This is the best of both worlds. A quiet place to stay, yet within a short walk to many attractions including a riverfront park with over 80 miles of biking and hiking trails along the rivers. Take a short walk to great restaurants and exciting nightlife.
Welcome to the Baird House in the Oregon Historical District in Dayton, Ohio. This is a friendly, walkable historic district with a great selection of restaurants and clubs within walking distance. There is a map of the District in the photos for the listing.

Very nice place! The bed was incredibly comfortable—loved the firmness of the mattress paired with the soft sheets. The entire space was spotless, tastefully decorated, and in a wonderful neighborhood with street parking available right out front. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was just what we needed for our weekend in Dayton. So many good restaurants and shops within walking distance. However parking was difficult at times due to the busyness of the street.

We were driving a truck with a trailer and there was not adequate parking for that. Only street side parking so I would take that into consideration. The apartment was lovely and well maintained. It had a window unit for air conditioning and it was having a hard time keeping up with the heat. The bedroom got a little warm but there was a box fan that helped. Overall, it was great for our stay.

Absolute gem! Clean, safe neighborhood, walkable (we walked to four breweries), plenty of street parking. This place is wonderful, so cute, clean and charming. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is VERY clean and located nearby several eateries that are walking distance. Dayton was a surprise quaint city with lots of diversity. We would definitely choose this property again when we go back to visit.

Overall the property was fantastic in relation to accessing food and attractions. Makes for a very close convenient stay if you're going to a concert at the Heights. I will add one caveat if you have a bad back like me. The mattress was very soft and did not agree with me at all. I'm absolutely not going to take away from my rating because of that though. Just thought some people might like to be aware.

Cute, clean, well maintained space in a lovely and walkable neighborhood. A bit echo-y, if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs or a sound machine. The bedroom doesn't have blackout curtains which is fine for me, but if you need it dark, bring a mask. Bed was comfortable! Street parking was available close by each time we needed it. Absolutely recommend!

Beautiful little apartment, tastefully decorated. Clean and spacious enough for 2-3 people. Easy street parking. Safe neighborhood. James was very communicative and a pleasure to deal with. Will stay again when back in the area.

Best ever! Exceeded the listing, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, cool decor, thoughtful touches and a safe neighborhood with a park and playground. We walked to dinner only a few blocks away. I recommend Lucky's. Everything was provided including tissue boxes which is uncommon and much appreciated!

Very cute and charming little place. Perfect for what we needed. I am not a fan of Downtown type living, but it was the right price and right location for our stay.
