Newly Re-Opened Listing: A Montecito Mid-Century original, this private 2 bedroom redwood home with a fenced yard is a block from kid-friendly Miramar Beach and the Hammond's and Shark's Point surf spots. It is across the street from elegant dining and entertainment at the Rosewood Resort. Suitable for romance or kids and pets. Entirely private outdoor spaces, propane BBQ, and chaise lounges. Indoor and outdoor spaces completely private. Road cyclists enjoy direct access to the California Coastal route, and there are endless mountain bike and hiking trails trails one mile way. Coast Village Rd and the Montecito Upper Village are within walking distance for great shopping and restaurants. On freeway frontage road with immediate on/off Highway 101 to explore Santa Barbara historic downtown and waterfront, UCSB, Santa Ynez wine country, Summerland, and Carpinteria beach towns. This location does experience freeway and train noise and is priced accordingly. We hope you'll enjoy your stay.

Fur-baby and mom approved!

The location is great. It’s very private and my homebody fur-baby actually wanted to stay longer. Kathy the owner is so nice. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Convenient, Comfortable, and Well-Equipped

Great location. Walkable for beaches, food and drink. House is well-equipped for cooking, relaxing or heading to the beach (towels, chairs, umbrella). Owner is very responsive to any needs and bed and couches are comfy. One downside is the proximity to 101 if you are bothered by traffic noise. We found it wasn't a major problem and well mitigated by white noise machines and available earplugs.

Wonderful weekend in Santa Barbara

You can't beat the location of this house. It's steps from the Rosewood hotel and Miramar beach. Easy walk to downtown Montecito as well. House is well appointed, cozy living room and kitchen has everything. Access to laundry room. Katy, the owner is lovely and very helpful. Two things to note, The beds are small if you have large adults - two in our group are over 6'5". And, Katy, the owner, lives next door which wasn't a problem at all and she provided great tips for walking to another nearby beach.
