Heureux hasard au bord de la mer

Serendipity est situé sur la magnifique île de Galiano ... Il est situé sur la baie Whaler, et est niché entre la forêt et la faune ... C'est une cabane en rondins bien entretenue des années 50, sur l'eau avec une belle vue ... Des cerfs, des ratons laveurs, des loutres et des aigles gambadent régulièrement dans toute la propriété.

Calme, serein et confortable, cette petite beauté peut accueillir deux personnes dans la cabine principale, mais dispose également d'une cabine d'invités qui peut également accueillir deux personnes ..... (il s'agit d'une nuit supplémentaire de 50 personnes, mais peut être négociée à long terme locations).

Il est à distance de marche du terminal de ferry principal ainsi que des magasins locaux et du Madrona qui est un spa de classe mondiale.

Parce que l'eau est collectée de l'eau de pluie et a été traitée, il y a de l'eau en bouteille fournie pour la boisson. L'eau du robinet est utilisée pour la vaisselle et les douches.
Veuillez limiter vos douches à un minimum. en été car Galiano est l'une des îles du golfe les plus sèches et l'eau doit être amenée par camion jusqu'à ce que ce ne soit pas un problème en hiver, à cause de la pluie.

Il n'y a pas de ramassage des ordures sur l'île, veuillez donc ramener vos ordures avec vous. Il y a un compost à utiliser pour les restes de nourriture pour aider à condenser les déchets.

Serendipity est une merveilleuse cabane pittoresque et paisible que je sais, vous apprécierez et vous vous sentirez détendu au moment de votre départ.

Lovely, immaculate cabin with a great deck overlooking the water. Well appointed with everything you need. The bed is sooo comfortable. The location is very convenient. It was nice to walk into the village to the cafe and Oxeye. Loved the deer. We will be back.

Fantastic stay!

We had great communication with Deb both at check-in and during our stay, with getting us help we needed on the island one afternoon. Overall Deb and the cabin were amazing.

It's a beautiful little cabin in a gorgeous part of the world. The Ferry terminal, along with the amenities near the terminal (great coffee shop, bookstore, grocery/garage, and pizza place), are a very reasonable walk away.

This quaint cabin is true to its name, Serenity by the Sea. We loved everything about it! The cabin is cozy and well equipped, the bed is so comfy - we slept so well and enjoyed the sweet smell of the forest and chirping of the birds. The outdoor space is stunning, with ample decks and a sweet little waterfront view. We would come back in a heartbeat! Amazing little gem on Galiano.

Perfect for two

Great stay on Galiano Island

The cabin is very close to the ferry and easy to find. It was just as described. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of amenities. We loved hanging out on the deck. It was very relaxing with the water right below. Deb was super responsive when something went wrong (our fault).

We spent three wonderful nights at this beautiful cabin. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking out over Whalers Bay. Debora was a great host. The warmth and love of this special place is reflected throughout her cabin.

Can’t wait to return!

Deborra was a great communicator and we absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was clean and well appointed with all the comforts of home. The location was amazing and we couldn’t get enough of the beautiful deck overlooking the water. We spent the most time there watching wildlife, eating meals and relaxing. We can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely lovely!

Magical place. Cozy cottage with view of the water. Walking distance to book shop, bakery, restaurants. If you stay here treat this place with TLC and it will reward you.

What a perfect little hidden gem! We had such a great time on Galiano and the location of this cabin was so perfect. The cabin was cute and clean we loved it. Lovely cabin

Serendipity is a peaceful, comfortable and fully loaded cabin right on the water. The view is spectacular! It is decorated very tastefully and Deborra took the time to communicate all the little details and left us nice touches like chocolate, fresh flowers and a note. We will come again.

Sunset paradise on the deck

We truly enjoyed our stay at this very charming cabin. After full day of Galiano Island hikes it was very nice to get back to our cosy cabin. We especially loved the sunset views, eating all meals on the deck, the hummingbirds and the overall serenity of the place. There is a path that leads down to the water. During our canoe ride there was a curious seal that decided to swim along with us, that was extra special. We would love to come back!

Relaxing Time on Galiano Island

The cabin was a perfect place for our 20th anniversary celebration. It's just the right kind of cozy inside, where we slept so well, and the large deck outside was the perfect place to watch for wildlife, catch up on some reading, or just be for a bit. We enjoyed the proximity to some eats and shops that we could walk to. A swim in the bay in the late afternoon was about the best thing ever. We appreciated being checked-on by Deborra's friend who made sure we were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.Thanks for a beautiful time.

Happy Hearts

First visit to Galiano…. Will not be our last!! Serendipity was pure Heaven! The mornings with coffee on the deck and late afternoon along the water was simply perfect. Such a comfortable, beautifully decorated and well stocked cabin. The location is perfect. Loved listening to the wind chimes. Thank you Deb for sharing Serendipity with us. We’ll be back.

Cozy get away

Enjoyed the darkness at night. No light pollution. Calm whaler bay and the western deck was great to sit and read with the sunshine in the afternoon. Easy access to the whole island. Wood stove was burning all the time and great heat for this time of year. Kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, spices and oils for cooking were plentiful. Great place to hang out for your island vacation. We’ll be back when we get back to Galiano.

I am a professional who specializes in grief and loss. I live in Vancouver but get over to Galiano to unplug as many times possible though-out the month. I am easy going, and enjoy meeting people and am pleased to be able to share this cabin so others can enjoy a little piece of heaven on earth.
I believe, we all need a special place to unwind and reconnect to ourselves which is why I bought it many years ago.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Sparkling, emerald green water and a beautiful deck too enjoy the wildlife and view makes the place unique and calm.......I love the serene and peaceful setting, amongst the trees and wildlife. Serendipity is so close to Cain beach, and a hop skip and jump from the shops and ferry terminal. It's an easy commute if you are travelling on foot.
