Perfect Home Away from Home

This home provided the space and comfort for our extended family. The owners have created a home with multiple gathering areas for all of our needs. The long farm table overlooking the pool started our days for a family breakfast. The pool area with multiple umbrellas, lounge chairs and chaise lounges was our daily hang out for swimming, reading and talking. The table and grill area was our lunch, happy hour and late night spot. The owners were immediately responsive to any questions and recommended excellent spots for lunch and dinner. Lastly, the location can't be beat. We were central to all of our hiking, baseball and entertaining needs. Well done. We recommend this house 100%.

The location was excellent for us as family lives close by. However, there are some maintenance and housekeeping issues that need to be addressed and I'll list them for the owner's benefit. They impacted our stay somewhat, but had we had other people with us, it would have been more problematic. 1. Front door light doesn't work making entry dark at night. 2. A plant along the front walkway needs trimmed. 3. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, and there was 1 pod in the container. We left some extras from our family, but had to run the dishwasher upon arrival. 4. The bathroom in the hallway need attention - cover plate was missing from the faucet in the tub/shower - it was laying on the toilet tank; the faucet - especially hot was very hard to operate and needs attention; the soft-soap dispenser was filled with water. 5. There was no laundry detergent at all, so we were unable to start laundry when we left. 6. The hood light over the stove is burned out. 7. The living room drapes were not completely on the drapery rod, and the hangers are pulling out of the wall, so we didn't try to fix the drapes. 7. Hedge along the pool needs trimmed as it's very hard to walk all the way around the pool. While this sounds negative, it's not

Great house in a great location

This is a lovely home in walking distance to lots of fun restaurants and bars. We celebrated a friend’s 50th. The house has nice sitting areas, a spacious kitchen and an awesome pool area. A few things to note: All of the TVs are android TVs. This only matters because we were unable to mirror a slide show from Apple devices. The recycling and trash is a bit unclear. They aren’t marked and the cans are the same. The kitchen is lacking a few staples - there’s no blender (that we could find), no liquid measuring cup and a few other random things that our group needed for cooking (this is a group that loves to cook). Something with the grill was not working. We couldn’t get it to light. I don’t think it was out of gas but we didn’t want to mess with it too much. These things are minor and did not impact our fun but wanted to pass on the feedback!

The most amazing spot! Easy to get to some great restaurants, grocery stores, and a super cozy stay. Perfect for a larger group, and the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating.

Could not have been better!!

We were in town (2 families) for a swim meet at the Phoenix Country Day School pool and this location was absolutely PERFECT!! We could not have asked for more and the communication with the owner (Steve) was amazing. The house and yard were quiet and it had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedroom setup was really good for two families and everyone agreed the beds were comfortable. Hard to ask for much more. No question we will be back to this property for the next area meet!!

Spring Break 2022

Stayed in March. The house was great. My only complaint was the weather had not warmed the pool. The kids did get in....because they are kids. The flow of the house is nice. Very well equipped with basics to get you started. I would recommend this house for any type of get together.

Girl's Weekend in Phoenix

The house was perfect for our sisters/girls weekend. Lots of space to hang-out and relax, beds were all comfy, outdoor pool area had lots of space and great view of Camelback Mountain. The owner was excellent at communicating and very kind with regards to early check-in and late check-out. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Central Location

This property was perfect for our needs. Bachelorette Party weekend. The open concept and flow between the living room, kitchen, dining area and double doors opening to the pool was great. Three bathrooms made getting ready very effortless. Lots of room for a private yoga instructor to do a lesson for 8 comfortably. Communication with host was timely and helpful. We had a great stay!

Amazing house, memorable stay!

My 3 best friends and I rented this property for a much needed girls' weekend. The house is absolutely beautiful! We loved the decor and couldn't stop talking about all the cute decorative details in the home. The kitchen was well appointed and the sofas, chair and beds were all very comfortable. There were so many options of places to eat and drink inside. The dining table was huge and the 2 different areas with bar stools were very comfortable to sit and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. We loved lounging by the pool during the day and eating at the outdoor dining table in the evening. Steve, the owner, was very helpful and recommended local restaurants to enjoy. It was very obvious that Steve and his wife want the best VRBO experience for their guests. We are so lucky to have picked this gem for our special weekend. We plan on making it an annual trip.

Family trip to Pheonix

Our family of 5 (wife and I and 3 college age kids) stayed at this property for 4 nights. The house is awesome (exactly as portrayed in the pictures - spacious clean and comfortable). Fantastic location! Minutes away from great restaurants, bars, shopping, hiking camelback, Top Golf, etc... Property owner, Steve, was over the top accommodating as well. We couldn’t have been happier with our selection of where we stayed on our trip.

Large home and great location

We are a family of five and loved this home. The kids all had their own space in the house. The pool was a perfect size. We swam during the day and there was perfect lighting for night swimming. The backyard is so private that it felt like we were the only people in the area. There are great restaurants in the neighborhood and super fast for Grubhub deliveries. Kids don't want to go home! What a perfect vacation!

Excellent stay in an adorable house.

We really loved our stay in this house! Steve was a dream to communicate with and the house had everything you could possibly need. There was a lot of open space in the house for our 2 kiddos to run around. The beds were comfortable and the separate living room space was very nice. Steve even suggested a really good gelato place that we checked out. Grocery store was close by along with several restaurants. Our favorite was Dough Bird! It is on the corner of a very busy street so I would suggest bringing a sound machine-we slept just fine with ours in tow. We were really hoping for a lot of pool use but it was ice cold - we thought with 90° + days it would be warm but I guess that’s just the time of year we chose to travel. Neither of these 2 things would have made us not rent in the future. A great owner with outstanding communication was the cherry on top of our wonderful stay!

Great location

The location was great. Ended up being a little too cool to use the pool, but the backyard was great. Communication with the property manager was wonderful. Had a little snag with the locking system, but was able to get a house key and use that. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend anyone looking for the perfect house for anyone to stay.

Wonderful property

We had 4 couples stay, wonderful time, plenty of room for all of us to lounge around and hang out in the common areas. The property manager checked in on us a few times and was great and very helpful!! Would strongly recommend this rental.
