They Cancelled us 6 weeks before our trip
We never stayed there. Had confirmed, deposit paid for 30 day stay. They cancelled our reservation 6 weeks prior to trip due to HOA maintenance. More of a reflection of the property management company and not the property itself.

Dated but cozy.
The place was dated, but still cozy. Someone went crazy with a label maker and left instructions all over the house. It made it feel like we were intruding in someone else's house. On the plus side, we did like that every bedroom was attached to a bathroom.
One of our biggest complaints was in the pictures it showed all these extra amenities like a pool and playground. We assumed they were right by the condo, but they were actually a 5 minute drive away! I don't mind paying a little extra for the pool, but the playground was behind gates too! We chose the condo over a cabin for the amenities, so we were disappointed to discover how far away they were and that we had to pay extra money everyday for them.

The property and location are great. We enjoyed the quiet area and the ability to be so close to the marina. The condo came with all the cooking essential all well labeled with guided directions to do's and dont's. Sadly the grill propane was empty when we wanted to us it, but overall we loved our experience.
We had a wonderful stay at this location! They were great to communicate with us and very helpful.
The beds were comfortable and the everything was very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and organized.
Thank you for a great stay!

lovely condo
This place is confusing to find and our discussion with the property manager did not help. We wound up knocking on random doors and getting directions from a neighbor. A simple map would be very helpful.
The condo is nice and cozy and in a fun location near the water.
Condo was nice and had all of the things we expected and actually exceeded our expectations. Bathroom downstairs could use some updating as the shower slider was loose and could come off the tracks. The upstairs kitchen and family room were comfortable and had lots of seating for friends. Overall our experience was good and we would definitely stay here again. Our only complaint was that we went to barbecue and the propane tank was empty and meat was left on the barbecue from the previous renter.

The property was clean and very convenient
The place had everything we needed. It’s only downgraded one star because when we arrived, both closet doors in one of the bedrooms were off the track and appeared broken. I was able to fix them, but not really the look you’re expecting when you walk into a room. We felt that showed some aspect of a lack of caring for maintaining the place. Also, the heater is sort of noisy. Temps were close to freezing at night during our visit, so we needed the heat on during the night which woke me up every time it turned on and off. Overall, this is a nice place. Parking was convenient and I didn’t hear any neighbor noise. If you want to watch TV, hope you can navigate an Apple TV. I had to learn on the fly. The regular cable never worked for me on the main TV.

Awesome summer spot
This condo is super clean and in a perfect location. Close to everything and Very well maintained. The area is called the keys and it is so peaceful away from the savages that summer brings to Tahoe. The WiFi was clocking in at 100+ so my device loving family was almost too happy that I needed to drag them outside. Just bring your suntan lotion and beach towels and prepare to enjoy yourself. The weather has been spectacular. Aside from the new city rules for parking. I’d recommend this cozy place in a heartbeat.

Great condo!
The condo is in great condition, very clean and well-maintained The kitchen was very well stocked in terms of cooking pots, pans an utensils. It has plenty of bath towels. Excellent wifi! The owner personally reached out to us during our stay to make sure everything was okay. It is close to everything in South Lake Tahoe. You only get two parking passes though and there are new laws prohibiting renters from parking on the street.

Nice place for a weekend visit
The condo is located in the Tahoe Keys development. We like this area as it is away from the main street and quiet. The condo had 3 bedrooms (2 downstairs and 1 upstairs) and 2 baths. The living room has plenty of space to relax. They has a 40 in TV with only about 8 channels. But they also have an apple TV so we were able to airplay movies from our iPad.
The kitchen is adaquate and has all utensils for a family of 6-8 people. The beds were comfy and the heater worked well.
They have very strict rules about noise and parking and there are signs all over that warn you about violating any of the rules.
On the downside, the downstairs bathroom was a bit worn and needs updating. The bath tub enclosure was broken. The fan was noisy and in-effective. The fireplace doesn't work and there is no hot-tub in the properly.
Overall a good place to stay for the week end.

Last taste of summer
This was my first time staying in the Tahoe Keys area. I took my family to Tahoe for some fun before everyone had to go back to school and it did not disappoint. We were here for a week and enjoyed every minute. The Tahoe Keys is safe, quiet, and wonderfully maintained area of Tahoe. The grass is green, lots of trees, and you are surrounded by water. We didn't use the pool or spa, there was so much to do without having to pay a fee.
We wanted to save money and didn't want to eat out, so we cooked almost every meal. The kitchen had everything we needed, cooking utensils, pots, pans, even a large roasting pan. The grill on the deck also bbq'd our burgers and tri-tip very well.
My family is very addicted to their phones and ipads, so it was great that wifi was consistently 60+mbps. When the kids weren't looking at their devices, they were watching tv, there was no cable, only a few HD channels, but all the kids wanted was appletv or roku anyway.
Beds were super comfy, every bedroom was attached to a bathroom, lots of towels and toilet paper and my wife did countless loads of laundry (big plus). I think the washer and dryer are new. The home was very clean overall.
This condo was an excellent price for what you got. I was pleasantly surprised with the Tahoe Keys. We had no complaints. The location is prime and pretty spectacular. Morning coffee while replying to work emails, looking out to the water, and 80 degree weather was a perfect way to end our summer.

Decent
Needs updating. No "real cable". 6 channels of Tahoe local. Apple TV only. Unlike pics, you don't back up to dock. Not much outside unit. Can use some upgrades w/glass/shot. Never been to a cabin in Tahoe before that didn't have shot glasses and a shaker. Furniture very old, don't feel clean sitting on it.

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. The listing has never advertised cable as an available feature, as we want guests to know what to expect, but we appreciate that you were disappointed nonetheless. We’ve shared your feedback with the homeowner who let us know that Tahoe Keys is a family community, geared towards outdoor enthusiasts. The lake is about 50 feet away by walking across a large lawn, where guests enjoy playing football, volleyball, badminton, frisbee and more. Outside the unit is a boat dock which you can fish, or launch your water toys. Right outside of the Tahoe Keys community is access to the Forest Glen bike trail that takes you on a beautiful ride in less than 2 miles to Camp Richardson and several beaches. Thank you again for sharing your experience. We appreciate your feedback as we want to ensure guests have an exceptional vacation experience in this home. Best, The Evolve Team

Awesome clean place
This place is at a great location in South Tahoe. It's easy to get to and close to all the shops and Heavenly ski resort. The place is very clean which is the most important thing to me. There are plenty of towels and bedding and all the appliances are in good working condition. There are also plenty of parking spaces nearby.

My happy place
I have stayed at this condo a few times over the last several years now and it is definitely my happy place. I stay in various places based on how big my group is. I come here with my kids and their friends. I love coming here because of the location and also the proximity to the bike trail, the beaches and my favorite...the boat dock out back where I fish and my kids jump off the dock and launch their water toys. The Tahoe Keys is a absolutely the only place to stay while in south shore.
This place has everything I need. I've seen some of the negative reviews and I'm not sure they stayed at the same place. I feel like I have to address this because I was just there. This is one of the nicer/cleaner homes I've stayed in. The carpets look new and clean, the washer and dryer look brand new with stickers on them, there's also what looks like a new range in the kitchen, and the bathroom showers work great. The furniture in the living room could use an update but it is all functional. The only other thing is that there aren't many spices and cooking oils so bring your own.
I absolutely recommend families and couples to stay here. Each stay has been a joy.

Keys Lake Tahoe Condo
Old, dirty, rules posted everywhere ! Inside the shower even ??? Smelled like mildew going upstairs ! Only 1 very tiny wrapped bar of soap in 1 bathroom ? The shower faucet downstairs wouldn't work properly was broken needed replaced also the clothes dryer sounded as if a baby toddler was inside of it rolling around with just 2 items inside, the kitchen stove/cooktop dials didn't work properly either 😳 Not a great
experience the only thing is , its beautiful Lake Tahoe , outside you can't take the sights & smells of Lake Tahoe away , just a bad unit we stayed in !!!!

Thank you for the feedback! The rules are posted based on feedback the homeowner has received from previous guests. As for your other feedback, we encourage travelers to reach out while in residence so we are able to address issues like this immediately; but of course we’re not able to resolve issues we’re unaware of. The owner has assured us that the faucet and washer/dryer units have been replaced and the stove has been confirmed as repaired. We do apologize for any miscommunication regarding the available amenities. This listing has never advertised toiletries as an available amenity, but I appreciate that you were disappointed nonetheless. We want to make sure travelers have the best vacation rental experience at this home, so we do thank you again for your constructive feedback and we hope to assist you again in booking a vacation rental that will exceed your expectations!

Clean and Noisy
The good things first. The condo is very clean, and there was ample room for our family. Everything we needed was there. It is located in a nice area of Tahoe, and has a great view of the boat docks.
Now the not so good. The furniture is very worn, and should be replaced. The condo is noisy in general. The heater is very loud. We were traveling with a baby, and it woke him up every time it went on. I did one load of laundry, and the dryer was so loud and shaky. I thought it was going to come out of the wall. The television was so hard to figure out. We couldn't figure out the Apple TV because it required a password. There is no cable, so we had to watch basic TV.
Overall, it was good for the price we paid.

Thank you for the feedback. We are glad that overall you enjoyed your stay. Now that we’re aware of the problem, we’ll make sure it doesn’t recur for future guests. We have forwarded this feedback to the homeowner and we were assured that the furnace was serviced, however may still be a little loud. The washer and dryer have been replaced and the password has been removed on the Apple TV. There is no cable TV, you are correct, however the homeowner has upgraded the WIFI service to the best available package with Apple TV and Roku available. The owner is also currently in the process of replacing the furniture. Thank you again for letting us know!

Good location, poor upkeep.
The location of the condo is convenient for summer activities. Close to town, close to the beach and other attractions around the south side of the lake. Good size with two floors and 3 bedrooms.
The upkeep of the condo is so-so. Cobwebs, and a large ball of hair (?) were hanging from the exposed ceiling beams. The washer and dryer are from the 70s and the dryer is so loud, you literally cannot run it when you are in the house. Sounds like the bearings in the drum have gone out a long time ago.
Carbon monoxide sensors throughout the house are missing batteries.
The knob for the large range burner was missing and inoperable.
kitchen light bulbs went out with no replacements.
In a condo that sleeps 7, only 4 towels and washrags were provided. We only had 4 people staying but had no extra towels and weren't told before hand we were expected to bring our own beach towels.
The internet is spotty, mostly due to a router that needed to be rstarted every hour or so. The rokus and apple tvs conencged tot he TVs are nice but were of limited use with the spotty internet.
Carpet and furniture are also old and need cleaning.
Beds were fine.
Also, the "private beach and pool" advertised require that you purchase a daily pass from the property association. $7 per day per person or $30 per week.
This was one of the cheaper properties with little to no cleaning fee or security deposit. so I guess you get what you pay for.

Thank you for the feedback. We are glad that overall you enjoyed your stay, but do apologize that the cleanliness of the property was unsatisfactory! Cleanliness is one of our 4 Core Property Standards, so we forwarded your feedback to the homeowner so they can make any necessary adjustments. The washer and dryer have been replaced and the homeowner has upgraded the WIFI service to the best available package for the area. Housekeeping has been instructed to make sure that batteries have not been removed from sensors in the house after each stay and are aware of the adjustments that need to be made to their routine. We have also been assured that the large range burner has been repaired. We apologize that it was not clearly expressed that extra beach towels should be brought by guests, we will make sure that is communicated to future travelers. As for the usage fees, these are instated by HOA as advertised and are mandatory. We want to make sure travelers have the best vacation rental experience at this home, so we do thank you again for your constructive feedback!

Great location, needs updated cookware
The location has everything you need! It is an older house, but it's comfortable. Bring your own cookware if you're going to cook, the pots and pans are outdated and sticky. The oven dials are also misleading, as they don't really control the temp or turn off properly.

fairly good
Overall, the place is good and has ample space for carry on things we brought over. The location is very convenient and we can definitely reconsider staying at this place. However, there's couple things that weren't in good order, laundry dryer and wifi. Wifi is very important these days, especially for vloggers. The TV which runs on Roku requires to have a good wifi, and so TV was out during our stay.
