Our family found this home to be a wonderful place to rest and reflect after a day of sightseeing. The accommodations were comfortable, good showers and there was plenty of space for our large family to spread out and relax, play games or cook a meal in. Fantastic location, great food spots nearby and we made great use of the east falls metro station to get to the D.C. Mall, thus avoiding all issues with traffic and parking. I’ll be using the same place to stay the next time I take the fam (I have 4 kids). The place was very clean, and the host was very quick to respond to my every inquiry! I’d whole heartedly recommend this place for anyone who wanted a house to stay in to explore D.C.. the surrounding area and neighborhoods also seemed very safe and nice.

Family vacation

The host was so accommodating of our flight schedules and checked in with us regularly! The house was so clean and well organized for our family. On this trip we used only ride share and the distance was not an issue. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. This house was perfect!

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE

Very nice layout and plenty od room for a large family. We came from 3 different states for my Navy daughters College graduation. Good location to dind anything tou need. We used the train to get into DC. Best way to get around Thanks so much for the use of the house. Our only disappointment was not being able to sit on the deck.

Our family came together from multiple locations for a long weekend. From the beginning of the search until checking out, our entire family gave the experience 10/10. Jacky was kind and communicated within a few minutes when we had questions. All 3 families had plenty of space to gather in the evening and then separate for bedtime. Beds were very comfortable. We utilized the new appliances for breakfast and evening snack time. Off street parking was perfect for three vehicles. Quick access to the metro rail made our daily trips to Washington efficient. Easily would choose to stay in this lovely home again.

My first hosting was during the 2016 Obama inauguration with AirBnB. I was visiting the Australian Open for the first time while having 2 Australian students stayed at my vacant place near DC. It was a perfect house swap and we both attended our favorite international events. Ever since then, I've enjoyed the concept of living locally and feeling like a local.

As a fellow curious visitor in the world, my motto has always been: "Every traveler deserves a comfortable place to rest, relax, and reflect on their vacation, shared with close friends and family."

Why they chose this property

A very central location called "7 Corners" - the crossroads and intersection of Rt. 50, Rt. 7, I-66, etc. It is just 5 5-minute drive to the Metro that has a park & ride to reach the city. This is a quaint suburb of DC, which is less than 3/4 mile stroll downhill to the lake.

There are a lot of shops and restaurants at Eden Center and the Falls Church boutiques down Route 7. Annadale has great Korean food. It is also about 15-20 minutes from the museums.

Bluemont park has many sport fields, picnic areas, and playgrounds for children. There is also a water park, mini-golf, and batting cages nearby at Upton Hill regional park which is within 6 minutes drive.

On the 2nd floor is a large suite with a king size bed and private in-suite bathroom. There are 3 more bedrooms with 4 queen beds.

The double-wide driveway offers private parking that fits 4 cars comfortably.
