This is the best of both worlds. A quiet place to stay, yet within a short walk to many attractions including a riverfront park with over 80 miles of biking and hiking trails along the rivers. Take a short walk to great restaurants and exciting nightlife.
Welcome to the Baird House in the Oregon Historical District in Dayton, Ohio. This is a friendly, walkable historic district with a great selection of restaurants and clubs within walking distance. There is a map of the District in the photos for the listing.

We was there for literally a place to sleep and shower as a stop for a longer a trip. Everything was as listed and we would stay agian.

Beautiful little apartment, tastefully decorated. Clean and spacious enough for 2-3 people. Easy street parking. Safe neighborhood. James was very communicative and a pleasure to deal with. Will stay again when back in the area.

Best ever! Exceeded the listing, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, cool decor, thoughtful touches and a safe neighborhood with a park and playground. We walked to dinner only a few blocks away. I recommend Lucky's. Everything was provided including tissue boxes which is uncommon and much appreciated!

Some of the books and decor things were really dusty, but otherwise it was pretty clean. It’s a small place good for two people. Though I wish the bedroom was separated- there is no door to the bedroom and there is also a way to look int the living room from the bedroom so not much in the way of privacy if you want it. Cute area though with a lot of nightlife within walking distance. Good for a short stay.

The only way you could look into the bedroom from the living room would be to climb on top of the bed. There is only an opening high up on a wall. Some of the original architecture was preserved in the historical building with that opening.

Very cute and charming little place. Perfect for what we needed. I am not a fan of Downtown type living, but it was the right price and right location for our stay.

I’m not sure why this guest would mark down the review when they chose to stay in the city. That choice has nothing to do with the property.

The apartment was immaculate. The kitchen was complete with every pot, pan, dishes and utensils needed. The bed was very comfortable.

The place was great for two. My wife enjoyed the beautiful plants, and outdoor seating was nice but too cold to use. Only issue we had was with heat, but the property manager responded immediately, and all was taken care of. Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. We walked to dinner at Jay's Seafood which was very good, but there is lots more in walking distance. Enjoy your time in the historic Oregon District!
