Beautiful spot by the water with a generous deck, a great spot for eating out by the water, and beautiful view from the living room and bedroom. Well appointed kitchen and very responsive host. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!!

Beautiful and peaceful space...incredible views and all I needed for a quiet solo retreat.Breath taking views- just AMAZING.The Otters, the Ravens, the Eagles!I WILL be back again, that is for certain.I shan't forget to mention the gracious and thoughtful host. Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the property very clean and enjoyed the gorgeous view. Regarding the Wi-Fi, we recently upgraded our internet service. A speed test taken at the property shows approximately 133 Mbps download speed. Internet service on the Gulf Islands, especially at waterfront properties, can sometimes vary, but we have made every effort to provide our guests with the best connection available. As noted clearly in our listing, the property does not provide a TV. Regarding the cooking facilities, we actually provide considerably more cooking equipment and supplies than what is listed in the amenities. Had we known there was something additional you needed during your stay, we would have been very happy to help or provide it if possible. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your feedback

Great place, exactly as described with a great view of the ocean. Kitchen was quite functional and the induction cooking too was a nice touch. Had one rainy day where we were stuck inside for a fair chunk and would have been nice to have another chair besides the couch but otherwise a great property.

Beautiful weekend getaway on Pender Island

Susan's place is wonderful for a relaxing getaway. It's clean, cozy and well equipped. The location cannot be beat, with views out over the water. It was also super easy to access the ocean down the steps from the garden, which was a real bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Amazing view

I really just wanted to stay in this place our whole time on the island because the view is so wonderful. Such big windows and you can even see from the bedroom (and no one can see in). The bed was comfortable and all was as described.

Both leading to and throughout our stay, the owner went above and beyond when responding to our queries or being proactive with recommendations. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and as described. A pleasant surprise was the layout of the multi-level asian garden overlooking the water. Because it provides for such a peaceful and pleasant setting, a couple of reclining chairs on the lower level next to the tea house would have been a welcome touch, as an alternative to the tall bistro style sitting. That said, with so many coves and beaches to enjoy on Pender, the island does not lack options. We had not quite grasped that the smaller unit we rented was adjacent to the main rental unit in the same property. This certainly was not an issue during our stay. A very positive experience all around, enhanced by a warm and dedicated host. Attached are some of the wildlife and sunrise/sunset as viewed from the garden.
