The hosts were awesome. Stayed in communication with us the whole time, provided assistance immediately if needed, and allowed us to check out a lil later to assist us with our schedule. Washer and dryer work great, the house was clean and smelled fresh, nice hot water and good pressure, and the back yard was great for our pups. They even have a dog waste bin and bag dispenser in the back yard. Outstanding place to stay if you are needing to be in the Dayton area and at a great I mean great price! Will stay here again when in town!

The Vrbo I booked in the spring for the Air Force Marathon cancelled at the last minute, so I reached out to a few others just days before. The charm, decor and price of this eclectic space stood out to us and we went for it. Definitely the PERFECT choice!This was a terrific experience from beginning to end. The ease of check in, coffee pods in a bowl on the kitchen counter, water filter in the fridge, neatly displayed towels in the bathroom and even the glittery peacock wallpaper in the bedroom covered every detail one could think of. The host was immediately responsive to anything that came up and even took the time to leave little American flags in the potted plant on the porch that we appreciated upon returning from the marathon on the Air Force base (which was the weekend's event to honor my late father). The one thing (that is NOT within the host's control) that could have made this a stellar experience was total quiet. However, the next door neighbors had a very loud party on Saturday afternoon with at least 10-12 cars parked everywhere and obnoxiously loud booming music that caused things in the house to vibrate from the bass (this definitely made it difficult after the race to find the tranquility we needed after such an adrenaline rush in the morning).The location was ideal to zip around in an Uber to get to the Fitness Expo, Kroger's, the event's location, as well as to/from the airport. Overall, a great time in Dayton by a host who truly cares about you!

Regarding the Uproar, Festive Sounds and limited parking Saturday it was truly regrettable that the timing of your visit coincided with two festive events. We sympathize deeply that the festivities were an unwelcome interruption when needed rest after the race. We want to emphasize that this level of noise is NOT the norm for the Vrbo. The highly unusual sounds you heard were related to two major, rare community celebrations happening simultaneously nearby: the annual Belmont Days street festival and the once-in-a-century celebration of a local landmark's 100th anniversary. The loud, booming music was coming from these public town events, which created an excitement, festive atmosphere throughout the whole area that day. We want to reassure future guests that this specific noise incident was anormal resulting from these rare, specific community events. We are committed to providing a peaceful environment the rest of the year:) Celebrating Your Terrific Stay: Despite the Saturday disturbance, we are thrilled that you had a "terrific experience from beginning to end." Amazing place with even more amazing hosts! The place was smartly and beautifully styled. It was the perfect date weekend getaway for me, my partner, and our dog who happens to be 100lbs. The fenced in yard, the outdoor, and the fire pit were also and amazing outdoor space where we had coffee and let the dog get some fresh air. It was close to parks, local eateries, pool, bowling, historical places and much more! We would definitely go again and probably stay for longer!

This was a 3.5 star stay for me. Not bad. But not great. I was excited to stay here as the pictures looked awesome. Unfortunately, the place was musty, a window was left open when I got there, there was some trash that I picked up and threw away, bug covered windowsills and a used bar of soap beside the tub. Almost every air register was dirty. The snacks left, which was a sweet touch, were all months expired. There was mold in the window in the bathroom, almost every light was missing bulbs. The floors creak a ton. So much so I could hear the other units creak in mine. The couch in the living room was hard and cheap and not comfortable. So I spent my entire week remotely working from the bed. That’s just part of the odd list about this place.What I can say is, check in was smooth. Value was decent. The parking was good. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable.There is a decently stocked kitchen and you only have to drive 3-4 miles to reach most of the things you’d need. So the location was okay. If you’re only planning to be there for a few hours, it would be fine for 2 people to stay. But I can honestly say I was disappointed. Compared to other places I’ve stayed this would be at the bottom of my list.

I enjoy buying homes and fixing them up just like my dad used to do. Hosting brings me happiness, it allows me to be creative with home decor and offer a nice place to stay for families and their furry friends at a reasonable rate.
