Land's End - A wonderful, beautiful location

Resort Rental was prompt and professional with our calls when we needed help with the air conditioning. The condo, furniture and furnishings are comfortable and well decorated. Fully functional kitchen, but could use some new utencils and a new set of drawers. The views out of the patio are so wonderful every single day! The safety staff are kind and friendly. And, the pool is always immaculate and well maintained. We highly recommend this lovely place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has a very nice ocean front view. It is much more outdated then others we have stayed in at lands end. The sliding doors could use some attention as well as the bathrooms. I washed all the bedding when we got there because I saw some bugs on the beds when we looked through the bedding. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The screen door on the front door was nice. The grounds and pool are huge and beautiful!

Land’s End was very nice. Our unit had a wonderful view but that was all.

Our unit had a beautiful view. The unit needs lots of upgrading. There was mold in master shower, mattress had big dips, peeling paint. Dishes were dirty need to be cleaned. All appliances are old, over was dirty and needed to be cleaned. There were no beach chairs or beach towels for renters to use. Would not stay there again

Not suitable for extended stay.

The overall property was good but the room we rented was not suitable for the stay. It was not properly prepared for guest. The room had buckets placed in the master bedroom in preparation of leaks and it did leak during rain storms. The mattress which I questioned from an earlier complaint weather it had been replaced - was not replaced and was rather lumpy. Beach was not cleaned daily??? Renovating would help.

Lands End in May

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fifth stay at Lands End and we always enjoy it there. Even though the condo we stayed in wasn’t updated it was clean and mostly comfortable. It had the comfort height toilets and we appreciated that. However the ice maker did not work and there was no ice cube trays so for a month we had to buy ice. Also the porch door screeched something terrible every time we opened it or closed it. For two weeks the renters above us were very very noisy. I had to complain to the gate guard. I will try to get the top floor next time.

A Wonderful Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lands End is a wonderful spot, and we were very happy in #303, building 8. Comfortable furniture, beautiful decorating...we really enjoyed our time in the condo. Our only suggestion to the owner is to get a TV cable package which includes HD on all the channels. We were here during the NCAA basketball tournament, and watching games on "non" HD channels was very frustrating. We would recommend Woody's Waterfront, Sloppy Joe's and Back Fin Blu restaurants for delicious, local food.Lands End's grounds are beautiful - loved swimming in the pool, and walking the boardwalk. We had a great vacation. Resort Rentals was easy to work with-their staff members are friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning next year.

Just a place to stay

I read the reviews before deciding to stay here so I kind of knew what to expect. However, when I go on vacation I want a WOW factor when I walk into my vacation rental. That isn’t this unit. I want to lay down on the bed after a long day of traveling or sight seeing all day and say “ahhhhh, this is heavenly”. That isn’t this unit. It would have been nice to have decent patio furniture to relax on and watch the sunset off of the balcony. Instead there were 4 cheap white plastic chairs and a cheap white plastic table. Most other units had a more relaxing place to sit on the balcony. Property owners need to keep travelers needs in mind. Have games (cards, cribbage, backgammon, ect) available for rainy days or times when we just want to chill in a/c after being in the sun. We had to buy a bottle of liquid dish soap so we didn’t have to start the dishwasher for a couple of glasses. We had to buy more toilet paper. The master bedroom patio door was a struggle to open and looks like it had water damage on that wall which should be looked into! And yes, the bathrooms really should be updated. Alll that being said, Lands End was a nice resort. The beach is not crowded. You can borrow chairs and umbrellas from the resort rental where you get your keys. The pool area was nice. We played pickle ball. It felt very safe there. Downfall, the bar across the canal played very loud music til late at night Thursday through Sunday! I’d stay at Lands End again but I’d choose a “Premiere Host” next time.

Outdated and Broken Down Room with Amazing View and Location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had rented a different propery in Bldg 10 but was told a couple weeks before our stay that it had been sold and was no longer being rented. We were offered the a new location in Bldg 8/#303. This was a smooth process and no issue for us at all. Check in was smooth and we were given lots of great information. Once we got to the room, we noticed it was a bit outdated but appeared ok at first glance. The View and location was perfect. After settling in, the issues became obvious. It was more than just being updated. The room was not the cleanest, the handle on the toilet was hanging off and it was always a game to see if it would ever fall off. Every door would drag the ground and leave paint and other material flaking off. The couch was falling aoart and breaking down. The blinds has missing pieces and if you tried to open/close them to go out onto the balcony, it was a bit difficult without losing additional pieces. When we would try to straighten up we noticed stuffing coming out. The beds are not awful but they will need replaced in the near future as you can tell they are getting broken down and worn. We know there are some really nice units as we had friends staying in our original building. We will definitely be back to this location but will be choosing a different unit unless this one has been updated. We loved this location, the beach, and entire property but this particulwr unit is one to miss.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was fine. But 2 problems. There were 4 remotes for the living room TV and no instructions. Also had to switch boxes to finally get it to work. We called the realtor on the day we checked in. Still waiting for a call back.Second, the ice and water dispenser did not work. And no ice trays provided.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit not clean. We had to clean dishes, remove lots of lint from dyer. Great view, ideal location, just not clean unit.
