Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nicely renovated, with a lovely kettle pond beach just steps down the road. Convenient to shopping at Mashpee commons and not far from South Cape Beach state beach. Property managers were very responsive. Overall, great experience.
I loved this cottage so much. It had all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. The neighborhood was adorable, steps from Johns Pond, which is beautiful and peaceful. We loved going out on the paddleboard and relaxing in the backyard. We walked to Dunkin' and Dino's and took a short drive over to Mashpee Commons. Great communication from the property management company, very easy check out. Will definitely plan to stay again!
The house was clean and exactly how the pictures and descriptions showed. The pond, a short walk away, was a great spot to cool off and play in the sand. Close to nearby attractions. We had a wonderful week here and hope to come back again next year!
The house was fantastic — exactly as advertised and even better in person. It was in a great location, spotlessly clean, and offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The home was stocked with all the amenities we could possibly need, making us feel comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived. I would gladly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful Cape Cod getaway. While we usually stay closer to the elbow of the Cape, Mashpee truly exceeded our expectations with its charm, convenience, and beautiful surroundings.
We stayed here becuase my dad lives nearby. It's easy walking distance to a small grocery/liquor/convenience stores, Dunkin, and pizza. Nearby walkable beaches, but I think they might be private. We were with family who lives there and has passes. House was very comfortable and a
Our host was very pleasant and attentive right from the beginning. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher the first night. Dylan came down the next morning and resolved it quickly. The property was modern, spacious and very clean. We rented in Feb. so we didn't use the nearby beaches..etc. It was a spur of the moment to get away with our dogs. The chocolates, cider and flowers were a great touch upon our arrival. Electic fireplace is a plus. Very handy location for shopping, variety of restaurants, walks, stroll in Mashee Commons. Would be ideal for the summer. The house is roomy, has 3 floors. There's a top floor with lots of room for entertaining, games. Knowing ahead of time the yard would not be fenced in we brought our on pooper scooper and waste bags. We were able to check in earlier and check out later. This was a great find and a joy to spend a few days away.

House and neighborhood were great! After completing payment through VRBO, Grand Welcome/Superhog emailed and required way too much personal information in order to get arrival instructions, I would never book through them again. Also, called and left message for property manager at checkout to let him know that a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, (There was no fire nor smoke. Alarm was glowing orange showing a fault with the unit.) still no response.
Most of the properties for rent in this area tend to be musty lake cottages--so we were overjoyed when we checked in and saw this place is a wonderful exception. The house was well furnished, updated, and with really fun amenities (fire pit! screened in back porch!). We also enjoy that it was steps away from a small, clean sand beach at the nearby pond. Would highly recommend.
