Serendipia junto al mar

Serendipity se encuentra en la hermosa isla de Galiano ... Se encuentra en Whaler Bay, y está enclavado entre el bosque y la vida silvestre ... Es una cabaña de troncos bien cuidada de los años 50, en el agua con una hermosa vista ... Ciervos, mapaches, nutrias y águilas se pasean regularmente por la propiedad.

Tranquila, serena y cómoda, esta pequeña belleza tiene capacidad para dos en la cabina principal, pero también tiene una cabina para invitados que también tiene capacidad para dos ... (esta es una noche adicional de 50 pr., Pero se puede negociar a largo plazo alquileres).

Está a una corta distancia a pie de la terminal principal de ferry, así como de las tiendas locales y Madrona, que es un spa de clase mundial.

Debido a que el agua se recoge del agua de lluvia y ha sido tratada, se proporciona agua embotellada para beber. El agua del grifo se utiliza para platos y duchas.
Limite sus duchas a un mínimo. en el verano, ya que Galiano es una de las islas más secas del golfo y el agua debe ser traída en camión porque no es un problema en el invierno, debido a la lluvia.

No hay recolección de basura en la isla, así que llévese la basura. Hay un compost para usar en los restos de comida para ayudar a condensar los desechos.

Idyllic Getaway

Lovely, immaculate cabin with a great deck overlooking the water. Well appointed with everything you need. The bed is sooo comfortable. The location is very convenient. It was nice to walk into the village to the cafe and Oxeye. Loved the deer. We will be back.

Fantastic stay!

We had great communication with Deb both at check-in and during our stay, with getting us help we needed on the island one afternoon. Overall Deb and the cabin were amazing.

This quaint cabin is true to its name, Serenity by the Sea. We loved everything about it! The cabin is cozy and well equipped, the bed is so comfy - we slept so well and enjoyed the sweet smell of the forest and chirping of the birds. The outdoor space is stunning, with ample decks and a sweet little waterfront view. We would come back in a heartbeat! Amazing little gem on Galiano.

It's a beautiful little cabin in a gorgeous part of the world. The Ferry terminal, along with the amenities near the terminal (great coffee shop, bookstore, grocery/garage, and pizza place), are a very reasonable walk away.

Great stay on Galiano Island

The cabin is very close to the ferry and easy to find. It was just as described. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of amenities. We loved hanging out on the deck. It was very relaxing with the water right below. Deb was super responsive when something went wrong (our fault).

Perfect for two

Great spot close to bakery, restaurants,hiking and ferry but in a quiet area overlooking small bay with seals and otters. Beautiful.

Can’t wait to return!

Deborra was a great communicator and we absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was clean and well appointed with all the comforts of home. The location was amazing and we couldn’t get enough of the beautiful deck overlooking the water. We spent the most time there watching wildlife, eating meals and relaxing. We can’t wait to visit again!

Cabin on Galiano Island

We spent three wonderful nights at this beautiful cabin. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking out over Whalers Bay. Debora was a great host. The warmth and love of this special place is reflected throughout her cabin.

Hidden Gem

What a perfect little hidden gem! We had such a great time on Galiano and the location of this cabin was so perfect. The cabin was cute and clean we loved it. The patio was great to hang out on and get some sun and relaxation. Deb was a wonderful host we highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Galiano Island. Thanks Deb:)

Absolutely lovely!

Magical place. Cozy cottage with view of the water. Walking distance to book shop, bakery, restaurants. If you stay here treat this place with TLC and it will reward you.

Lovely cabin

Serendipity is a peaceful, comfortable and fully loaded cabin right on the water. The view is spectacular! It is decorated very tastefully and Deborra took the time to communicate all the little details and left us nice touches like chocolate, fresh flowers and a note. We will come again.

Beautiful stay at this charming cabin overlooking Whaler’s Cove. The deck is an amazing place to catch the afternoon sun and the cabin’s interior is straight out of a magazine. I can only imagine how cozy it is in the winter! Great kitchen set up with everything you need and it is literally 2 minutes from the ferry. We tried to be very cognizant of the lack of water on the island. The cabin’s only water source is rain so very quick showers. Deb was a great host who has thought of everything you might need. Highlight of our stay was climbing Mount Galiano for the incredible view! Visitors should note that cell reception on Galiano was nonexistent so expect to literally unplug during your stay. Packing out our garbage was also a first for us as there is no waste service on the island. We hope to be back again to visit this oasis of the West coast.

Sunset paradise on the deck

We truly enjoyed our stay at this very charming cabin. After full day of Galiano Island hikes it was very nice to get back to our cosy cabin. We especially loved the sunset views, eating all meals on the deck, the hummingbirds and the overall serenity of the place. There is a path that leads down to the water. During our canoe ride there was a curious seal that decided to swim along with us, that was extra special. We would love to come back!

Relaxing Time on Galiano Island

The cabin was a perfect place for our 20th anniversary celebration. It's just the right kind of cozy inside, where we slept so well, and the large deck outside was the perfect place to watch for wildlife, catch up on some reading, or just be for a bit. We enjoyed the proximity to some eats and shops that we could walk to. A swim in the bay in the late afternoon was about the best thing ever. We appreciated being checked-on by Deborra's friend who made sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.Thanks for a beautiful time.

First visit to Galiano…. Will not be our last!! Serendipity was pure Heaven! The mornings with coffee on the deck and late afternoon along the water was simply perfect. Such a comfortable, beautifully decorated and well stocked cabin. The location is perfect. Loved listening to the wind chimes. Thank you Deb for sharing Serendipity with us. We’ll be back.

Cozy get away

Enjoyed the darkness at night. No light pollution. Calm whaler bay and the western deck was great to sit and read with the sunshine in the afternoon. Easy access to the whole island. Wood stove was burning all the time and great heat for this time of year. Kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, spices and oils for cooking were plentiful. Great place to hang out for your island vacation. We’ll be back when we get back to Galiano.

I am a professional who specializes in grief and loss. I live in Vancouver but get over to Galiano to unplug as many times possible though-out the month. I am easy going, and enjoy meeting people and am pleased to be able to share this cabin so others can enjoy a little piece of heaven on earth.
I believe, we all need a special place to unwind and reconnect to ourselves which is why I bought it many years ago.

Its located close to the main ferry terminal ( Sturdies Bay) and is walking distance to the amenities ...... Situated in Whalers Bay, the cabin has a beautiful energy to it..

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Sparkling, emerald green water and a beautiful deck too enjoy the wildlife and view makes the place unique and calm.......I love the serene and peaceful setting, amongst the trees and wildlife. Serendipity is so close to Cain beach, and a hop skip and jump from the shops and ferry terminal. It's an easy commute if you are travelling on foot.
