Great location, but furnishings sub par
Can’t beat the location. True Ski in/ski out. Keep in mind if you ride the gondola to one ski hill to take advantage of the bowling alley, pool and spa, gondola stops running at 5:30. Property itself- carpet is dated and stained. Chairs for dining table completely shot/drooping in the middle. Dining table super worn and wobbly. Lights over dining table shine directly in your eyes. Entire unit is otherwise on the dim side. If you use the oven, fire alarm will go off every time you open the oven. Every morning when we woke up, there’s a smoke like fog (No clue why, but It’s weird) in the living room, Pull out couch- had a big yellow stain on the mattress and left over cheese-its from some previous guest, other two beds in the two bedrooms- super uncomfortable- we’ve never been so hot every night and sweaty- we think the sheets are cheap or waterproof or made of plastic so it’s like a furnace- or maybe there’s waterproof mattress pads?- couldn’t make it through the night without pulling off the sheets using But the mattresses still made us super hot- again, very weird; couch in living room is super close to the tv so it’s like being in the front row of a movie theatre. Again, location great, but for the price we wouldn’t go back because the inexpensive furnishings made our time in the condo very uncomfortable. Oh! And we had to find someone to help us with our ski locker. We weren’t given the code so the property manager had to create a new code for us. If you stay here, make sure you get the code!

Annie, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We appreciate your suggestions on areas of improvement and have shared them with the homeowner for further consideration! Best, the Evolve Team
Heat was set to 80 degrees and could not be adjusted. Pee stains on floor in front of toilet. Hair and misc items stuck to shower wall. Rug upturned on all four corners. Broken hair dryer. Broken crank and lock on window. No light bulb in lamp. Dresser drawers would not stay closed. Tv stand drawers did not close. Management could not get cleaner out til next day and they only cleaned bathroom. Did not fix anything else. T

Just okay
First, I had to drive somewhere to pick up a key, which was a little bit of a pain. We arrived at the property to find that there is no cooling (other than fans) and that they only offer parking for one car. There was some kind of poop on the deck (bat or mouse) and most of the dishes had spots on them or were sticky. There was also a big stain on the carpet. It looked a lot nicer in the photos. The location is great and the view from the deck is fantastic. We saw three moose the day we left in the small pond across the street. You can walk to a trailhead in a matter of minutes. We overall enjoyed the trip but would not book with the property management company that owned the property again.
Great location for ski in/ ski out with great amenities including ski lockers, underground garage and warm hot tubs! Only issue we had was a dishwasher that didn't work and was told that appliance maintenance was booked until the following week.

Condo in Breck
This is our second time staying in this condo at Crystal Peak, same beautiful location which is perfect for access to the slopes. Independence Super Chair is right out the back door as is the Breckconnect Gondola. The check-in process is seamless and the directions are easy to follow via EMail. The condo has covered parking and you can gain access with your key(s) provided. Wi-Fi is fast, stable and password protected. Gorgeous views from the balcony of the mountains. Beds are comfortable and in good shape. A few issues that need to be addressed are as follows:
1. We stayed in the same condo back in July and as previously recommended, the dining room table is still wobbly, tough for all of us to eat together as the table shifts around a lot. Feels like it's going to collapse.
2. The dishes that we used upon arrival were in need of a re-wash before we could use them. Dishwasher is high end, but doesn't clean very well, even after a hand pre-wash. Not sure why dirty dishes were put back in the cabinet.
3. The sheets in the first bedroom on the left don't fit the bed, they are constantly popping loose from the corners because they are too small. The blanket under the comforter needs replacing, it's coming apart.
4. Blinds and ceiling fan are dusty and in need of some attention.
5. Kitchen floor was dirty on arrival, we had to sweep it.
6. Locker combination for storage of ski equipment never provided. Used a lot of slope time up trying to figure it out. Upon check-in, I asked the question concerning storage of ski equipment, was told the instructions were on the lockers. They are, but no code is listed/provided for entry into the lockers in any form of communication that I received. Obviously the front desk staff person didn't know either or he would have said something or simply provided the code. It's painfully simple. Recommendation is put the code in the check-in instructions.
7. Phone number listed in the instructions is outdated, the number is disconnected. Tried calling it.
Not to be difficult, but the price you are paying during peak season isn’t cheap and these types of miscues shouldn't be happening. The condo is in the best location possible for skiing and to the Breckconnect Gondola. Even though the Front Desk staff at Crystal Peak aren’t responsible for the management of the condo, they were very helpful, friendly and they were more than willing to assist than the PM Team responsible for the management of the condo.
Nice property, location was wonderful. Some drawbacks were owners fees are higher than normal, and some maintenance could be use. Some of the lightbulbs were out and neither blow dryers worked. But besides that, it had nice views, was quiet, and very comfortable.
We stayed for 5 nights and this VRBO unit can only be described as Excellent. The unit is well appointed and has a great view of the city of Breckenridge below. It is only a 5 minute drive to get pretty much anywhere in town. I had to call the management company twice to address small issues and they were quick to get the task addressed. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return.
Crystal Peak is a great location and our unit was perfect for us! Second time to stay here and would definitely go back there. Manager was helpful and very nice to talk too!
Room was very nice, gondola was within walking distance. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Pool was at One ski hill place I would say in the listing that it’s shared not on the Crystal Peak Lodge property. Overall very satisfied had a great week beautiful view from the property.
We stayed in Breckenridge as we were visiting family in the area and also check out the condo for our future skiing trip in December. Communication with the property management team is very thorough and precise. The condo is in good condition, beds are comfortable, the kitchen is furnished with the essentials you need to cook and wonderful views of the mountains, the Internet is fast, stable and password protected. There is no A/C, but fans are provided. Covered parking is provided for all guests and your condo key provides you access to the garage. Gondola access is a two minute walk and free to ride in the summertime. A few recommendations for the property management team: Your communication E-Mails could be shortened in length/wording. While appreciative of the communication, it's easy to get lost in them, due to how many are sent out. The second comment is the dining room table legs need to be tightened up, very loose and wobbly. All in all, we loved the location/views so much of this condo and how it is managed, that we have already booked our return in December.
We have stayed here a couple of times and have always had a great experience! We did notice this time that the carpet had some staining but overall the condo is extremely clean and has everything you need. We also love that there is a washer and dryer right in the condo. We plan to return to Breckenridge in the near future and will definitely stay here again.
For the most part excellent. There were a few minor issues, but it didn't affect our few days in Breckenridge.
The windows in the master bedroom couldn't be opened due to a broken window rotator. Absolutely necessary during the summer. The master bedroom TV was inoperable....guessing the batteries in the remote were dead. Last, a little more info should be provided on where to take the trash to. We didn't see anything in the instructions. All that said...….we would do it again (and just might!)

Great property at the base of Peak 7!
Wonderful location with perfect access to Independence lift and gondola at base of Peak 7. We didn't move our car the entire stay. Our condo had access to a ski locker which was SO convenient.
Condo was nice and clean with everything we needed and as described. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family of 4. We enjoyed being able to eat in the condo and do our laundry!

An unforgettable weekend for the family.
The check-in process was quick and easy, and conveniently located close to the grocery store in Breck to pick up supplies for the stay. We drove up in 60 degree weather, and got 12"-14" of snow the next day. Having a (heated) garage was amazing. The condo was in perfect condition and we got lots of use out of the hot tubs. Walked right out to the hiking trails off the peak 7 lift. Perfect place for my kids to see the mountains for the first time.
Thank you!

Beautiful condo, great location.
This is a great condo located right at the gondola stop on peak 7. You can take the gondola to town, or up to peak8 to use the pool at One Ski Hill Place. Great views from the balcony.

Disappointment
Let me begin by saying we absolutely love staying at Crystal Peak Lodge. That being said, we will never go through Book By Owner again. We will go back to using VRBO as we had for the past three years. This particular room was subpar to others we have stayed in. The master bedroom was listed at the time as having a king, it didn't, which is now fixed in the description. The master bathroom was filthy and after buying cleaner, (there was nothing to clean with in the condo) we found that the shower did not drain. The rest of the unit was not cleaned very well either, crumbs on the floor under the dining table and throughout the livingroom area. When we called about the bed issue, Andrew was great and worked with us to get a resolution on that issue, even tried finding us a different unit. When we called about the shower, the women was absolutely horrid, very rude and indignant. Again, Crystal Peak Lodge is awesome and we will rent here again, not with Book by Owner
Manager's Response:
Thanks for taking the time to leave this feedback. We apologize for your disappointment with the condo and your experience with the local contact. We appreciate your feedback and have addressed your concerns with both the homeowner and the local contact so these issues can be prevented going forward. Thanks again for letting us know and for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns while you were in residence. Best, The Evolve Team

Location was great! Wish it had a pool for kids to enjoy and more restaurants to walk to.
Great experience and great location. The heat in the condo was not working properly, it was freezing in one bedroom and extremely hot in other areas. Property manager was very friendly and we were grateful to be able to get into unit before 4:00. Wish they had a pool and more restaurants within walking distance.
