WHY OUR HOME IS SO SPECIAL TO US:
Being from the Bay Area, we've been visiting Lake Tahoe with family and friends for over 20 years. We always loved renting homes, and making them our own while we visited. It's how we fell in love with the area! Recently we bought a home in Kings beach, and are looking forward to sharing it with others. We're sure you'll fall in love with the area like we did!
Our driveway can accommodate 4 cars.
To ensure a transparent and wonderful stay, please review these important details:
- No Air Conditioning: Like most homes in Tahoe, our cabin does not have AC. We do offer portable fans, ceiling fans, and our windows have screens to bring in the cool mountain air at night. We do supply a portable fan for the lower levels and ceiling fans in both upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
- Mountain Life: Dust and pollen can accumulate quickly on outdoor furniture. The BBQ and other outdoor furniture may be stored and unavailable during winter (typically October- May) as the backyard is not accessible during the winter months (October - May).
- Weather & Travel: A 4WD/AWD vehicle, chains, or snow tires may be required in winter.
- Uncontrollable Events: We are not responsible for uncontrollable circumstances such as poor air quality during wildfire season or snow during winter. We strongly recommend purchasing external trip insurance, as our cancellation policy will be upheld.
- Safety: The home is equipped with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit for your safety.
- Please refer to the Rental Agreement for a full list of the local STR Rules.
- Emergency Power Outage Kit: Positioned over the fridge in the kitchen, this kit contains battery-operated candles, glow sticks, a portable battery, batteries, hand warmers, flashlights, and lanterns to keep you prepared during power outages.
