This is a great place to stay to get away from it all and enjoy the natural beauty of the driftless region. We canoed, picked apples, dined at a local establishment, and spent time relaxing. The cabin’s location was a perfect home base for those activities. Two of our favorite things about staying here were the peace and quiet and the stars at night. Since it is on a small little road in a valley off the main highway there was very little traffic. After dark there was basically no traffic. Though there are some nearby farms, the trees do a great job of obscuring their lights. That meant great conditions for night sky viewing. If I am ever fortunate enough to return to this beautiful area, I would have zero hesitation booking this same cabin again.

We enjoyed the beautiful setting, the spacious feeling inside the home (views via the picture window), fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and couches, the games provided, the fire pit, and complimentary snacks. Christy was a very responsive host and graciously agreed to accommodate a special need I had in advance of our arrival. The cabin was clean and everything to make our stay feel like home was available, including towels for use on our kayaking day-trip. .We hope to return next summer.
