Wonderful Gunflint Trail Lake House

The house is nicely situated on Poplar Lake will all the amenities that we needed for our four day stay. Thank you for providing us with a great north woods experience.

Lovely classic cottage in the woods . Beautiful view of the lake . Kitchen stocked with everything you need for meal prep. It was a bit small so having more than two people (and two dogs ) would be a little cramped . But it was perfect for us ! Amazing little bars and resultants right around the corner from the cabin. Definitely would recommend!

The Cabin You Dream Of

If you already love the Northwoods, this place is for you. The lake is beautiful and you can enjoy it both on water and off. We loved bringing our music out onto the screen porch each evening. The cabin is everything you need and full of surprises, like the porthole window and northern lights in the bathroom after dark! Kitchen well appointed and cozy gas fireplace for chilly nights. Poised on the edge of the boundary waters the cabin has easy access to great hiking, canoeing and fishing. We loved meals out at Poplar Haus and Trail Center Lodge. Don’t miss the cardamom rolls at Loon’s Nest Coffee.
