall experience was wonderful. We appreciated the easy parking with plenty of space and the good communication with the property managers. We absolutely recommend this property and would happily stay here again. Thanks for having us!
