Located in quiet residential neighborhood close to the Charles river, our home is walking distance to Harvard Business School, and Harvard Stadium. The home is close to Harvard, MIT, Boston College, Boston University and many great restaurants and music / sport venues such as Fenway Park, Paradise Rock Club and Brighton Music Hall.

We have 4 bedrooms total
1. The master bedroom (2nd floor) has a queen bed, large desk and ensuite full bathroom.
Three additional bedrooms can be found on the 3rd floor.
2. The second bedroom on the has a queen bed and large mirrored closet with sliding doors
3. The third bedroom has floor to ceiling windows and a comfy queen bed
4. The fourth bedroom has an elegant queen size bed and desk for workspace + closet for your clothes.

We have 3 sparkling clean - designer porcelain bathrooms - one on each floor.
There are 2 comfy couches in the living room that guests can also sleep on. Please note that the couches are NOT pull-out sofas.

This energy efficient home has brand new heat pump units and air conditioning in every room that will give you your own personalized temperature quickly.

Two off-street private parking spaces are including in the rental. Street parking is free on nights and weekends with a limit of 2 hours free on weekdays.

Everything is new from the amenities to the structure. There is a big living room, dining room, and new stainless steel appliances. Enjoy the outdoor breeze on the back patio.

We are located just 3 miles from Fenway Park and downtown Boston, or about a 10 min car ride. Our home is located in an area call Allston, the choice neighborhood of Boston with history, shops, walking distance to excellent restaurants and close proximity to the Charles River, Harvard University, MIT, and Boston University. An advantage we offer you is the combination of a quiet scenic residence with frequent and speedy mass transit choice to a broad array of destinations in Boston or across the river in Cambridge.

Getting to downtown Boston is roughly 10 minutes driving (including Fenway Park).

The closest train station is Boston Landing, which takes you to Fenway Park (1 stop), Downtown Boston Back Bay (2 stops) and Chinatown / Financial District (3 stops).

You can walk to the closest grocery store - Trader Joe's - in 10 minutes. If you drive, there is free parking in the garage. Star Market is also close and convenient and has a wider selection of products (also free parking).

There is a public bus #86 or #66 that takes you to Harvard University and Harvard Square in less than 10 minutes

We are a 10-15 minute drive from Boston Logan International Airport and the cost by Uber/Lyft approx. $30.

A group of co-workers opted to stay here as opposed to booking a hotel during a conference taking place on BU campus. This worked perfect for our needs! Everyone had their own space, location was ideal, 6 minute drive to our conference, check-in and check-out process was smooth, and extra points for off-street parking!

Excellent Local Boston Family Friendly Rental

A great VRBO Rental This apartment is beautifully furnished and appointed. It’s in a very convenient location to get into Cambridge, parts of Boston, and access to the MASS Pike. Well stocked with all of the kitchen tools and cooking utensils required. Only concern we had was the platform beds not mattress in the rooms. For seniors, this could be an issue, if you have back problems. Standard Cable channels but no NESN Sports for local sport teams. Otherwise this is an exceptional rental property.

Everythjng was perfect from our first communication about booking until the extended checkout they graciously offered us! The house was clean, lovely and suited our multi-generational family of 9 perfectly. There were one or two hiccups in the beginning where the cleaners accidentally put towels away instead of out for us and a smoke detector went off. Both completely random accidents and could not be controlled for. Both times we contacted Michelle, her response was quick, friendly, helpful, and supportive - even when both contacts were later in the evening. Michelle was out of town and her husband was right there to immediarely help us with our needs. It was such a positive experience! The house was very close to Boston without being in the city. We walked from the house to a few cute brunch places, a few vintage shops, and just a nice walk around the neighborhood. If we return to the area, we will absolutely look to stay at Michelle's home again! Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!!!

Michelle works at the MIT Sloan School of Management as the Director of the new Business Analytics and Data Science program. She graduated from Cornell University with degrees in Computer Science and Operations Research. Stephen is a professional musician and piano teacher. He graduated from Berklee College of Music and performs around Boston on a regular basis with his band - Pink Talking Fish.
